Book Review: What If? By Randall Munroe
In the realm of questions there a lot of variables. Questions be close ended with simple yes or no's for answers. Questions be more complex leading you to check your watch if someone asks you what time is it? Then there are the questions thatuse multiple brain cells to muddle through. Cause you to research and to quote every math teacher I ever had "Show your work". And lastly the questions [image error]

Book Review: All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
A National Book Award Finalist. An Amazon Best Book of the Month in May 2014. A Booklist Starred Review. A Heather's Pick from the CEO of Chapters Indigo. The list of accolades goes on. I was captivated by All the Light We Cannot See: A Novel
by Anthony Doerr the instant I finished the first chapter.

Freedom with Writing
In general, most writers publish their work with the intent of earning some income. The idea is that over time they publish more and there will be a snowball effect that happens to them. That vision of money and not having to work outside the home is a powerful motivator. Publishing, can be the means to your dreams.

Is There Such A Thing as A Writer's Brand?
The comment can be made that writers are a bit obsessed with writing, and promoting this writing. what they don't think about, at least at first is how they are a brand. Writers are creative people by nature and the thought of not writing scares them. It is their heart and their soul. This begin said, there isn't much thought given to branding until much later.

E-Reader review: Kindle or Kobo?
It's national reading month and what better way to celebrate it than talking about e-readers. I am a bibliophile. Don't get me wrong I love the feel of an actual novel in my hands. When I am at home I do read physical books.

Taking Action in Writing
Inertia is the resistance of any physical object to any change in its state of motion, including changes to its speed and direction. It is the tendency of objects to keep moving in a straight line at constant velocity.
There are many people who love the concept of inertia-- some are writers, some are simply average people. The key to this sentence is 'average' and no one wants to be called

Writing Great Content, Your Brand, and Passion
Content:
1) Write.
Blogging Quote by Darren Rowse
Simple and effective, and often not done as much as people would like to admit to. Write a post on your blog, then post it. Write a few pages of a novel or a non-fiction book, but write. This is the foundation to 'content.' Next, edit the content for any problems you might think there might be. The last action step is publish this [image error]

Take A Step Back To Improve Your Blog
The art of improvement. With all the self-helps books out there you would think there would be a 'magic' button to fix all the blogging woes you might have. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. For a writing blog which you want to take to the next level, it all seems rather... challenging.
It's time to look long and hard at your blog.

On Understanding Negativity
While I do agree with Morris that it is important to be positive in life I also choose to embrace the negative moments in my life. I just don't embrace them, I feel them, I let them in, I exhaust them when I get the chance.
Once I am done with that negative feeling and I have cried and shuddered and moped all that I needed to, and thenI let it go back into the universe and move on.
Are we

The Intuitive Process of Writing
For a writer, there is a cycle to writing and publishing books, it begins when he starts to write a book, edit it, have it beta read, re-edit, and begin the submission process- with the intent to have the book published. A writer isn't done yet- he must repeat this process again— with another manuscript.A cycle like this, frustrating as it may be, is something even a new writer intuitively [image error]
