Happy May updates!
How are you guys doing? Have you thawed out? Or in my case here in California, prepping for a long very hot summer. This month is going to by a busy month. I am hoping to release Seeing Stars my very first contemporary romance.
Blurb:
Alisa, bank clerk by day self published writer by night, gets a phone call that will change her life. Hollywood wants to make one of her books into a movie. The news comes on the day she starts vacation, excited, she leaves work early to surprise her husband. To her surprise he is already home, and well even more surprising he is sexing up the neighbor in their bed.
Heartbroken and angry she makes a decision to head off to Hollywood on her own. Before the meeting she meets her TV crush Logan Rider. Logan has not only read her book Portals, but he wants to direct the movie. The offer is almost too good to be true! Alisa is thrown into a whirlwind of Hollywood as she sees stars, learns the movie business, and uncovers a few secrets. Secrets that prove stars are just as flawed as regular people. But there is one secret that can destroy Logan’s career. Will Logan be devoured by this secret, or can he find the strength to conquer it with Alisa’s help?
I am still working on the blurb. I will also be helping with some releases from Evolution Press, including mine, Jennifer Brown’s Mystery book might be out towards the end of the month, and coming soon we will have a kids book coming out. I will share more info on that as we get closer to releasing the book.
Update on the Opposite Side. Blood Father the second book is moving along. I am pushing for a July release, fingers crossed anyway. Playing with Magic will also be coming out this summer, which I am really shooting for an August release. I also have plans to release Island of the Zombie King, its going to be a bit bizarre fiction, erotic, horror, weirdness mixed all together. I am experimenting. That is about it on updates for now. I will have a cover reveal coming soon for Seeing Stars, say stay tuned!!

Moan Monday! Playing with Magic!
“Not hungry?” Rowan asked as he and River sat at the table with Autumn.
“I’m a little nauseated.” She looked down at the great pasta dinner he had created. “I’m sorry, it looks great though.”
“Worried,” River said eating a bite of the homemade pasta. He closed his eyes. “Mmm. Rowan you are amazing.”
Rowan bent over and kissed him. “Thanks babe.”
Autumn sat watching them. “I just can’t think of us being apart.”
River took another bite as Rowan took his bowl. “Wait no,” he said in small voice.
“It’s okay we can finish later,” Hr grabbed Autumn’s bowl and put it on the counter. He came back to her and grabbed her hand pulling her to her feet. He kissed her long and deep. Pressing her back on the table. He looked over at River. “Let’s have desert first.”
Rowan slowly undressed Autumn. Raining kisses on the flesh he uncovered. He turned her around so she face the table, he used his hand on her back to bend her forward. She said nothing but did as he instructed. He removed her pants and then her panties. He kissed her back as he got on his knees.

The Great Review Beasty
As a writer we love everything we do. They are ours. We have put as much love and caring in as we can before we ship it out to the world. Really they are our babies. One of the downfalls of putting our work out there for the world to see is that not everyone is going to like it. Sometimes we get amazing reviews, some are okay, some are critical, some are bad, and then there are some that are just plain mean.
We strive for amazing, knowing that for each amazing there with be some bad. I have had ones that were three stars but pinpointed why-not long enough to the formatting sucked (thanks to a publisher who took our money and didn’t care about what they were putting out). Those are great, those are ones that yes I could fix the formatting, and I did. Now there are the ones that are under it. 2 stars based on the sample, really?!? 2 stars because said person did not possibly understand that the book was a work of FANTASY. And then there are those 2 to 1 stars without anything at all.
As a reviewer myself when I go into a book, I am looking for the good qualities. And I try to stick with things I like. I don’t enjoy vampires very much, so usually it has to be a different take on a vampire book to get me to read. I recently read one which had vampire rock stars. That was different. Sometimes when people get books and rate them so low, it makes me wonder did they not read what the book was about? Even if it is free I read the blurb, and I do read some reviews because they tell a little more about the book if the blurb is not good enough.
To me read the books you enjoy. If you don’t like fantasy books don’t read fantasy books. Or at least go into a book genre knowing what you might be in for.

