HEAD OVER HEELS – Photo Inspired Flash Fiction
Tammy felt the smallest shift beneath her feet and looked over at her boyfriend. He was painfully unaware; hands in his pockets, staring off into the open distance like a child. Tammy froze. “We shouldn’t have done this.” She tried not to look down but, other than the heavens above, the long drop below was all that was left. “Clarence… please, snap out of it.” Her voice hit a sharp, desperate note. “We have to get off this rock.”
Without blinking, Clarence took his girlfriend’s hand and tightened his grip until she grimaced. “This is our time Tam… all true love should end this way.”

Once an archangel, Lucifer was cast out from heaven for leading a revolt of angels against God. After his fall, he was locked deep within the lower kingdoms of hell by Archangel Michael. Luciferians worship their “morning star” and for some, he is the “good part” to Satan’s “evil side”. But in the 13 Degrees Below Zero volume, I set aside the dictionary and show the many names and faces of Satan, the once angelic creature that has only one, hell raising agenda.
