"I'm not going to kill anyone."

Wherein Jack got a baby adopted.
As some of you know, I work at a daycare. Today I was outside with the kids when my co-workers brought the babies out to sit in the sun. One of the babies has a sister in the Toddler room. (I will call the toddler Sarah for the sake of not revealing her real name but making it less confusing and her baby sister Lucy.) Sarah wanted to see Lucy, there is a fence between the two yards, but I lifted her up and my co-worker held Lucy and Sarah gave her a hug. After Sarah went to play my sweet little friend, I will call her Ally, came over and asked to see the babies so I picked her up. My co-worker hadn't set Lucy back down so Ally was smiling at her, and I told her that she was Sarah's baby.  Ally stared at Lucy and then pointed to another baby sitting on the grass, and said, "I want that one."
And that is why my job is fun.

"We haven't met yet, I'm Clint." "I don't care."

Today I am on Christi's blog, HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to add something. I've sat here for half an hour trying to remember what and all I can think about is how I want to read Peter Pan. So you're out of luck, but I'm sure it was something fabulous.

"You've got courage, kid. Where are you from?" "Queens."

This is late. I am sorry. There was work, and last night I hid in bed under my warm blankets.
Today I am over at Melody's blog, HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a nice and relaxing weekend, and since this week is unlikely to be as insane as last week I feel more able to conquer the world, or in the very least some beta reading I've signed up for. Leave it to me to get a pile of beta reads when I have ten other things going on all at once.
 And here is the song.

That is all. I have one more adult thing to do today and then I should be DONE, hopefully.

"We're still friends, right?" "Depends on how hard you hit me."

I can't believe I am this worn out. I blame the stupid adult stuff I had to do this week. Thankfully a bird decided to hammer into the side of my flat to build a nest and I had to chase him off with a broom, so he kept things interesting.
I also found out that some of you are actually counting down to the book's release date. I might have giggled and blushed and nervously curled up into a nervous little cat ball. I'm both flattered and on edge that all the count down will just be a disappointment because the book won't be what everyone is expecting. Hopefully this is a normal feeling and I shall drown it in tea.
I have two things going on today. One is the post to the next stop in my book tour, along with another song, and the second is the book tour I have joined in. (For those who don't know, but should, Jaye L. Knight is releasing book three of her Ilyon Chronicles and I had the chance to read it. I will therefore be sharing my review.)

Also note I fixed up the giveaway. There are now two separate giveaways and I added another way to enter.
Today's post is on my WWII friend Emily's blog, HERE!!!
 And the song....

And now, for the book review.

I always have trouble reviewing books in a series because I don't want to give spoilers away. But this one I think I can safely say some things about because those who know about the books have an idea of what is coming.
This book takes place sometime, about a year I think, after book two. The little hidden camp of followers of Elom has grown. They are starting to make a life for themselves and things are going fairly well, but trouble always lurks hidden away.
After all of his struggles, Jace is starting to feel as if he belongs with his new friends but something is still holding him back. His fear he might not have a soul weighs on his mind, and after a tragedy that weight grows until it nearly crushes him.
Other things worry him, such as new feelings he can't explain and a possible hope for the future. A future Jace didn't think he could ever have.
Other trouble brews as well. An invasion and a plan to stop it take a small group back into great danger and battle, and again they face impossible odds.
I can't say enough how much I love this series. It feels fantasy but still with enough of a historical feel that I sometimes wonder if I'm making reading about ancient Rome. Jaye is a masterful story teller and the world she has woven comes to life off the page.
The best part for me is her characters. There are a lot in this series but they all feel so real. I love each of them, well most of them, in their own way and can't wait to spend even more books with them.
This book had a lot of surprises, but also a lot of pleasant things which happened. And not so nice things. It left me with a burning need for book four though. I MUST have questions answered!
Be sure and check out Jaye's blog HERE for even more wonderful things and a peak at the first two books!!

And that is all I have for tonight. I had my tea. I got all the posts done I could. I reviewed. I made a daddy bird angry. All in all a good evening.
My bed is calling. I can hear it. "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK." Gotta answer.
 Night

"You couldn't have done that earlier?" "I hate you."

First, I am so sorry about these posts. My first week of the book tour and I've been so busy and tried by the time I have a chance to post I can barely keep my eyes opened.
Second, I don't have things to do tomorrow evening so I WILL be getting the last of the posts out to all of you and will be doing a more thorough post here. Something with...more depth.
Third, I am once again so worn out tonight I just want to go to sleep. So, here we go again.
Today's post is over at Amanda's blog, HERE! And you get double, a post from her and a book review.

