We had our first chill in Georgia and everyone here got excited for cozy weather! Of course, next week we'll be back in our flip-flops, but I do enjoy a short bout of cool weather for cozy reading. #SundayFunday Happy Birthday Agatha Christie giveaway
I have a special giveaway to celebrate my favorite mystery writer, Agatha Christie. She has not only been a source of inspiration for my novels, but also a source of peace when I need to quiet my mind and escape from life's troubles. I find her writing such a pleasant respite and a good mental exercise, don't you?
I've been reading Christie since middle school and will even reread her books (even knowing the whodunnit) over and over again. In fact, when my daughters were young, I would take them to the library and check out one or two Agatha Christies for myself. I had a mini-mission to read all her books that Peachtree City Library held. And I did it!
Now that I can find her books on Kindle, I'm enjoying them again in a different format and even finding new ones.
In honor of Agatha Christie's birthday, I'm giving away my personal paperback copy of After the Funeral, a Hercule Poirot mystery that inspired me to write Cherry Tucker's A Composition in Murder. The main commonality is a will and related murders — although I did name a character Cora unintentionally. Funny how the subconscious works
