Quick links in full are as follows:

Amazon

Apple

B&N

Google Play

This is for a short time only so grab it while it’s cheap!

(please note that some stores such as Google Play for example, have the listed price as $1.40, even though I’ve marked it as 99c… This is their policy and it’s out of my control, though I do apologise.)

Blurb:

Twenty-five years ago, the hand of fate marked four newborns and sent them to the four corners of the Great Kingdoms. They were schooled and trained as rulers of their lands in preparation for the Golden Eclipse ceremony: a festival to celebrate a thousand years of peace and prosperity since the Great War.

Crow, ruler of Northlands, a skilled swordsman and expert tactician, is as reclusive and stoic as the mountains that surround him. Tancho has spent his life in strict discipline, governing the Westlands with a fair mind and gentle hand. Quiet and unassuming, yet lethal in combat, he is the embodiment of the waters he lives by.

Yet the same hand of fate unknowingly linked Tancho to Crow in ways they cannot comprehend. Ruled by the stars, the brother sun and the two sister moons above them, and marked by an alchemical sorcery as old as time, their destinies were never their own.

As the eclipse draws near and the festival begins, word comes of another threat. Invaders from unknown lands bring a war no one was prepared for, and Crow and Tancho must decide on which side of the battle line they stand.

In life or death, their destinies will see them joined either way.

~ Lacuna is a 92,000-word story of swords and sorcery, action and adventure, and romance.

Good Morning Monday! ~ Lacuna is now at all retailers for a short time!

It’s February already! Crazy, right? But with it brings the return of some kind of routine. My son is back at school (his final year) and my daughter will be heading off to uni in two weeks. After the railroad that was 2020, I’m kinda looking forward to the routine again. I need to get back into the swing of things and meet some goals where my writing is concerned.

I have some awesome badges to share as well! Every year, the folks at Goodreads M/M Readers Awards have polls and voting for books released throughout the year. Last year I scored a whole bundle, including the All-Time Favourite Author award.  Well, this year I was voted into the M/M Author Hall of Fame!! How craaaaazy is that?? Plus some awesome other awards as well!

The awards were as follows:

Hall of FameBest Performance/Visual ArtsSecond placeThrowing HeartsBest Contemp/mainstreamSecond placePieces of You Best FantasySecond PlaceLacuna Best Hurt ComfortSecond placePieces of You Best coverThird placeLacuna

I’m honoured and very grateful to all my readers! Thank you all so much!

In other news, Lacuna is now in wide distribution. As you’re all aware by now, I do try and cycle my books in and out of KU.

You can find Lacuna at the following:

Apple

B&N

Nook

Google Play

Amazon

Or check out your favourite retailer. If it’s not there, it will be coming soon. Sometimes roll-out takes a few extra days for some stores and locations.

The audio of Pieces of Us is FINALLY at Audible. It took four months… And I apologise to my audible listeners for the delay BUT it’s there now! Here are the group links for all formats. You’ll find the audio links for all stores here, including Audible.

Pieces of You: https://books2read.com/nrw-pieces-of-you
Pieces of Me: https://books2read.com/nrw-pieces-of-me
Pieces of Us: https://books2read.com/nrw-pieces-of-usSo What’s Next?

My next release will be around mid-March. It’s a 72,000 word standalone contemporary gay romance. My editor called it a “pure cozy-romance” and that sums it up nicely. It’s an anon-hookup to romance, there’s minimal drama and conflict which is what my heart needed to write. I’ll be sharing the blurb, title, and cover very soon so stay tuned!

My current WIP is brand new. I actually started writing something else but shelved it and started this new one and it’s going so much better. It’s more angsty and I’m loving writing it!

Fingers crossed I can pump out some better word-counts in February!

Until next week… Much love to you all.

xx

Happy New Year!

Premium Vector | Happy new year 2021 lettering design

I know I’ve been a bit slack with the updates in December but honestly, I haven’t had much to report and by the year’s end, I was kinda out of spoons. But 2021 is here and I don’t think there’s been a year we’ve all been so happy to put behind us. 2020 was a hard year, for many reasons, for most people. But here we are on the other side! We made it! If the only thing you did in 2020 was make it to 2021, then you did just fine.

I still managed to have a productive year and perhaps that was the reason why I struggled to get much done in December… by the end I was dragging. But now January is here and I’m trying to put my mind first gear to move forward.

This is how 2020 looked for me…

I can hardly complain, right? I had a rather productive year and I’m sooooo grateful for the readers who are still with me after all these years. I couldn’t do any of what I do without you!

So what does 2021 look like for me?

I have a short story coming out later this month (January – date to be determined). Then I should have a book coming out every eight weeks or so, which is January, March, May, July, September, November, all things going well. That’s subject to change of course, but at the moment that’s what I have planned.

I have a few audios coming out but I’ve caught up on most of my backlist now. And there are more translations planned as well

Tic-Tac-Mistletoe Release Day!

Tic-Tac-Mistletoe is OUT NOW!

It’s a feel-good Christmas story, with love and laughs, snow and mistletoe – and a dog named Chutney.  It was a true joy to write Ren and Hamish’s story and I hope it brings a little ray of sunshine to your day.

The universal Amazon link is
http://mybook.to/TicTacMistletoe

Blurb:

Hamish Kenneally is moving from Australia to the US for a fresh start, beginning with Christmas at his sister’s place in Idaho. When a snowstorm diverts his plane to Montana and leaves him stranded two days before Christmas, he hires a car and drives right into a blizzard.

Ren Brooks has always called Hartbridge, Montana, and his family hardware store, home. After a few failed attempts at love, he’s resigned to being single forever—after all, no guy wants to stay in his sleepy little town for long. And after his dad’s passing earlier in the year, Ren’s Christmas is looking bleak. But when a car runs off the road in front of his property, Ren pulls the driver out and takes him home to get out of the cold.

