I’d ranked top of my class in every subject since the first grade yet there I was falling stupidly in love with him.
This was going to be a hell of a year. And one very steep learning curve for both of us.

A very quick update:
I’ve been terribly slack with updates, and I apologise. Life’s been… busy. I do try and send newsletters once a month, but I feel that these blog posts are more personal. Just my opinion, of course! I think I’m old school haha
I was very happy with the release of The Kite and how it was received. Thank you all for loving Harry and Asher! There has been a slight delay in the audiobook release but it will be out soon!
My current WIP is at 40K words and should be out in September!
I have two book signings coming up! One in Newcastle NSW (Book Boyfriends) in September and the other is Books In Sight Melbourne in October. I cannot wait to see my Aussie people again!

It’s Release Day for Davo!
The idea for this story came to me when I saw that cover image. As soon as I saw it, I just knew he had a story… A rugged mining man in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia. He was tough, smart, loved by everyone, and he simply loved to wear skirts.
No shame, no apologies.
I wanted to write a story where what a man wears wasn’t an issue, where everyone accepted it like it wasn’t out of the ordinary.
And so the story of Davo was born…
Davo is a *very* Aussie name. Pronounced Day-vo, short for David. The town Pannalego, pronounced Panna-lee-go, was a highlight for me to write. I adored these characters, every one of them. Also very Australian, and if anyone has spent time in the outback where a town where a roadhouse is the hub, you can just FEEEEEL these characters.

I’m so in love with this cover, and I may be a little bit biased because I made it LOL. It took a long time to get it right but I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
Code Blue is 115,000 words long, and it was so much fun to spend time with the Atrous boys again. Code Blue is the second book in the Atrous Series. The books should be read in order so if you haven’t read Code Red, I’d suggest starting there. It’s told from Steve’s point of view, the way Code Red was told from Roscoe’s.
