Interview with P.G. Forte, author of Finders Keepers
If someone looked at your browsing history right now, what kind of
things would we find.
Cremation urns, cookie recipes, "how to plant coconuts on lava", "the battle of the Oak King and Holly King", pitbulls, bamboo beach houses, ho'opono.
If you could write about any subject that is near and dear to your heart, what would it be and why?
I want to write a humorous book about dealing with dementia. Because the people who are providing care for someone like that need all the humor they can get.
Do you have a favorite song, album, or playlist to write to?

What was the first thing you did after the debut of the first book you wrote?
I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't do too much. I was still too much in shock.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Song lyrics. Is it so hard to write a song that makes sense? Or one in which the tenses aren't constantly changing? My kids frequently beg me not to listen to the words, but I tell them that if the words aren't supposed to make sense they shouldn't be there.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?Spoiling my dog.
What was your favorite book as a teen? On the Night of the Seventh Moon, by Victoria Holt, These Old Shades, by Georgette Heyer, The Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolkien
What book are you reading right now? With Strings Attached by Kelly Jamieson, Nobody's Angel by Stacy Gail and What a Girl Wants by Selena Robins. It's been a slow month. I have a lot of catching up to do. :)
Optional questions :)
Favorite Meal: either butternut squash ravioli at Checkers in Calistoga or the tan-tan noodles at Long Life Veggie House in Berkeley.
Favorite Drink (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) Coffee? Wine? I have to choose? No.
Sweet or Salty snacks? Really hate choosing. I can't imagine life without either one.
All time favorite movie The Butcher's Wife. It's sexy, funny, paranormal and set partially in New York City. The plot is complicated as hell and all the characters are flawed. I love it!
Best book to movie adaption
Well, that depends. I thought the first LOTR movie was amazing in that it looked just exactly the way I'd always imagined it. Of course, I feel the same could be said of most adaptations of Pride and Prejudice. One movie that I thought was vastly superior to the book is The Natural. Loved the movie, hated the book.
Worst book to movie adaption Almost all of them. The more I love a book, the more likely it is that I'll be disappointed with the movie. I'm a purist. I sit there in the theater grousing, "That's not how that line goes!" P.G. Forte's bio
Love without Limits, Romance without Rules! Life's more fun when you play outside the lines.
I wrote my first serialized story when I was still in my teens. The sexy, adventure tales were very popular at my oh-so-proper, all girls, Catholic High School, where they helped to liven up otherwise dull classes.
Even if my teachers didn't always think so.

Originally a Jersey Girl, I currently reside on the Extreme Left Coast. When I'm not pestering my husband for his help in researching scenes for my books, or being entertained by my two vastly amusing adult children, I can be found serving the needs and whims of either my characters or my cats.
It's a thankless job, but someone's gotta do it.

An exciting new series featuring Mike "Primetown" Brown, a character from her popular

The eighth year was no different--until he was drugged by a woman and woke up to her questions about what had happened eight years ago in Afghanistan. CIA attorney Eva Salinas has her own theory behind what happened to Mike's team--which included her husband--in Afghanistan eight years ago, and she's determined to prove foul play. Though she doesn't trust him, Mike is the only person she can turn to for help. Under an assumed name, Eva convinces Mike to assemble a new team and go after the traitor who screwed up both their lives. Read an Excerpt Cindy Gerard Bio
The only thing Cindy had in mind when she started writing her first book was finishing it. The issue of actually selling it came much later. Only after she made that life-altering first sale did she realize that one book would never be enough. Now, over 20 books and numerous awards later, Cindy laughingly admits that she can barely remember life before...well, was there life before writing?
Actually, yes there was, and still is. A professional career woman, Cindy is a trainer for the Iowa Department of Human Services, a position she states is both challenging and rewarding. "Human Services is a front-line, real-life event. Everything about the job is immediate, from serving families in crisis, to assisting staff with difficult situations, to meeting tension-fraught deadlines."
Cindy's writing has netted her spots on bestseller lists, numerous RT nominations and awards, the Colorado Romance Writers Award of Excellence, a National Reader's Choice Award and two RITA nominations.
Between writing and working full time you wouldn't think Cindy would have much time for anything else. And while she does find her work and her writing rewarding, there does have to be more. Cindy has more. Much more. She is happily married to the perfect man. Tom's a cowboy, ladies!
Both Tom and Cindy enjoy gardening and have recently expanded their annual beds into a perennial garden. Cindy says she can hardly wait for spring and the promise of all that reawakening and the colorful blooms.
In addition to the horses, the Gerards have two dogs, Ellie and Boomer, who pretty much get anything they want. Tom and Cindy have one son, Kyle, who, after years of keeping them in suspense, found Eileen, the perfect woman.

