Facebook Disabled My Account
If you have been looking for me on Facebook, I believe I have had my account disabled. My account was taken down sometime in the last two months, but if that happens, users have 30 days to do something about it. If I get an email saying my account will expire in 30 days, I generally think is is a fake email, so I didn’t respond. Now I am out.
So, I’m sorry. I may try to get on another social media outlet, but I’m not sure where to go. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me know.

The Queen’s Pet is Released
Finally, the third book in the Augur’s Eye is published. The Queen’s Pet takes our hero, Whit, off on a quick adventure to a neighboring country to fetch a few more parts of the Augur’s Eye. His team doesn’t have much time to get into the country and find out where the artifacts are. Mystery and mayhem ensue and Whit is caught up in more than he bargained for.

In my Disinherited Prince series, I had the Emperor’s Pet for a title and I stole the pet idea for this novel. I assure you no characters are the same. In fact, the “pet” is a gnome and the queen is a pixie.
Here is where to find the book. It is available on Kindle as an ebook or in paperback. The flying person on the cover is not Whit, but Tillun Withers, a pixie living in the Corian capital and he really does have purple hair.
The third book in the series, The Knave’s Serpent, is already underway and I am shooting for a late December release.

The King’s Spy now Released
The second book in the Augur’s Eye series was just released. Here is the blurb:
Whit Varian’s expedition to find ancient parts for the Augur’s Eye begins in the pixie country of Perisia. There he is confronted by a weak monarch and it seems everyone in the country is conniving to do something. Whit and his team must find ways to overcome the obstacles that arise at every turn while keeping an eye on a rival expeditionary team and their own advisor, while Whit is still exploring his own origin and uniqueness while on a concurrent mission for the kingdom of Ayce.
The amazon link to the ebook and paperback is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FKKYR18
This book was quite a bit easier to write since it revolves around one adventure rather than a number of episodes that I needed to write to introduce Whit Varian’s background and the world in which he lives. The cover is below.
As a note, I’m continuing on with the next book in the series: The Queen’s Pet, due for release in October/November.

The King’s Spy in Editing & Cover Reveal
The King’s Spy is currently in editing and I’m hoping for an early to mid September release. I did the cover myself and will probably be tweaking the images before release, but the current draft is below.
I’ve started doing all the preliminary work for The Queen’s Pet and will start drafting next week. With The King’s Spy in editing, I hope to get a head start with the next novel so I can look forward to a late October release of The Queen’s Pet.
The series is shaping up to be a bit different from I originally planned, but that happens when I write. The second and third books are two separate journeys to retrieve the parts of the Augur’s Eye. Each journey presents different challenges. The fourth book will be about Whit’s last year at Herringbone, and the fifth book will be his expedition continued to complete the Augur’s Eye collection.

The Rise of Whit replaces The Mud Elf
I’ve had some pushback on the title of The Mud Elf. Since I didn’t like the face on the cover, I re-titled the first volume of The Augur’s Eye series and now Book One is called The Rise of Whit. The story didn’t change at all.
To do that I had to remove The Mud Elf from the active list and publish The Rise of Whit as if it was a new story. If it sounds a bit complicated, it was, but I’ve got the paperback and the ebook corrected.
My wife, for example, couldn’t shake off the image of little elves living in mud huts in the wild and that isn’t what the series is about. I’ve attached the new cover. Only the title and the head of Whit, the hero have been changed.

The Mud Elf Release is Imminent!
It seems like it has been a long time since the introduction of A Clash of Magics, the finale of the Adventures of Desolation Boxster. The first book of a series always seems to take a long time because you are creating a new cast of characters and their own world. Whit Varian is our latest hero. He is young, ignorant in many ways and woefully untested. If nothing else our Whit is resilient and you will see this in this first volume which is more of a prelude for all the action that is to come in the series.
The Mud Elf is in the process of begin reviewed within the dark bowels of Amazon and should be ready for reading in a day or two.
Here is the blurb:
In a world with seven races, Whit Varian is a rare mixture of the two elf races. The uncharitable term for a mixed race elf is “mud elf”. Whit will find that his heritage is more complicated than what he thinks, and his personal universe turns upside down when disastrous events occur in the year he starts at the University of Herringbone.
With a commitment made to excel at his studies, Whit feels he must succeed for his parents as much as for himself. His education is continually disrupted by those who do not want him to achieve his dreams.
As he works through the obstacles, Whit learns of a magical device, the Augur’s Eye, that was dismantled in ancient times and the components scattered. It is the Augur’s Eye that will become the focus for later adventures in the series, but for now, The Mud Elf sets the stage for an epic journey to retrieve all the parts and restore the Augur’s Eye to the world.
And here is the cover:

Let me know after you read the book if the representation of Whit matches what he looks like after you’ve gotten to know him.

Final Installment of Desolation Boxster in Editing
The fifth and final book in the Desolation Boxster Adventures series is in editing and should be published in three to four weeks. Lots of action and battles and stuff in the finale. Des goes back to his original name of Trevor and the fight against the forces of evil continues. I have gotten the cover back and here is a sneak peek.

Book Four in Desolation Boxster Series Released!

The Swordmaker’s Secret appeared on Amazon, ready for download. It took a bit longer than I thought it would since my editor lost her work in a technical accident, but she soldiered through and got it done.
Here is the blurb
[image error]Des Boxster finds himself in a strange land. Alone and without any support, he is given an impossible task by a tribal leader and that takes him to the capital. He becomes an unwilling participant in another civil war, and Des must navigate in a totally unfamiliar political climate while seeking out the secret that can add fire to the already hot situation.

The Blue Tower is Released
At long last, The Blue Tower is now up on Amazon. It is a month behind schedule due to life impinging on the author and the editor. But it is complete. You can pick it up on Amazon at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NK8ZTX3/
The blurb:
Des Boxster and his group stop at the town of Redwitzel to help save the citizens from a mad magician who lives in the ancient Blue Tower. Unfortunately, the task becomes much more complicated that it first seems, and Des is suddenly embroiled in a political battle that reaches all the way to the capital and the secret seal of power of the country. Will his magical immunity finally reach a fatal limit? Des is about to find out.
The cover:

I’m currently working on The Swordmaker’s Secret. It looks like the Boxster adventures will be a five book series, but who knows what will happen in book four?