With the storm and the holidays leaving Hamish with nowhere else to go, Ren kindly offers a place to stay. Hamish is certain he’s crashed right into a Hallmark Christmas movie, despite more car delays and road closures and the prospect of not seeing his sister for Christmas. And with help from Hamish, Ren is beginning to feel a little Christmas cheer.

These two unlikely strangers have more in common than they first realise, and after two days of Christmas decorations, cookies, and non-stop conversation, it looks like Christmas might be saved after all.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve said hello. My Good Morning Monday posts have been a bit of a fail of late. Real-life has been so hectic and I’ve been trying to write ALL the words in any spare minute I have. I’m sure everything will settle down and return to normal soon. I have some great books planned for next year and I can’t wait to share them with you all.

Ren and Hamish in Tic-Tac-Mistletoe were such a joy to write. it’s a real fluffy Christmas book, with lots of warm and fuzzy feels, which I think is just what the world needs right now. I really hope you enjoy it.

Upside Down is 99c & Pieces of Us is at all retailers

It’s Ace Awareness Week and what a better way to celebrate with a sale on Upside Down. If you haven’t grabbed it yet, now’s your chance. It won’t be 99c for long.

Blurb:

Jordan O’Neill isn’t a fan of labels, considering he has a few. Gay, geek, librarian, socially awkward, a nervous rambler, an introvert, an outsider. The last thing he needs is one more. But when he realises adding the label asexual might explain a lot, it turns his world upside down.

Hennessy Lang moved to Surry Hills after splitting with his boyfriend. His being asexual had seen the end of a lot of his romances, but he’s determined to stay true to himself. Leaving his North Shore support group behind, he starts his own in Surry Hills, where he meets first-time-attendee Jordan.

A little bewildered and scared, but completely adorable, Hennessy is struck by this guy who’s trying to find where he belongs. Maybe Hennessy can convince Jordan that his world hasn’t been turned upside down at all, but maybe it’s now—for the first time in his life—the right way up.

Missing Pieces Series, Book Three

As Justin’s recovery moves forward, Dallas dares to hope their lives are settling into their new normal. His money worries have eased, business is picking up, and best of all, Justin now laughs more than he frowns.

Justin’s memory still eludes him, but with each snippet or flashback, small pieces of his old life start to slot into place. He remembers more of Dallas and how perfectly happy their lives used to be, and with each passing day, Justin realises he can have that again.

But when someone from Justin’s past turns up, he discovers that not all the missing pieces are good, and sadly, he and Dallas also learn just what it means to live with a traumatic brain injury.

If Dallas and Justin have to fight for their Happily Ever After, then Dallas will stop at nothing–nothing–to give Justin the life he always wanted.

“. . . as I tried to put the puzzle of myself back together, it was the pieces of us that made me whole.”

Good Morning Monday ~ Lacuna Pre-Order Link and Excerpt!

I have all the things on Lacuna today, and I’m so excited to share this with you. This book means a lot to me… I’ve wanted to write it for years and never felt I was good enough, or that I couldn’t quite do it justice. You might remember when I went to a 2-day fantasy writing course with CS Pacat a few years ago… that was to try and wrangle this story into something half readable. LOL  Well, this year I decided to tackle it. Yes, 2020… because I wasn’t stressed enough apparently LOL

Anyway, I’m incredibly proud of this book. I can’t wait for you all to meet Crow and Tancho and go on this adventure with them.

So let me get on with the details…

Good Morning Sunday ~ News and a Cover and Blurb Reveal!

Good morning folks! Yes, it’s a Sunday post this week and not a Monday, but I have stuff to post about! It’s been another busy week. Lots of behind-the-scenes stuff and a decent word count was written, so all in all, a good week. Add in that it’s school holidays here and my two childus-interuptuses are home all day makes any productivity even better!

My WIP is at 40K words, and I’m thinking it will get wrapped up this week with maybe another 8K words to go. Yay! It’s my Christmas story for this year, and it’s very Hallmark-ish, and honestly, it is EVERYTHING the world needs right now. Normally I avoid writing Christmas stories, especially extra schmoopy ones, but this has honestly been a balm to write. I can’t wait for you all to meet Ren and Hamish.

My next release has been through edits and is now with proofreaders. More on that in a bit…

First up, Pieces of Me is now at all retailers for a short time only, so now is the time to grab it!

I’m very excited to share this with you all! Lacuna is something I’ve wanted to write for years but never felt I was good enough to pull it off. Good Morning Monday ~ Quick Update on All The Things

It’s been a few weeks, sorry. Truth is I haven’t had much to report. Life’s been crazy-busy and there hasn’t been much book-wise to talk about.

My daughter graduates high school this week. Her official last day is Wednesday, then we have two weeks of school holidays, then she will have her final Higher School Certificate exams over the course of October. Yes, exams go for 3-4 weeks here. BUT she has been offered an early-acceptance into university for next year, so her stress levels aren’t anywhere near as high as they could have been. Thank GAWD! She’s been offered a double degree in Law and International Studies at her first choice uni, so she’s stoked. We always said she should be a lawyer because honestly, she was born arguing LOL

And then my son begins his final year of school as well, and I honestly can’t wait for school to be over. I get asked a lot of I’m sad that my kids are finishing school but seriously no… I am cheering! I need this part of our lives to be over. After 13 years it’s time to move on.

Okay, onto the book stuff…

First of all, I want to express my relief that my latest manuscript (more info below) is with my editor (I should have edits this week, hopefully) and I’ve started my Christmas book! I normally don’t do Christmas but I really feeling it this year. I think I needed to write something sweet and fluffy and this book surely delivers. I think after this year, we could all use some sweet and fluffy romance