While I haven't actually found a song which fits, Japhet, like I've found one with Franz, so far this has come the closest.
 Quote is from Civil War.
 Good night

"The bird costume." "Costume, really?"

Today I am over at Rawl's blog, HERE!!!!
Another late night. I am here and then I am to bed. Because that is how this week is going. BUT....I HOPE ALL OF YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING FUN THIS FAR!
This is Franz's song.
Now I am going to sleep.
 Another Civil War quote.

"Can you move your seat forward?" "No."

As you can tell, I put these posts up the night before. But that is because I don't want to get out of bed at six to post them before work. Call it spring, but in the mountains it is still cold then and my bed is warm.
Today I am over at Skye's blog HERE!!! with a character interview. It has both Franz and Japhet, so double the fun and pain and all that.

Another Civil War quote. It's going to be a thing until I can't remember new ones.
I had a long day so I'm off to bed. Night.

"You have a metal arm?! That is so cool!"

Today I am over at Abbey's blog, which can be found HERE!

And I leave you with this song,

I have to fix it up a bit, but comments on the blogs joining in the tour count for the giveaway section part of a blog comment.
Quote is from Civil War. I won't share who said it or when for the sake of spoilers, but yes, I saw it. And I plan to review it soon.

"Is that my wife and unborn child in there?!"

 Let it begin.

I'm not ready for this. I wasn't expecting it yet, I hadn't heard much until all the sudden it was time.
 BUT....it is time.
At long last, I have a release date for my book! I have a book tour set up online.
 This.
 Is.
 Happening.

My tour will be running from May 9th to May 30th with weekends off. I have the bloggers all ready and am working out last minute details.
This is one of those details, and an idea of what you can expect.
Over the next two weeks I will be posting links of which blogs I will be visiting that day. I'll also leave behind one of the songs from my Brothers-in-Arms playlist and maybe even share pictures on my story board which have inspired the book.
I will also be holding a giveaway, which can be found on my sidebar.
I'm also taking part in a couple tours myself this month so those posts will be appearing as well.
Are all of your ready for this? Good, because I don't know if I am or not.
But this, I am ready to announce this.

Brothers-in-Arms will be released upon the helpless world on.....
 MAY
 31ST.
It still feels like a while to me, but it is much sooner than when I first started!
 It is time!
I hope you're ready to join in the tour.
 I'll see you all tomorrow.

"I'm not a doctor, Jim! I mean I am but not that kind of doctor..."

Wednesday rudely passed me by without permission.
 Rude.
But I did get to watch The Force Awakens again, so I am glad it gave me time for that.
This is Wednesday and Fridays post.
I found out I don't handle stress well so I am running away from home this weekend and hiding out at my friend's house for a bit. Because how else does one handle stress?
I have been busy this week though. Maybe not the typical way one keeps busy...but I have been.
I bought a lock and have been trying to learn to pick it with a bobby pin. Have I made progress? No, but I am going to get it.
I've been trying to get the Blog Party for my book underway. I'm cruddy at that kind of thing. I don't have the brain skill for arranging it and I'll be glad when it is all set up.
I went to the doctor for a check up. This involved sitting awkwardly in the waiting room and sneakily watching the kid's show that was on. After that I awkwardly sat on the examine table and swung my legs. Then I awkwardly answered questions, got ear drops to get the wax out of my ears - gross I know - and then sent home. I have to go back because I'm a girl and I guess girl's need extra tests, and I can hear better now....but over all, doctors aren't fun to visit and this is why I fight so hard to keep extremely healthy.
I finally got my hands on a good book...which I've again devoured.
Harrison Ford has betrayed my tiny trust, because APPARENTLY he's the reason for my Star Wars pain. (Those who have seen it know. Yes, I just found out he asked for that scene to happen. Rude.)
I bought a taser because I go so many places on my own. You have no idea how badly I want to test it...
I'm almost out of tea. *Panic*
I tried to jump in a puddle today but THERE ARE NONE BY MY FLAT! I am so disappointed.
I want to read through my book again. Mostly because I want to just read it without having to check for editing mistakes.
I think I have a paranoia about something bad happening to me. It hit me the other day how much thought and work I put into surviving an airplane crash, a cave in, a break in, a kidnapping, and who knows what else.
Now I have to go. I have to get some posts done for the Blog Tour. And I will be back to let you know dates, because I guess it is happening NOW.
