“Runaway Train” Love Is Like!

bigstock-Speeding-Locomotive-2929307

Runaway Train

Loving is like a runaway train

It goes so fast you never know

What the end of the track will be

Emotions don’t have an on-and-off button

So it is hard to control the speed

At which you will go

Like a train, it is better to start slow

And gradually build up to the highest speed

Or plateau

If too fast, you could jump off the track or crash

A train ride, like a relationship

Can be a pleasant and smooth ride

Or

It can be frightening and an unpredictable experience

My Broken Wing

Moonlight Angel

My Broken Wing

Beneath the heavens, on this earthly plain

I reach up my hands in praise

No matter how much it is to sustain

Your light guides me through life’s maze

Longing to be cradled in Your loving embrace

Reaching forward, praying for more

Your blood shed, my sins to erase

Oh Lord, I give my life for You to restore

With my broken wing, it is hard to reach the sky

Please send the angels to help me

I need You, Lord; there are many reasons why

Precious Savior, I need to be closer to Thee

Many miles have I walked, hard and long

Mistakes counted by grains of sand

Words spoken, though I knew they were wrong

With You with me, strong will I stand

With my broken wing, it is hard to reach the sky

Please send the angels to help me

I need You, Lord; there are many reasons why

Precious Savior, I need to be closer to Thee

“If You Were Not Here” Take a look and think about it!

2013-10-04 05.55.11

You might think I am trying to make brownie points…being it is so close to Valentines Day, but my husband doesn’t ever read my blog. lol.

After almost 6 years of marriage and all the daily problems we all experience, I don’t take for granted…not one moment…of what is so precious. I am not ashamed to say I have been married several times, divorce and being a widow, as well, but all of them were loved in their own special ways. If not for ALL who have crossed my path…I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. Everything seems so special and romantic when you are dating and newly wed, then being comfortable sets in, which sometimes sets us up to overlook those special little things that keeps the romance alive.

Right now my husband is lying on the couch and asking me what advice I am giving. Ha! Ha! Now I am instructing him on how to go to my blog. I’m not stupid people. You have to take the opportunity to make a good impression. Especially since I asked him to take out the trash in his pajamas last night in freezing cold weather and at 11 pm. lol.

Advice: Love everyday as if it were your first day and your last.

God Bless and Good night

If You Were Not Here

If you were not here, then where would I be?

Your presence allows me to feel safe and secure.

Your eyes see what I can’t see of myself,

Such as the goodness of heart and my childlike qualities.

Your voice shows strength and certainty in yourself,

And clarity and an openness of mind.

Your smile warms and brightens the darkest, coldest part of my being.

Your touch makes me feel alive,

And stirs an unbelievable love for you.

If you were not here, then where would I be?

Dedicated to the love of my life

“Even The Angels Cried”

Arch Angel Outside Sanctuary

“Even the Angels Cried”

As a woman who seemed to have so much pain and disappointment in her life, one more thing was not a surprise. Beyond other people’s world of peace and harmony, family and friends, she slept alone. The nights tormented her with the same nightmare, her cries and screams in the night went unheard. Each year, she would think that maybe that year would come a man in shining armor, on a white stallion, to rescue her….But he never came. Surely God didn’t wish her so much grief and a life of fear! Through all times, she tried to do well, not take up for herself, assuming all was her fault… But it wasn’t.

God did have a purpose for someone to endure so much, just the reason wasn’t clear, for the moment. Prayers were said each night, with conviction and an earnest plea for help. Did they hear her? Were there Angels close by?

The story about this woman was not a secret, but she didn’t want pity, but understanding and acceptance. People are so leery to deal with someone who suffers from trauma. It’s not that they don’t care; it’s that it makes them feel uncomfortable.

At a time when she had given up on having a normal life, God sent someone, he had been preparing for her…Someone who would love her…Protect her…Understand her. Because of his wisdom and good heart, she overcame her nightmares and started to enjoy life. Still she wondered why God had allowed so many terrible things to happen to her…Until.

