My Review of Creator's Dream by M.J Higgy from Julie Newberry

Ebook: Creator’s Dream
Author: M.J. Higgy
Fiction, Children’s ,
This review may contain spoilers
I was given this by the author for an honest review
Summary: Blanco Village lived upto its billing of being the most boring place in Great Britain; This caused a huge headache for Chi-Chester Limes.
The ReviewI read this to my 6 year old son and he loved it, Chi-Chester Limes works in his shop selling paint to all in Blanco Village, Unfortunately every house was White, until one night that all changed, but there is a twist in the tale, a little magic to brighten up the village, My son loved this, he loves magic in his stories and this definitely had that, On every page there was a drawing to help show the child what was happening at every stage of the book, I am looking forward to other books by the this author, so is my son. It is just the right length that the child will not get bored, and it all rhymes really well, which I believe helps a child to learn better, but that's just my opinion. Would highly recommend this one to all with children aged 5 right through to 12, sounds silly, but my eldest daughter enjoyed this too, 5/5

The ReviewFirst things first, I have to say this, I have been honoured to have read this series before many of you, I am deeply upset that this is the very last in the series, I can only hope that it comes out in paperback, as I would love to have the whole set together.OK lets talk about Saigon, What a man, What a story, I LOVE this one, I say this on every one but it is true, they get better with each one in the series and this is definitely the best one, no wonder Miss Volley left this one until last, Saigon takes us on his journey of his twisted sordid life, he is reading his life story to us and explaining all about his first meeting with Izzy, and when he came face to face with her demons, Man alive that was hot, In this book Miss Volley has wrapped up the whole series very nicely, it all makes perfect sense, I think this one is the Hottest & Dirtiest of the whole collection, I loved it, Miss Volley explains it all in such great detail, There is no end to Rue’s talent, I don’t want to give too much away but it is wrapped up so nice, you understand all about the whole series, There are twists in the tale, that once read will make the series more than just a collection of awesome books, they become as One, This series is definitely for Over 18’s ONLY, Your not going to be Sorry reading the whole collection, one of the best things about this series is not having to wait too long for the next part, They will all be out by the end of February, I will be recommending this to all my friends, 6/5

Zoe & Zak and The Ghost Leopard Cosmic Blast Banner   Zoe & Zak and the Ghost Leopard Book CoverZoe & Zak and the Ghost LeopardImagine you're totally lost in a strange city with no idea where you are and no way home. Now imagine that elephants and snake charmers start telling you that you've been chosen to save the world. Would you even believe them? What would you do? Zoe Guire isn't sure. Having that elephant talk to her was really weird, and, as a rule, Zoe doesn't do weird. Except the thing is, when Zoe goes along on her mom's business trip to India, things get very weird, very quickly. Soon after she arrives, Zoe finds herself tagging alongside a kid named Zak, lost in a crazy city, with no money and no way home. And those are the least of Zoe's troubles. Because if she's to believe the scary-looking snake charmer guy sitting in the corner, she and Zak have been chosen -- chosen to protect some kind of mythical animal called the Ghost Leopard from who knows what. Now, the further they get into the mountains, the more crazily impossible things get. Carpets fly and statues talk and if either Zoe or Zak want to make it back to their parents, or the sixth grade, or anything even close to normal, they're going to have to make some new friends, learn some new tricks, and listen, really listen to that talking elephant. Because if they don't, the world will never be the same again. Join Zoe and Zak as they journey high into the Himalayas to a place few have been and even fewer have returned to tell about it. My review of The Citizens by LM Smith from Julie Newberry

Ebook: The CitizensAuthor: LM SmithFiction, This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary  Imagine a town where you can stay out as late as you want, wake up when it suits you, you never have to go to work, and everything is free for the taking. Sounds perfect right? But what if you can’t remember where you are or how you got there? What if you can’t ever leave? And what if the only other people around are hostages, just like you? Would you still want to stay?Jasmine Marshall certainly didn’t think so until she met Justin Beck; a dashing active-duty member of the United States Army and fellow hostage. With him around life in Kolob might not be so bad after all … or so she thought. There are vampires and psychics at the breakfast table! Disturbing acts of torture and senseless violence are commonplace. Biochemical warfare is a very real threat, and the town’s mayor is an elusive mad-scientist obsessed with his own theories about December 21, 2012!In a place where one has everything to gain and nothing to lose, one thing reigns true: nothing in Kolob is ever as it seems. The ReviewI loved this book, Something about the way that a whole new world has been created, makes you think, what would you do? There were so many twists and turns in this book, it will have you on the edge of your seat or in my case bed, you never knew when they were coming for you, I loved how the writer wrote this, it was action packed and had you completely enthralled with all the characters, I can’t believe it ended like it did, I am so looking forward to reading book 2 The Refugees, Highly recommended to all who love a good book that pulls them in and won’t let you go, 6/5  Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Citizens-Jazz-N...

