HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS 2013

 

This year was Zombie Rockin’ Fun! Take a stroll if you dare, or run for your life if you can, through the Walking Dead themed Halloween Horror Nights for this year at Universal Studios. No more designated creeper areas made the entire park terror-liffic fun. Thank God, I had my sexy protector (husband) at my side, but there were too many times when we were out numbered!

If you’re a fan of the Walking Dead then you just might forget they have haunted houses to go to! Why bother standing in line when there are Zombies around every corner, creeping and jumping out of the fog, and getting so close you feel their breath on the back of your neck! Girls, you may not want to wear your hair up in a high pony tail! Yes, all the cool things you’ve come to know and love from the show are right there to experience. You’ll feel you’re in the movie, right there on set, and you could be the next Zombie star!!! One bite and you’re infected!

NOTE: The Zombie Rum Shots are awesome! So yummy!

The entire park has graffiti painted everywhere but we didn’t pay attention to the warnings and I might be paying the price for it; I’m twitching, drooling and a little hungry every since we got home… but no worries, it’s not for brains, I just need to feed. I have a desire to return to the place where the dead moan for another bite and bang their head on chain link fences but we’ll have to wait til Halloween before we can go back. NO! I don’t know if I can make it. All I have are ten nails to chew on and when they are gone, then what to do? The waiting is killing me!

YOU WERE BORN FREE

 

We the people, who voted for, and continue to pay for (employ) politicians, men and women (not gods) who are supposed to protect our lives, liberties, and pursuits for happiness, are instead paying them to go on vacations. They create expensive programs, twist our laws, and perverse our way of life until we work for what we never asked for and can’t possibly afford; programs these people we hired would never take or pay for themselves. All this and for what end? Power and total control.

When tax paying, military soldiers, hear they might not get their government checks if the government shuts down, but they still have to report to the front line, worrying about their families back home and how they might not be able to put food on the table or pay bills, knowing their political representatives will continue seeing the people’s tax dollars in their bank account even if they go on vacation during the shut down– it makes you get a little upset, doesn’t it?

Shutting down the government shouldn’t be a vacation, it shouldn’t be used as a propaganda device, threatening the people, leaving a deep gash in their memory for future voting venues. Sounds insane? Think again and look what’s going on. For those who depend on Welfare, Social Security checks, Disability checks, Veterans checks, Military and Government checks, that’s exactly what’s going on. People’s lives are being played with as they always have been. The powers up the pyramid don’t give a damn about the turmoil, anguish, or stress they may put any of us, or you, through. In fact, they count on it. Even if each and every check is deposited to every person as planned, the threats they made were enough of a stressor to make people panic; worry a little, be concerned and give pause, make them shake just enough to stop and question: What will I do if my account is empty come the first? How will I feed my children? Can I pay for my medicine? Will my husband survive without his meds? Will I have the money I need to buy the gas so I can get to work? If I don’t get on that bus I’ll miss my job interview and then where will I be… homeless. I need my check.

The government machine has been patient and never ending at pounding down those who wish to live as independent as possible. The simple truth, and reiteration of fact, is the government needs you. It could not survive without you. You are literally it’s bread and butter. An engine cannot run without oil and we, the people, are the oil that keeps the machine going, but the government has worked hard to distract you, make you think you need them to survive. That’s not true. Propaganda has been, and continues to be, used as part of this brainwashing, repetitive technique. The triggering effect is so damaging that you start to believe the lie with every logo, color, and word that is flashed and heard in ever commercial, movie, television, radio, magazine, text message, and even song you’ve heard. This era of communication and technology has rendered us speechless. It’s time to take our voices back.

The people who employ employees have the power to fire whoever they see fit. We the people have a set standard written in a document called The Declaration of Independence that we can base that firing and hiring of employees on. We’ve given so much, too much, of our power over to the politicians. We’ve forgotten what our nation was originally built upon in the first place, Freedom. Until we remember where we came from and why, we’ll never get that Freedom back. Obey nobody and nothing. Are you a human being or a puppet slave? Question everything. Do you want to be a mindless, programable robot? Or do you treasure the ability to think for yourself? Seek truth. Are you fine with wearing blinders or are you willing to see the world for what it truly is, ugly or not? From this point on, we must come together and never give up on what has been ours all along. The first step begins with you.

GIVING IS ITS OWN REWARD

 

A question in the Fiction Writer’s Guild was asked: Some Indie Authors are giving away a novel for free as a way to promote their new work. Is this something you would do? This was my answer.

“It’s not only what I did do, it’s what I continue to do with the first book in my Dark Seeds series. I believe in letting the consumer get a free taste of my work, and as the catch phrase for my first novella says it all, I believe it really does Feed Your Need. For those who don’t have a taste for my SciFi-Horrors seasoned with a bit of Steampunk for flavor, they can always move on without regret. I think most people appreciate this. It’s sad that in this day, where so many people are looking for handouts, something for nothing, and hoarding everything right down to FREE digital books, it does make things harder for the Indie Author to get noticed, but I will continue to offer up my first book, Crows Hill, for FREE as often as Amazon allows me to. Hugh Howey did it with Wool and I like to learn from successful people who believe in integrity. This form of marketing puts the decision and freedom back into the pocket of the consumer. BREAKING THE GLASS

 

EXCERPT FROM THE DARK SEEDS

I felt good. I healed a lifetime of abuse that lingered inside. I was ready to face a new and improved me. It was time to transform this outer shell of a woman I had become, but when I began to lose a substantial amount of weight, something triggered the memories and nightmares to return; I was falling back down the rabbit hole I had worked so hard to climb out of.

I loved how I looked. I had the body I was proud of, but it felt as though my soul was sacrificed in return and over time, I was scared of my reflection. I cowered little by little into the recesses of my mind where my sense of self and independence stayed as it was told to do when I was a child. The programming was set in place, but I thought it had been erased. I was wrong.

