My review of Earth, Cover me by SJ Davis from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Earth, Cover MeAuthor: Fiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersSummary: Lisbette, a young woman who specializes in expensive role play, meets her match in Malcolm - a dark and mysterious stranger who takes her to hell, literally. Malcolm and his companion Persephone show Lisbette dark desires that reveal the truth about her past. But is Hell really more like Heaven?Graphic Content 18+The ReviewHoly Hell, This one is graphic in nature but when you consider who the story is about, that is to be expected, Lisbette is a Succubus, My favourite kind of story, She always gets the great time, The author really got into the psychy of Lisbette as she found out who she was, when she realised what she was, I really, really enjoyed this one, nothing like abit of Demon loving to end the day,  again this is over 18’s only, 4.5/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Earth-Cover-Me-...

My review of In My Dreams by Cameo Renae from Julie Newberry

Ebook: In My DreamsAuthor: Cameo RenaeFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: It was happening again. The dreams. The nightmares. It was something that seventeen year-old Elizabeth Hayes thought she'd outgrown; dreams that would come true; detailed premonitions of how people would die. This time she dreams about her boyfriend, Michael Young, and soon discovers that he has been found... dead.He has not crossed over because he was murdered, and now the murderer is after Lizzy. His spirit won't rest until she is safe. As a newbie spirit, the easiest way for him to make contact is through Lizzy's dreams. When she dreams, it's as if he hasn't died.Lizzy must learn to pull on her inner strength to survive horrifying events, and is faced with a most difficult decision. Would she risk her life to save her best friend and the very person responsible for Michael's death?Meanwhile, Michael learns everything he can about his supernatural gifts to help. But will it be enough to save her?The ReviewWell, I have such puffy eyes, I was enthralled with this one, I could not put it down, the author really got to me with this one, I cried like a baby, I am so emotional right now, this book really tugged at my heart strings, but it was brilliant, I did not want to put it down, I loved Michael, the hero of the story, for me he was the epitome of a hero, it did not matter that he was dead, nothing would stop him from helping out his Elizabeth, (Lizzy) whenever she needed it and boy did she need it, This is a great book for any and all, it gave me hope, that there is life for us all after we have lost a loved one, I was pulled into their lives, The author did a fantastic job, I would highly recommend this one to everyone, just make sure you have tissues beside you, you will need them, 6/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/In-My-Dreams-eb...

My review of Starblood by Camilla Voiez from Julie Newberry

Ebook:  Starblood (The Starblood Trilogy)Author: Carmilla VoiezFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: In a seedy Goth club, a beautiful woman dances, waiting to be set free. Along an unlit street, another woman stumbles, fleeing her pursuer. In a darkened room, a man speaks to demons.Lust, obsession, terror and humiliation storm into the lives of Star and Satori, proving the age-old maxim – be careful what you wish for.Starblood, the debut novel by Carmilla Voiez, is a tale of magic and horror.Blinded by love, Satori, a young magician, attempts a spell that goes horribly wrong, resulting in the demon Lilith returning to Earth. Satori knows he must send Lilith back. The dark goddess brimming with power makes it her mission to wreak havoc on Satori's life by ensnaring Star, the woman he loves, and her friends in a web of chaos and deceit.‘Carmilla Voiez makes Clive Barker look like Stephanie Meyer.’ Jef Withonef, Houston Press. The ReviewI liked this book but I did get a little confused, it was probably my own fault, tried to read it while the kids were home, not a good idea, kept getting interrupted, but I really needed to read this one, I have heard such great things about it, so I will say this you really need to give this book your whole attention,  Once the kiddies went to bed, I settled down for the night and got really quite engrossed, I loved Star, I really liked how her character changed throughout the book,  Lilith was a psycho but then she was a demon, I would love to have gotten away with some of the stuff she got away with, I believe she subconsciously was killing bad men, won’t say who but two were very bad men, The author made me feel Sorry for Satori/Steve but sometimes I felt like he brought it all on himself, but I can understand why he tried to do what he did, all for Love, gets us all in the end, read this book, you won’t regret it, 4.5/5  Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Starblood-The-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B00AXFEPJO/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1358610924&sr=1-2&keywords=starbloodAmazon.co.ukhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Starblood-The-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B00AXFEPJO/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1358611113&sr=1-1Goodreadshttp://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11512156-starbloodFacebook www.facebook.com/pages/Carmilla-Voiez/207860349245238?ref=ts&fref=ts

My review of The Black Lily Club by Chelle from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Black Lily ClubAuthor: ChelleFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: Jasmine is a woman with a history of bad relationships and an inability to find a man to satiate her needs. One day she receives an invitation to an exclusive private club. What the hell, might as well give Something different a try before swearing off men all together…right?Marcus is a two hundred year old vampire who owns The Black Lillie Club, a safe place for vampires to seek their mates and partake in their darkest desires. He has been searching for his soul mate since his turning. Can the Vampire who created this haven finally find his true soul mate? Can Jasmine find bliss in the hands of a stranger?Contains: spanking, whips, cuffs, and strong BDSM scenesThe ReviewI really liked this book, it brought you into the whole BDSM scene slowly, ideal for a new reader, just starting out and wanting to learn more about the scene, with a wonderful love story intertwined in it, I love the chemistry between Marcus and Jasmine, They truly were hot for each other, the sexual content had me enthralled, I loved that Marcus gently brings Jasmine into the scene because he does not want to scare her away as he believes her to be his soul mate, I hope the author will be writing more, I love the way she writes, highly recommended, 5/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/The-Black-Lily-...