Lilyann is in a race against time to save her town and coven. Will she survive the coming dangers, with her heart and neck intact? It all comes down to this one night...All Hallows Eve.**Compulsion has been re-edited and new material has been added**The ReviewI loved Haunted Moon, so loved it when Compulsion was finally re-edited and released, I was not disappointed, Compulsion has lived up to all my expectations and more from this author, The characters each had their part to play and the author portrayed them beautifully, I loved the family dynamic even when they were under attack, Lilyann Moon didn’t understand why she was left the farm from her beloved grandma, why were they all given the jewellery? I Loved the action packed into the All Hallows eve scene, I adore Mason, can’t wait to read more about him, the plot line was fantastic, it had you on the edge of your seat, I am really looking forward to the next one in this series, I would highly recommend this to everyone, my daughter will be reading it as soon as she has finished the book she is on 6/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Compulsion-Cove...

My Review of The Sands of Time by Dianna Hardy from Julie Newberry

Ebook: The Sands of Time (The Witching Pen Novella’s)Author: Dianna HardyFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: Seven days ago, Elizabeth May tried to commit suicide. She was found by Paul, her husband, who took her under his wing and back to their home. But the attempted suicide is not Elizabeth's main problem - Elizabeth can't remember who she is, or a single thing about her life beyond the past week.Plagued by nightmares about a familiar black panther, and a terrifying snow leopard, she is convinced that the dreams are trying to show her something important, and is determined to regain her memories, one way or another.Meanwhile, Pueblo - the demon blood-bonded to the witch, Amy - is going insane trying to find her. Amy disappeared one week ago, and it seems not even their bond is strong enough to penetrate whatever magic hides her.As Pueblo enlists the help of angels and demons alike, Elizabeth begins to piece together parts of her forgotten life. But what she uncovers may just have her wanting to turn away from who she really is ... for good. The ReviewI liked this one a lot, we got to meet the same characters as in the first book, but now we were focused on Amy & Pueblo, my favourite characters from book 1, I love the bond that each couple seems to have, The author has caught exactly how I would imagine that bond to be like, The plot line was again a work of genius, just like the first one, I loved it so much I have the next book, The Demon Bride on my TBR list, Highly recommend to anyone after a fantastic love story, 5/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/The-Witchs-Guar...

My review of The Witch's Guardian by Elizabeth Kolodziej from Julie Newberry

Ebook: The Witch’s GuardianAuthor: Elizabeth J. KolodziejFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for an honest reviewSummary: It’s all business and lust when a sultry demon comes in to town and Macsen Edmunds can’t seem to keep his mouth from hitting that preverbal floor. With curves like that he’s lucky he hasn’t had a heart attack yet! However, his best friend and last witch in world, Faith Scott, is still MIA; making Mac all the more vulnerable for a little extra attention. When the demon, Serena, asks for his help in a little game of cat and mouse, which involves stealing back a painting she once stole with Trent Callen, the story becomes even more intriguing. Trent? The cat burglar type? Mac can’t believe it!It is one big delicious meal waiting for him to sink his canines in. To top it off, Serena knows all about guardians and offers to show him the ropes if he does this tiny favour for her.But demons aren’t the most trust worthy of the paranormal species. And his heart is already swooning. Can he keep it together? Or will Mac bargain with more than some hurt pride? The ReviewI am a naughty girl, I have not read The Last Witch Series which is what this book is from, I liked this book a lot and because of that I have stuck the whole series on my TBR list, The writer has written this very well, I enjoyed the plot line a lot, There was intrigue and twists & turns, Bring on the rest of the series, would love to know more about the characters in this one, highly recommended to all readers, might be an idea to read the series first though, so you know what is going on, and who is who, It took me a minute to realise what was going on but after that, I really got hooked in, 4.5/5 Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/The-Witchs-Guar...

Join Kaylen, Sebastian and Johnny as they battle for their future as well as all of mankind. This book is graphic in nature with scenes of violence and very steamy sex. 18+The ReviewYowzer, This is one hot read, I can’t believe this is the last one in the series, boo hoo, Sebastian is not the same as he was in the last book in the this series, Two Bites, and Kaylen has to find out what has happened to him, why is he like he is? What has possessed him to become this evil monster? when in the last books he would have done anything for Kaylen, Johnny, an unlikely hero after what he did in book 2, comes to Elizabeth’s rescue, for a price, of course, this is a hot read from start to finish, I have loved this series and I am deeply upset that it is at an end, I love the way this author writes, she has you hooked from the start and just reels you in til the end, Highly recommended, 5/5Buy link & where to find the authorAmazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/Three-Vampire-F...