I remembered being told fat girls were ugly and worthless, but toned, slender girls were like beautiful, fragile dolls that must be locked up and protected, owned and operated by the handler, taken out to be played with whenever, for whatever purpose, no questions asked. You have no voice. You have no thoughts. Beautiful toys never think for themselves.

It would seem it wouldn’t matter after all this time, after finding the keys to my past and unlocking the doors to the truth locked within my mind, I should finally be free, but this programmed hell created for me was history repeating itself. Would I ever be able to break the glass and fly away?

STOP, LISTEN, RESPECT

IRS TARGETING

 

We’ve been audited twice in our lifetime, once while Clinton was President, and the paperwork just came in a second time today. No, we didn’t vote for Obama either.

Yes, my husband and I are conservative. Yes, we participated in the peaceful Tea Party gathering in Washington D.C. in 2010. Before that year, we were proud republicans but we still voted for any person running, despite party lines, if we felt he or she was most deserving the position. Things have since changed. We don’t cling to any parties at all. It’s clear the political arena has widespread hypocrisy and deception throughout. What used to be for the people and by the people is not anymore. Is there anyone we can truly trust? If so, who and what test can we use so we know? How many lies and double talk must we weed through?

More and more facts reveal just where our tax dollars are going. Conservatives, and other people waking up like us, are being targeted. My husband is an active duty soldier. We don’t have the time, or the money, to hire a professional lawyer to fight the system; we feel helpless and are going to pay $4000 the IRS is stating we owe from 2010. Funny how the IRS is always giving us a refund of about $2000 every year, our income never fluctuates much, still, here we are, owing them $4000!

Buckle up America! There are states and cities going bankrupt. Political fat cats have welfare checks they have to pay to ensure they get their votes and keep their job and royal lifestyle. So wipe your brow, work hard, earn your money while you can, because God only knows how long you’ll be able to keep it. They won’t take it right away because if they wait then they can charge you $556 in fees for filing your taxes incorrectly. They can charge you interest too. The longer they wait, the more money they get from you and the harder it’ll be for you to fight them because the harder it’ll be to find the paperwork to prove them wrong. Not to mention our declining economy. Sooner or later, you may not be able to afford to fight them anyway. You might have to open up a separate savings account for the IRS so when they do coming knocking, you’ll be ready to hand your money over, because we all have to remember, the IRS has its own problems and as far as it’s concerned, their problems are yours. Sooner or later, until the IRS gets audited, the time will come for you to pay up again… and again.

SOLD FOR 50 CENTS

Imagine the power a person, part of a dark organization, would have over you if they controlled your life by controlling your mind; giving their reworked version of reality as the truth and fed it to you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Sounds like brain washing doesn’t it? But that doesn’t exist anymore… right? Well, it’s not supposed to. It’s really called programming and what started in the CIA back in the 1950′s fractured into many different, new forms of human re-programing, many of which programmers still use to this day. Yes, these controllers still exist. Some are called “handlers”. Mayilyn had one. They are part of something much bigger than what we realize, going well beyond the entertainment industry to include the government and political arenas. They have international ties and, as always, money is never an issue. Some of the most powerful men in the world quietly sit at the top, like an all seeing eye, but they are still nothing more than human scriptwriters and directors, producing whatever fantasy they want their pawns to believe in. It’s always about control. Their tricks filter down the pyramid until they seep into your daily life, taking over without you ever realizing it. For those without direct handlers, there are the people dictating the moves like pieces on the chess board to achieve The Agenda.

Welcome to slavery. You are one in-a-million of puppets, locked in your mind that they control. Even as you read this you might think this is ludicrous, but can you prove I’m wrong? When you are an expendable pawn, and no longer a priceless commodity, guess what happens? It does not matter what you believe because if this is what others in power believe in then guess what? You’re history. This isn’t the matrix so don’t expect a magic pill to get out. The key is to turn off the television, click off the media, and start thinking for yourself. Do your own research, mix in a bit of common sense with a dash of morality, because the sooner you do, the sooner you’ll start to see what’s really going on around you. Secrets are always hidden in plain sight. Those with eyes to see will notice the patterns. There is nothing wrong with being prepared, learning things for yourself instead of being told what to believe, and taking the harder road in life. That’s right, don’t take my word for it, do your own homework! Forget the wonder and magic of stardom, leave the trumped up glory and promises of instant gratification and money behind. Unless you don’t care about your soul, plan on living life the good ‘ole fashion way and you’ll be stronger for it. JUDGEMENT CALLS

My heart goes out to Trevon’s parents and the loss of their son. My heart also goes out to Zimmerman and his family because even though I feel he justifiably won this case via a fair jury, he now must face an unknown number of people who will judge him and do God only knows what to him despite the verdict of Not Guilty.

Judgements, opinions, and assumptions were made from the beginning, even by some of the biggest names in our nation and our world without so much as giving a second thought to respecting the facts and the truth of what really happened, and hearing the reality of that terrible, fateful night first.

Shame on any leader who did not encourage peace and did not call for the justice system to work as it should. Shame on any leader who saw this tragedy as an opportunity as a political opportunity. No matter how you look at it, Trevon didn’t flee from the guy following him and confronted Zimmerman. Despite everything, I hope Trevon’s family and the Zimmerman’s can come together and turn this into a lesson, start teaching children everywhere what can happen when bad choices are made.

Teach them about what to do when faced with similar situations if you think someone is following you, what to do if you think someone is in your neighborhood and up to no good and doesn’t belong there. Tell them the truth and turn this tragedy into a learning experience so it won’t ever happen again. I wish this had been the message our leaders had given… perhaps they still will. I pray they do.
