Publishing and Writing Something Good
No, this picture is not what good is about, but rather what sort of quality you publish. As much as a writer doesn't like to admit it, what you have completed and plan to publish is forever, there will be books sold, and there will be people who will critique it.
Writing something good means you need an editor who is willing to tell you what is wrong.

Quotes on Writing
It's been a while since I did a quote but really I think these two have sort of made my day. Of course, it is all about writing, but there is another aspect to writing, and that is editing.
I can at least say that writing can be fun and you can let it all out, but you do have to edit it with a clear mind. That is why you write and why you have an editor to help you.

Publishing a Stronger Book
It's an adventure when you decide you want to publish your book. I can understand that there is a lot of emotions going on when you finally say, that after all the months of editing and re-writing you will finally start the wheels of publishing in motion.
Part of the challenge is that you will need a lot more patience and a willingness to create a stronger book than you thought possible. One

Something I Published Might Be Older.. But Is It Still True?
I love to write and usually try to update things as they come. But for today I'll give you a quick explanation of what sort of writing I'll be talking about over the next while. This isn't going to be a series, but rather a commentary of two hubs I wrote a long while back.
My question is that even after such a long time does these two hubs still hold true?
They might be older, for example 10

Living a Life of Writing.... And Life
A writer's life never ends, but sometimes you simply feel that it's busy, and you have too much paperwork to do.
Between living your life, and working with your writing, you might feel a bit behind, but thank goodness for summer, or at least breaks in the summer.
Never fear, Living a Life of Writing will carry on. We love writing too much not to. We also need to focus on the publishing

Publishing A Book? Great! (But Wait...)
Hey guess what I've published a book! I want to scream it out loud. Great have I got your attention yet?
No?
Well, why not? (dead silence from the reader)
Okay, really it's a great book and it's only X dollars. It's a great book. (Wait no! Why are you leaving?!)
I see your point, you like my writing, read my blog, but it's the money thing right? New author, and youdon't want to take a

Well Done Edits, Means a Better Published Book
I think this topic has been on my mind for some time. Edits are important, after all, we want to have the best published book out there to see success with our writing.
Where would we be without an audience?
If we annoy our audience, or write and then publish a first draft (which is not "publishable") then we run the risk of making our readers not want to read our books. This is one of the

We Writers Need to Support Each Even After We've Published
Writers need each other, to tell them how they are doing, to tell them if they are doing well or just simply a person who can offer some type of advice.
Whatever the reason we all need each other, and that is more true once we've published a book.I know that so many of my readers (who are also writers) have encouraged me along this road.
Talk about giving back, the fact that writers are

How Much Money Should You Spend Marketing Your Book?
This is a great sort of topic, mostly because it allows people who have self-published a book or have a traditional publisher to have a say. How much money will you spend on marketing -- promoting -- your book?
I can understand that we all want a best selling book, but we also need to be realistic; which means spending a lot of time and energy to make a book a success, and that is why having a

Self-Publishing The "Ultimate" Book
Before I go on with this post, I want to make some things very clear: One, there is no such thing as a perfect writer, two no matter how great one thinks a first draft might be-- it isn't, three there is such a thing as an editor and four, you are never as good as you think you are.
I would love to self-publish that ultimate book, the one where you have so many sales that publishers begin to