Healing Hark Blog Tour!
*darts into the room* “Quick, Ms. Ellie. You gotta hide me!” *looks around wildly for absent host* “Shit! There’s going to be a scalping if that brute gets ahold of me.”
“If who gets a hold of you, muse?”
*spins* “Ah hell.” Backs away from the slender Japanese master from Dakota’s new release Healing Hark. “Master Rai. I wasn’t expecting you.”
“Obviously.” Diachi straightens and moves closer to the leather clad muse. “Dare I ask what you did to piss off my Hark?”
*chews on lower lip* “What makes you think I did anything. I was just pimping out Dakota’s newest book like I was told. How was I to know he’d take it personally?”
Diachi arches a brow. “Take what personally?”
“Her damned mouth.” Hark stalks into the room. “Not only is she a mouthy little muse, she’s also a damned thief. I caught her sneaking back into the last stop to steal some of the goodies Bryan left behind for them.”
“Duh? Double Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes?” *rolls eyes* “What did you expect? Not even a spanking from you is enough to dissuade me from swiping one or five. Besides it’s the golden rule: thou shall not come between a muse and her glorious chocolate.”
Hark stared hard. “Glorious chocolate? Woman, you’re lucky I didn’t rat your thieving ass out to Dakota. She’s pull you out of here so fast your little head would spin.”
“But she loves me. And knows I need chocolate. It’s one of the five musely food groups.”
“Musely food groups?” Diachi cocked his head at her – as if he’d never heard such a thing.
“Yep.” *holds up fingers* “Chocolate, sexy lingerie, including corsets, hunky men, decadent sex toys and authorly type frustration.”
“Dear lord – your…there’s no words.” Diachi covered his eyes. “You know what, Ms. Livvy? I thought about saving your ass, but now?” He caught Hark’s gaze. “Have at her, koibito. Just make sure she’s in one piece for the next stop.”
“No!” *tries to run* “Umph….”
After watching his sub (switch) cart off the screaming muse, Diachi turned back to the crowd. “Okay, sorry about that. There are times that little tyrant needs to be taken in hand. For those of you who’ve managed to follow the tour so far, Dakota is giving away another book from the Doms of Chicago Series. For this stop it is…” He glanced down at the paper in his hand. “The fifth book in the series – Saving Micah. So just leave a comment below with your email addy to be entered to win.”
Pulls out a five pound chocolate bar. “And this is for Ms. Ellie’s frustration. Thank you for having us today.” Moves to leave, then snaps fingers. “Crap, the grand prize. See the meme card below? There is a number on the lower right hand corner. Enter it in the rafflecopter form below for a chance to win the complete set – book 1 thru 8 of the Doms of Chicago. Dakota will be drawing the winner at the WRAP-UP Party on the 25th.” Studies the card and shakes head. “That is soo my Hark…”
Author note:
Thanks to the lovely Ms. Ellie for allowing my crazy muse to stop by with her usual antics. For those who are interested…below is a blurb and buy links for Healing Hark which was released on Friday. And don’t forget to stop by Sexy Erotic Xciting Reviews tomorrow for another chance to enter for the grand prize drawing.
Blurb:
Can their love survive healing him?
Despite being in a long-term relationship with his Master and lover, Diachi Rai, CEO Bryan Sterling is feeling restless, and it all has to do with his Master’s former submissive. Ever since Harkalone “Hark” Akula entered their home, Bryan’s life has been turned upside down. He’s acting out, standing up to his master – even courting punishment. All because of his need to help Hark.
Diachi is a man of many secrets, and Hark happens to be one of his darkest. As his first submissive, Hark was partially responsible for molding him into the powerful but discerning Dom he’s become. But when he was unable to give Hark what he needed, Diachi let Hark go, rather than share him. Now Hark is back, scarred and darker than Diachi could ever remember him being, and in dire need of a healing touch.
Hark is at the end of his tether. After losing his family: his Dom, their submissive and child along with his home, all he wants is to be left alone, not dropped in his former master’s lap like a child. But now that he’s there, he’s not only tempted by Diachi and Bryan, he’s also being drawn into their world. The question now, is will he be able to stay?