My review of Red's Robin (Vampire Memoirs) by Riley Steel from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Red's Robin (Vampire Memoirs)Author: Riley SteelFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: Robin is a rather self absorbed model. On a night out, she bumps into Red, a vampire. One unholy and lustfully fantastic night later she finds herself a member of the undead. Having shied away all of her life from love, she now has to adjust to the fact that she and Red are soul mates. But something appears to be amiss with Robin, she doesn't like human blood. She is a Santorian, a special breed of vampire thought to be extinct. As she matures she will become indestructible, impervious to sunlight. But to accomplish this she must survive on the blood of other vampires. Robin learns to love for the first time and finds her place in her new family who have welcomed her into their arms. However, when a vicious rival vampire pack kidnaps Red, it falls solely in her hands to use her newly tuned senses to seek him out and she must battle her way through the entire vampire pack to get him back. The ReviewWow, the author went all out with this one, I loved it, there was intrigue, secrecy, backstabbing, action and Sex, I was hooked from the start, I loved Robin, she was so out there, but Red was my favourite, he was so perfect, except for being a vampire, just what every girl wants, Riley Steel knows how to write a vampire novel, she pulls you in from the first right through to the end, it was action packed, there were gruesome fight scenes and glorious sex scenes that will leave you panting for more,  I would highly recommend this book, 5/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Reds-Robin-Vamp...

My review of Downpour (Ember Series book 2) by Madison Daniel from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Downpour (Ember Series Book 2)Author: Madison DanielFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary:  A little sister lost.A family tree withered. A journey to save the past.Max Valentine is a walking supernova. On the run and searching for answers, his light darkens. Dark skies on the horizon make his next chapter ominous. His powers are fading but still he pushes toward the storm. Embers still burn but can he survive this one truth......love is eternal but the heart is not.The ReviewI read this book first before I read Ember which is book 1, I was intrigued to see if I could read it as a stand alone and yes I could, I understood what was going on, The characters in this reminded me of the Xmen, Asia was definitely Storm, she had all the same attributes, which was awesome, Who does not love a superhero, and for me Asia was definitely one in this book, I know the hero was Max, but Asia was always the heroine for me, I still can’t decide who Max should be with, as Sam is the love of his life, won’t say too much because of spoilers, but Asia is always there for him, I loved how this story was written with each chapter the author had given you a soundtrack to listen along with, each one must have been carefully chosen, they all went along very nicely, Thankyou for that. Max is on a mission in this one, I loved the action sequences, the emotional moments were very moving, Highly recommended to all 5/5 Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Downpour-The-Em...

My review of Will & Wonder (Jonah & Lily's story, Blood & Light prequel) by Rue Volley from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Will & wonder (The story of Jonah & Lily, Blood & Light Prequel)Author: Rue VolleyFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: This is a prequel to the Blood & Light vampire series."Will & Wonder" is the backstory on Jonah & Lily, their origin, and how they came to be. This story is wrapped in a veil of madness and is definitely twisted in nature. Love, treachery, and many questions are answered as to who they are, how they are connected to Rue and Joshua and why Valon changed foreverThe ReviewI love Jonah so was hoping that the author would write a little something just about Lily & him, Loved how this story takes us way back to the beginning and how they came into this world and how they were found and shown love and brought up for a wee while, before it all changed and they became the Jonah and Lily we love in Blood & Light, We also have Joshua in this book, (not a big part but every part with Joshua is a blessing) I was on tenterhooks throughout this book, thinking oh no so that is why they were like they were in Blood & Light series, I can understand it abit better now, If you loved the Blood & Light series, this is a must read, I would highly recommend this to all, 6/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Will-Wonder-Sto...

Birth of a Vampire (Blood & Light prequel) by Rue Volley from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Birth of a Vampire, (Blood & Light prequel)Author: Rue VolleyFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: Birth of a Vampire is a prequel to the Blood & Light vampire series. Mia is a rogue vampire struggling with the reality of her life and her circumstance in a house that never quite feels like a home. This is a twisted tale of a mind coming to grips with reality and explores what Mia is - a not fully formed vampire - and how she ended up at the circus. The ReviewI love all The Blood & Light Series, my all time favourite character is Joshua Barrington from this series of books, it has so many great characters in it and a prequel can only have more of the same right, So I thought lets give this one a go, I wasn’t wrong, in this one we meet Mia, a wonderful character in the series, we find out about Mia’s life and how she came to be, the mixed up world of Mia was truly that, a mixed up menagerie of thoughts and I loved it, I was pulled in from the start and felt Sorry for Mia, this book totally rocks and will play with your mind, We also get to see Jonah and Lily in all their splendour, I will be recommending this to all my friends and family,, it’s a great short read, 6/5
