The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Re: Relationships

by Kassandra Lamb

One of the big names in the field of researching marriage and divorce is Dr. John Gottman. He uses this line (from Revelations in the Bible)—the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse—to describe the four warning signs that best predict divorce.

I will briefly describe them, then talk about their opposites; in other words, what you need to do instead, if you want a healthy long-term relationship.

Myths and Challenges regarding Love and Marriage

by Kassandra Lamb

As we move into the stress of the holidays, adding it to what we’re already dealing with during this crazy year of 2020, I thought it worthwhile to review and add to the info in this blog about maintaining healthy relationships. And I will have an additional post or two with new info.

Today, I want to addr...

Ouija Boards Debunked, Maybe (an encore)

A couple of weeks ago, I thought, “Hey, I should do a blog post for Halloween about what really makes Ouija boards work.” Then I went browsing through our old posts and discovered we’d already done one, back in 2013! So here is an encore presentation of Ouija Boards Debunked, Maybe.

This is a combination psychology and paranormal post, written by me (Kassandra Lamb) and Kirsten Weiss.

Kirsten here to start things off.

I’ve posted in the past on the origins of Ouija boards. That post g...

Today, we bring you a crime writers interview with Lois Winston.

She has a very interesting background and she writes the Anastasia Pollock series. They’re kind of cozies, but not… I’ll let her explain below.

But first a short introduc...

Maintaining a Healthy Relationship during A Pandemic (Plus our October Contest)

by Kassandra Lamb

I was thinking that a post about maintaining a healthy relationship during a pandemic would be helpful right now. So I went looking through our archives for inspiration.
