Heist Society--it's here!
Hey everybody!
It's here! It's finally here!
Heist Society went on sale in the U.S. and (I think) Canada today. I'm beyond excited to have this book out in the world and to be able to talk about these characters with real readers at last. Yay!
If you're in or around Chicago (and you feel like braving the weather, which, to me, doesn't seem that bad yet--knock on wood) then I'd love to see you either tonight at the Borders in Oak Brook at 7:00.
I'm also THRILLED to be going back to Anderson's! ...

It's tour time!
Hey everybody,
I'm sitting in my kitchen watching it snow (hard!) and getting ready to go start packing for tour. I'm leaving this afternoon and hoping the snow doesn't mess stuff up too much.
Assuming I can get to Chicago (and I bet I can) I hope many of you will come out tomorrow to help me welcome Heist Society into the world!

Wow. Where do I begin?
So you guys know that I'm at the American Bookseller's Association's Winter Institute? I've got a book coming out... A tour starting... More books to write...

Well, I just THOUGHT I was busy because yesterday things went into overdrive! You see, about a week ago my wonderful film agent, Sarah Self, sent Heist Society to a handful of trusted producers in Hollyood. That was Friday. On Monday morning she started getting calls about...

Mini blog: hello out there!
Hello out there!
I'm still working, trying with all my might to make GG4--ONLY THE GOOD SPY YOUNG--as strong as possible. So that's why the blog has been pretty quiet lately.
That and all the tour prep.
And the big AllyCarter.com redesign.
And the getting ready for the winter Olympics (that gold metal in hot chocolate drinking is mine this year! ALL MINE!)
And the Percy-Jackson-movie-freaking. (It looks sooooo good!)
And the soup eating.
And the snow watching.
And the rewriting.
Did I mention the ...

The complete tour schedule!
Yay! At long last I can confirm that I will be doing a signing at 1:00 on Sunday, February 14th--yes, that February 14th--at the legendary Books of Wonder in New York, NY!
Yay!

One more tour stop!
Yes! It's official! San Jose, I'm coming your way!
My wonderful publicist has been able to confirm that I will be having a "meet and greet" at the Borders Cafe in San Jose, California on Thursday, February 4th!
Yay!
Unfortunately, this will be my only west coast stop on this tour. (But there will probably/hopefully be other tours and I will certainly make it out west on one of those. Plus, don't forget I was just there last June!)
As for the rest of the tour, we're still working to firm up on...
