Back from GRL!

I had a great time and met some amazing people. I cannot wait to see familiar faces and all new ones next year in Atlanta for GRL 2013. Today was my first day as a full time author and the book I'm co-writing with Tabatha Heart hit 40k words so its nearly ready to submit and I'm very excited about that. Also, I picked out cover models for two new covers. One was Lions in the Candlelight, the sequel to Taming the Lion Tamer, which comes out in February and then for the first book in my new HET series that I will be starting next year.

GayRomLit!

After a nice long drive, Autumn Heart and I arrived in Albuquerque. We stopped in Colorado City, Trinidad,  Santa Fe and then we arrived here at the Hard Rock Hotel. Yes, it was a long drive but I was absolutely loving it. Beautiful fall leaves, no one around since we left at 5:30 this morning and my favorite part of any drive- getting to see the sunrise.

There is a great vegan restaurant nearby. Well, as nearby as anything is to this hotel. Picture the middle of nowhere, at least 10 minutes from anything but a gas station, and you'd have this hotel. But anyway... Fei's Cafe is so great. Autumn and I ordered eleven small items from the menu and we spent under thirty dollars. And it was crazy good, in the way that I wanted to freeze everything they had in the restuarant and take it back home with me to feast from for months on end.

I really hope that we get a chance to go back. And more importantly, I cannot wait to meet everyone officially tomorrow.

All or Nothing is out

All or Nothing is now out and can be purchased here through Silver Publishing. This book was a challenge for me and was a great way to push myself to try new things, particularly writing a menage relationship. I had fun writing these three and I hope you enjoy it.

My friend Vona Logan has a new book!

Return to Destiny (Moments in Time 1) by Vona Logan

[image error] Dream visitations and déjà vu bring Wade Summers and Michael Turner together on a non-corporeal plane. Now they have to figure out how to bridge the gap between 2012 and 2022 to make their relationship a reality.

Wade Summers is a decent guy who happens to have a ghost taking advantage of his body at will. His attempts to escape it have failed, and despite their unorthodox nature, he enjoys the visitations far too much to complain. His body gets sated, but his soul longs for his enigmatic lover.

In 2022, erotic dreams and déjà vu of a gorgeous man are driving Michael Turner insane. A strange old man convinces him he let Mr Right slip through his fingers. Michael desperately tries to figure out at what point he missed getting the man of his dreams and will stop at nothing to return to his destiny.

Buy it Here through Silver Publishing

Please go check out this book!

Fall

I love this time of year. In fact, it's probably my favorite. Though late spring is a close second. What gets me are the changing leaves, the cooler weather and having hot tea throughout the day. I've changed my blog a bit today to reflect the season around me.

Also, my good friend Autumn Heart managed to do something pretty great with my Bookshelf page above. Please go check it out. She figured out how to add tables. I think it looks a lot neater and far more organized now. So a big thanks goes out to Autumn for taking the time and putting in the effort to do that for me. I'm sure it was tough and I owe you.

All or Nothing  comes out this Saturday. It is my first M/M/M release and I haven't yet decided if there will be more books like it in my future. Keeping that many men happy all at once is tough work.

I have some big changes coming in my personal life as well this week. Sunday will be my last day at the day job. Though I generally love my work, I haven't enjoyed this company in many months and so it was time for a change. Amazingly enough that change will come in the form of me starting down my path as a full time writer as soon as I get back from GayRomLit. I'm nervous, anxious and a bit scared. But I have the support of my fiance here to back me up and my best friend nearby to keep me going. They both make this dream possible.

I can't wait to see you all at GRL. This will be my first time there.  Autumn and I went through the schedule today and picked out the things we most wanted to do. There are a lot! It should be an amazing few days. I just need to get through the next week and then I'm off to Albuquerque.

Please welcome J.L. Oiler!

Interview with JL Oiler
Tell the readers about your main character Carina…

She is the daughter of the lord of South Hedonism, a fact she is not always thrilled about. Of course being part Vampire and part Succubus would be difficult no matter who your father was. She is a product of her environment and thrives for the next sexual conquest while searching for the ultimate satisfaction. Carina is also a spectacular fighter and enjoys laying waste to anyone she sees as being in the way of her satisfying her appetite for indulgence. When she meets up with the human brothers who have unwittingly adventured their way into deep trouble things really heat up.

How did Glimpses of Midnight Happen?

I received an email from the Staff at Rebel Ink Press explaining they’d come up with an idea for a cooperative paranormal series between myself and Suzzana C. Ryan. They provide this sort of vague mini blurb and left it our capable hands from there. Everything from the characters, subgenre’s, locations, and heat levels were left up to the two of us.

Will we be seeing more from this series?

Certainly, both me and Suzzana are currently working on the next installments of the series which we are hoping to release in December!

Glimpses of Midnight: Indulgence
Blurb
Carina Bellefleur is the only daughter of the dark lord of South Hedonism, Cyrus Bellefleur. Belonging to a city of Indulgence and decadence has its privileges but the half vampire half succubus is having a difficult time finding someone, or better yet more than just one someone, who can help her reach that ultimate orgasm. When a pair of human males are caught just outside the city walls the subject of the dark city desire nothing more than their immediate death. Carina however sees something special in the pair of well-endowed males.

Evan and Eric are the ultimate urban adventures. Therefore, when they hear rumors of a city hidden beneath their own beloved New York they cannot help themselves, they have to try to find it. Now as prisoners among creature they would never in their wildest dreams believed existed the pair of brothers find their fate lay in the hands of the cities sexy princess.

They discover survival depends on provide Carina with the ultimate in sexual satisfaction before her father discovers humans within the walls of his city in exchange the feisty woman might lead them back topside. There is however a catch, what if they really don’t want to go or she doesn’t want to let them?

Great new review for Taming the Lion Tamer

Hearts on Fire Reviews gave Taming the Lion Tamer a 4/5!

Thank You :)

Here's a snippet of the review which can be found here-

"Quinn is hired to bring Aseem, his Asiatic lion cub, to an animation studio for the artists to draw. Charlie is an artist at the studio who is very sweet but a bit socially inept. This is story of insta-love, of which I am not normally a fan, but it works here. Their attraction is immediate and both men are just so sweet and likable that I couldn't help but love this story..."

It's been a while

Sorry for the delay. I can honestly say I've been busy between writing, editing, work and getting ready for GayRomLit next month. But I do have some news to share with you all!

The Armchair Reader gave Marked by Grief a rating of Really Like it. Their rating system is a little different than others since it's out of 6 instead of the more often 5. So the Really Like It rating is a 5 out of 6. I've so glad they enjoyed it and I can't wait to meet Cole and the rest of the team next month.

In further news, Man's Best Friend- Pine Hollow Wolves 3, is set to come out April 13. I know! That's a long time from now. But book 2, Pack Business, is finishing up edits right now and will be out in January.

Enjoy!

Events page

I've added a new page at the top there. It's for events like blog hops, guest blogging, contests and the events that I'll be going to. Like how I'll be at GRL this year :). So if you're there too, come find me and say hi. I'll be a reader this year and going as an author next year.
