Victoria Colotta is an artist, author, and award winning graphic designer for her work at VMC Art & Design. With a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and a voracious need to constantly be reading, Victoria managed to merge the two loves in her life…art and books. As an artist, she is constantly exploring new ways to create and share her artwork. As an author, her goal is to write stories that she would love reading no matter what the genre and push herself to explore all the aspects of her characters.

The simple fact that Mr. Darcy ends up with a smart, stubborn, and strong woman at the end just always appealed to me. If that doesn't work, I put on some music and draw. There is something about the act of drawing that completely calms me. Finally, if that doesn't work, I walk away. I do something for myself that has nothing to do with the book. I will bake, clean, re-organize my bookshelves, paint my nails, or read a book. By stepping back and not thinking about the story, always sparks something down the line whether it be an hour or a day. (less)
