Edwin Wolfe's Philanthropic Work

In March 2012, publisher Aauvi House Publishing Group asked Edwin Wolfe to donate 50 copies of his Chrysalis Chronicles series, debut novel, The Eyes of the Desert Sand, which would then be donated to children’s hospitals across the United States and abroad. Aauvi House is calling this contribution “Operation 1-by-1” – 1 state at a time, 1 city at a time, and 1 country at a time. Their first goal is to identify a “Chrysalis Chronicles flagship children’s hospital” in each of the 50 states, where they will work with the activities directors therein to provide readings of the donated books to their children patients.

When we asked Aauvi House to comment, Ms. Moeszinger explained, “We are a huge believer in giving back and our hearts and souls go out to the children of the world in their fight against all diseases. However, this is only our first step. Moving forward, we will give back much more in addition to books, for instances, Chrysalis Chronicles character visits and readings.”

Wolfe, too, commented, “I have always been a big kid at heart and have been very fortunate and gifted in the storytelling department. I don’t think this was by accident.  But I do think it was by design.”

Future blog posts will begin with the title, “Operation 1-by-1” to keep you posted on our progress. Should you have a specific hospital you would like to nominate, please drop us a comment.  Zo-Zo!

All the ingredients to stir up a Twitter frenzy.  Although the @Wormfreid account has been open for several months, it was not until a week ago when Wolfe began actively tweeting, already reaching over 1,000 Twitter followers while still touting his Chrysalis Chronicles series and debut novel, The Eyes of the Desert Sand.