An article written in a local newspaper of her ordeal of rape, battery, and then left on the side of the road, in the snow…to die, brought her the answer. Women started writing her, sharing

and asking for answers to the same questions she had asked God, for so long. It was her strength and faith that had brought her to this point, with the help of a loving husband. Her purpose was to share with those who felt they would never overcome the trauma and make them see, there is always HOPE.

At bedtime, she and her husband kneel and give thanks to God for his blessings and for bringing them together. With tears in her eyes, her husband says to her, “Even the Angels cried when you were in pain. Now they cry with joy.”

“My Vision” From Me to You

Snapshot_20130717_4

I apologize for not posting in awhile, for I don’t want to loose the ones that follow. God Bless all of you. When I was younger I wanted to make a difference in my life; Something important. As I got older, it was to leave a legacy for my children. Now, it is really for me. We all have visions to change the world or accomplish something great in our lives; Me no exception. The greatest thing we can do in life is sharing and loving, letting go, moving on and knowing when to stand your ground. If I touch one person’s life and make it the better, then I reached my goal.

Our mates that we, hopefully live out our days with, are so precious; They are our lovers, our best friend, our partner in life, but we do forget at times.

My vision is to be able to touch people’s heart, inspire them, embrace the moment, to better to improve what I do, uplift the weary, and most of all; Show my husband everyday, how important he is.

“Turbulent Sea of Emotions” Poetry for the Soul

promotional cover turbulentsea_72

Sea Of Emotions

When the waves of turmoil come crashing on the shore, turbulent seacovercomp

Can you hold on to your emotional grip?

It’s like the sea, full of turbulent waters and more,

Or, will your power to control begin to slip?

As the winds brew up a fierce whirlwind,

How can I cope with what I can’t fix?

The shoreline are ever changing in its line,

Like the sea full of emotions.

This should be a warning or a sign,

Of what the heart can do to cause such commotion.

How can one allow another to get through?

To ache with yearning deep in your heart,

When up to now, it’s been only you.

We expect coos right from the start.

As certain as the sun rises and sets,

And comes the calmness of the sea,

Will you ever regret the day we met?

Will you, one day, come back to me?

Our souls are like the sea of emotions,

Which cause such commotion.

With matters of love and devotion,

Our hearts are lost in the sea of emotions

“I’ll Follow You” My Wedding Vows

D'Aun (67)

I’ll Follow You

As I live through each day of my life

Enjoying the things that others fail to see

Thanking God you chose to make me your wife

And embracing the hope of how our life will be

If you should choose another place to go

Traveling near or far for a home that is new

I hope in your heart you’ll always know

Wherever and how long, I’ll follow you

As each year passes and we grow old

We’ll still hold on to our love

The journey may take us to the streets of gold

But we’ll be together with our Father above

If you should choose another place to go

Traveling near or far for a home that is new

I hope in your heart you’ll always know

Wherever and how long, I’ll follow you

Life here on earth is just one step along the way

Hope our future together is the greatest of our time spent

And side-by-side we’ll always stay

For to be with you through all our journeys, is my intent

Father God, thank you for this man who has changed my life

Bless him abundantly for all the goodness he has done

Let him never regret for making me his wife

To request any other blessings, I’ll ask for none

For you see

If you should choose another place to go

Traveling near or far for a home that is new

I hope in your heart you’ll always know

Wherever and how long, I’ll follow you

(My Wedding Vows)

“Window of the Soul”

Window of the Soul

bigstock-Guardian-Angel-s-Look-476177

Looking into your eyes

Wondering what lies there

Trying to know the reasons why

And what secrets you bare

Each soul has a spirit within

Questioning what part it might play

And what complications might the spirit bring in

What would it say?

What do we see in the window of the soul?

I seek to know your heart inside

Loving and longing for something

To see the things you try to hide

Or what the future might bring

I see the window of your soul

How deep is the depth of your inner being?

Stress in your life is taking its toll

Can’t explain what my eyes are seeing

What do we see in the window of the soul?
