"My peanut butter has the same expatriation date as my jelly. I can't help but think it is some kind of twisted love story."
I almost didn't post because I couldn't find my wrist brace and for some reason my hand has decided tonight that it doesn't want to work. But I found it, so you get words of wisdom from me. Or possibly ramblings from Nat as she runs across my keyboard. (She and Dog are starting to chum up, and now I feel bad for giving Dog such a sad nickname. I am open for new nickname suggestions. Because in real life she has a brilliant name. Or, I could nickname Nat Kitty on here. So, vote away with suggestions. Because nicknames are a thing on this blog I guess.)
As you know, I was gone most of last week. I needed some time alone so I took off work and pretended to run away from home. It was rather nice and I need to do it properly later this summer. I also came home to a Nat who was convinced Dog and I were never returning and had left her an orphan.
I don't really know what song to do for today. I could do more Brothers-in-Arms songs but I'm feeling daunted by being an actual published Author and am not sure what to do now that my book has been released. (Except hide in my flat and not come out since people I know in person are planning to read it.)
So here, have a Doctor Who song and go eat some jammy dodgers.
I leave you with an Iron Man quote. There might be a misspelling in it, but I can't be sure.

"We haven't met yet. I'm Clint." "I don't care."
This is happening!!!
One day to go!!!!
I can't believe it is happening!
May has been a crazy month for me. It flashed by while dragging at the same time. I can't believe it is gone, and the 31st is here. With my book releasing onto the world.
Today I have the last of the book tour posts. I will do a post on the 31st to celebrate the release, but after that for the rest of the week I will not be online. I need some time alone, as June is going to be hard. (This month has already gotten hard but I've been able to keep busy.) I plan to do as much as I can the first of June to rest a little.
Today I am at MJ's blog, HERE!!!!!!! with a final character post.
For the 31st I am trying to think of something extra fun to do, but if there is anything all of you would like let me know in the comments. (Have a question you want answered? Want to know a spoiler (hahahaha)? Want some of the special ice cream I bought? Let me know and I will try and fulfill your wish.)
Now if you will pardon me, Nat seems to think she is a parrot so I must go and help her learn a new cat skill so she will keep off my shoulder.

"Who is that?" "I don't know, everyone has a gig now."
I have no fun story today. It wasn't that it was a horrible day. I got some things done which needed done before next week. I baked cookies. I found it is far more fun than I ever dreamed to pour baking soda and vinegar down my drain...
But over all...it wasn't that eventful of a day.
Two more blogs to visit, and then release day. I am getting more and more nervous the closer it gets to the 31st. Partly because I have friends who know me by my real name and who want my book. That's a lot of people to explain the Jack story to.
Today I am over at my kindred spirit, Jenelle's, blog HERE!!!!!!!!!
And I leave for you the song which reminds me of Caleb and Annie Webber.
Now I am going to bed because I am really tired and things are happening tomorrow. (Then next week, I am being a hermit.)
Good night.

"Your mom's name was Sarah. You used to wear newspapers in your shoes." "So, just like that we're supposed to be good?"
Wherein a fur ball invaded Jack's flat.
The fur ball is very likely a girl, but just in case she has a name which can belong to a boy or a girl. I don't trust myself with animal genders and didn't want her to be scarred for life if she turns out to be a he and had a name like Susan.
Why did I get a fur ball? I don't know. I love pets, I saw a picture of her, and obviously thought I needed a little ball of wild energy to run across my key board and attack my hair.
So....may I present to you, Nat.
She didn't want her picture taken. She wanted to climb in my hair and whine about how I had left her home all day with Dog.
It is easier to get pictures when she is asleep.
The little invader who is about the size of my hand but has enough personality for an elephant. She and Dog think they are enemies but I can tell they are warming up to each other.
(Nat is short for Natasha. At least for right now. If she is in fact a he it will be short for Nathaniel.) Did I possibly name her after a tiny Russian assassin? Yes. Why you might ask? Come visit me and you will see. Even if she is a Nathaniel, the tiny assassin thing fits.
Okay, moving on.
Today I am over at Jaye's blog, HERE!!!!!!!!!! And I am spotlighting the one character I've ever written who I cannot stand in any way or form.
And the song. I have two, because I feel like they have to go together.
Good night

"So, you like cats?" "Sam..." "What? Dude shows up dressed like a car and you don't wanna know more?"
Two things today.
I am taking part in Mirriam Neal's blog tour celebrating the release of her newest book, Paper Crowns!
Amazing cover, right?!
Paper Crowns synopsis: Ginger has lived in seclusion, with only her aunt Malgarel and her blue cat, Halcyon, to keep her company. Her sheltered, idyllic life is turned upside-down when her home is attacked by messengers from the world of fae. Accompanied by Halcyon (who may or may not be more than just a cat), an irascible wysling named Azrael, and a loyal fire elemental named Salazar, Ginger ventures into the world of fae to bring a ruthless Queen to justice.

"Who's speaking?" "It's your conscience. We don't talk a lot these days."
Wherein Jack is going to share a review of Civil War.
But first, today I am on Kendra's blog, HERE!!!!!!!! I will be talking about Jimmy, the American pilot. So you might want to nip over because he likes attention.
Now, my review. Spoiler free. I shall give you the details of what Civil War is really about.
FRIENDSHIP.
Here we go.
Steve and Tony. Tony: "Code, I don't need you." Steve: "Code I'll just pack my thing and go!" *Picks up Bucky and carries him off.*
Where to begin.
Hmm...
What it means to be friends with Tony. A FREE IRON MAN SUIT! Also you can hang out at his super rise house but don't you dare drink his coffee or play with his cool stuff.
What it means to be friends with Steve: Getting shot at. Punched. Having to run for your life, likely go under cover. Getting shot at some more.
Sam: Ha! No one but Steve gets to be Sam's friend! The rest of you he will judge depending on how you treat Steve and if you've ever used him for a kite and stolen his steering wheel.
Bucky: *Angry Soviet Noises.* Bucky doesn't want to be your friend. He just wants to be left alone to eat his chocolate and plums. But if you ask nicely he might open the pickle jar for you.
Natasha: Being sassed at a lot and likely shocked because it doesn't matter how close of a friend she considers you, she just likes zapping people with her little shocky things.
Scott Lang: He will probably show up on your doorstep Saturday mornings in the hopes you will give him pancakes. Oh yes, and don't forget to feed his army of ants.
Peter Parker: Better keep a pair of ear plugs with you at all times.
Wanda: Just...don't make her mad.
Black Panther: Be careful when you shake his hand. And don't insult cats when he's around.
Clint: Free eggs. He will also whine and complain a lot and demand you feed him. And if you're not nice to him he will shoot you with nerf arrows.

"I'll put you on hold, I like to watch the light blink."
Last week of my book tour!!
I'd do some sappy post tonight but I have Dog on my feet mad about the little fur ball snuggled in my bed....don't worry, that is going to turn into a blog post soon enough. Just not when I'm awkwardly pinned.
Today I am at Christine's blog HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the song I leave for you is....
I saw Civil War again this weekend, so I have a refresher on quotes which is good because I was running out of them.

Seriously, be impressed I can still remember Civil War quotes.