Word Count: approx. 81,000
Genre: Horror, Dark Fantasy, Apocalyptic

The Order of The Sentinels.

The Order of The Writs.
The Order of The Cloth.
Angels.
Demon.
In the foothills of Mt. Empyreal the most powerful forces in the world are drawn into combat.
And the fate of all the world hangs in the balance.
Excerpt from The End is Now by Connor Titus:
For hours, she drove in silence, enjoying the beauty of the wintry landscape that seemed somehow amplified in the quiet of a planet without the noise of technology. The rumble of the engine against the backdrop of the stillness lured Khrystle into a state of calmness that she had never before achieved, but when the abomination wrapped its tail around her wrist, she was jerked back to reality by the sounds of her own screaming.
She slid to a screeching stop and jumped from the ATV. After a deep breath, she put the demonic spawn back in the cargo space and picked up her shotgun for comfort.
The reprieve was short-lived.
It was a military plane, a fighter jet, and its silent descent from the sky was nothing short of memorizing. There was an earth-shattering explosion. Moments later, she was blasted off her feet by the hot wind.
Standing, she watched the black smoke climb into the bright sky. How long she stood staring, she couldn’t remember, but after a while, she straddled the vehicle and started the engine.
It had taken her two days to reach the …
… Devastation.
It took Khrystle a moment to realize that the dissemination before her was the result of the fighter jet slamming into an Amtrak.
The sickly sweet, acrid smell that seared her throat was so strong she could actually taste it. When it donned on her that it was the smell of burning flesh, she fell to her knees and soiled the pristine snow as her body violently emptied the meager contents of her stomach.
At that moment, she couldn’t remember a prayer, so she wept instead.
The dog’s growling was barely heard above the girl’s sobbing, but was loud enough to cease her tears.
Rising from the basin with the black smoke and red-orange flame was a man. She stood as she watched him stumble, fall, and struggle to his feet, only to fall again.
Blood poured from beneath his hair to fall across his swollen face like a cascade. The purple bruising around his right eye had caused it to close; his left eye stared at nothing.
The threads of his charred pants billowed in the winter breeze, exposing muscle and bone from the rip in flesh above his right knee. Second and third degree burns covered his skin and a book was clutched within his blistering arms.
How was it, she asked herself, that this man would be able to walk away from a train wreck?
When he was mere feet from Khrystle, he collapsed. She ran to him. Kneeling, she unzipped her duffle bag, but was distracted as she reached in for her medical kit.
It was a feather, a large black feather from a crow. She looked up in time to watch the black bird land on the power line. Before she had the time to look away, another bird landed.
And then another, and yet another.
In just minutes hundreds of crows were assembled judiciously above her.
Their silence was alarming.
She dragged her attention from the birds to the man who lay injured. That simple act caused her vision to blacken along the edges.
Her question was answered when she saw the book he clutched. The storm that surged across her mind was as forceful and devastating as a category five hurricane, leaving debilitating fear and biting goose bumps in its wake.
… And through the dark, he will come to shield the book.
The embossing on the book was written in Aramaic, but she knew what it said anyway.
This is the Book of the First.

Excerpt for The Guardians of Man:
And through the dark, he will come to shield the book.
Jessica heard the words as if they came to her from some faraway place, but she was very sure of what was being said. Despite the fact that the words were not English, some primal instinct made the words as clear as her mother tongue.
In the dream, she was outside in the snow. From a mountain top she looked down and saw the town below. Part was lost in smoke and ashes. She could make out movement in the streets. Black crows rose in the air, unfettered by the acid snow that fell upon them.

Review
I loved this book. I have already recommended this book to others. Terra is a wonderful character. She has to grow up in a society that looks down on females, she does go through so much, and then her leaving her village she knows she probably will not survive. And she goes through a lot for being a 15 year old girl. This makes an epic post apocalyptic YA read which any adult who likes these genres would enjoy. I am so looking forward to the next book!