My review of The Double Gun Dealer Series (So Far) by Rue Volley from Julie Newberry

Ebook: SALEM (Double Gun Series Novella, #2)
Author: Rue Volley
Fiction, Paranormal,
This review may contain spoilers
I was given this by the author for an honest review
Summary: For Brian, life is boring...well, except for the hallucinations and lack of sleep, and oh yeah, the job he has a love/hate relationship with.
Brian is a genius in his field, creating new bio weapons for a company he has no love for, but feels trapped in. He is a loner, has been since his childhood, but longs for a relationship of any kind. His sexual needs are met mostly with his vivid imagination, or perhaps they are real. Who can tell? Along with the hallucinations comes a glimpse into the real world Brian is caught up in, one that a beautiful woman, by the name of AVA, is eager to teach him about. "SALEM" is book 2 in the Double Gun Dealer series and takes you into the origin of Brian a.k.a "Salem", letting you know where he came from and where he is going. This series is graphic in nature with violence, intense language, sexual situations and does not come with ice water, but should. 18+ MALVS
The Review
OMG, another great novella in this series, this is yet another sexy story from the world of Rue Volley, loving this series so far, can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series, in this one we have Ava again and Salem (Brian), we hear how Ava finds him and tries to make him understand what he is, I love how Brian’s mind works, Are his sexual encounters real or imaginary? Trying to work this out, had me on my toes all through this book, I thought the first paragraph was brilliant, it got me hooked straight away, very well written, blunt and to the point, I love the cover on this book, it really made me visualise what Salem looked like, so that it was easier for me to watch it in my head, while I was reading it, Salem seems to have his wits about him, which I like, I would definitely recommend this to my friends, 5/5

Summary: Marcy has a crappy job at a bar, one she would love to leave, but cannot afford to give up. She also has to endure a creepy neighbour who is a bit too enamoured with her, but she just upgraded her life by moving "uptown" as opposed to "down" so the thought of moving again is also a no-go. Then in walks "LONDON", a mysterious stranger with a beautiful accent and all the right things for Marcy...right up until Hell follows him, literally. As things unravel and passions ignite Marcy finds herself transforming into something she may have always suspected herself of being, explaining so many things in her life. Will she take the plunge and accept her new powers? Will she let LONDON feed her carnal needs? Find out as "LIN" comes into her own in book #3 of the Double Gun Dealer series, where Demon Hunter's do it better.
The Review
I love this series more & more with each book I read, I love Lin, she is so kick ass it just can’t be true, in this book, we find out how she came to be and the fact that she had Mr Hotness (London) chasing her down & saving her life, Love the relationship these two had, The sex was Awesome & out of this world.
Love this sentence, “but I held It in, knowing I would probably become a loud ass freak with him soon enough” which leads us to an awesome sex scene, I am totally falling in love with London, anyway back to Lin, The author really gets Lin and pulls her down to the barest bones and makes us feel totally Sorry for her, she has a crappy job, a real perv of a neighbour, but she handles them all, she even copes with coming up against demons, which brings her out of her shell completely and turns her totally kick ass, I can’t wait to read London, the next in the series, if it’s anything like this, we are in for a treat, Highly recommended to all when it comes out, not long now, 10/5

Summary: London, 1948.
Ethan was born into a life of a whore. His mother was one and his father a repeat customer. He has never known love, but longs too. Then along comes a beautiful woman by the name of "IZZY" who is about to rock his world in more ways than one, showing him that what he thought was truth was but a lie and that Hell always finds you.
This is book #4 in the DGD series and is for adult readers only with explicit language, sex scenes and violence. MALSV +18.
The Review
OMG, it’s London, Mr Hotness himself, this was one hot book, my fingers are still singed and my kindle needs time to recuperate before I use it again, that thing was smoking hot!!!!
In this one, book 4, we get to meet London and learn more about him and how he became a Hunter, Don’t want to give too much away, but I suggest as soon as you get this, you get a stiff cold one and get yourself snuggled in bed and enjoy, worked for me, Rue Volley has only gone and outdone herself this time, I didn’t think she could get any better than Joshua Barrington from Blood & Light, but I am happy to say she has just about reached perfection, loving London, It has to have the best start to a book ever, It pulls you in, then your hooked, you won’t want to put it down, there are many twists & turns as you find out about London’s prior life, some of his customers are not what they seem, This one will have you wanting more, Can’t wait for the next in the Series Izzy, 6/5
