WIP Thursday!
It's WIP Thursday and I've got a few things to share. A few. A friend of mine said if I didn't stop the manic pace at which I've been writing I'll burn out. I don't want to admit she's right, mostly because that would mean I'd be arguing with characters who literally keep me awake at night telling me their stories. But in a way she is. Those characters who won't shut up are the ones making it hard to sleep. Yep. My brain is too full. I'm not complaining. Far from it. Just saying, I'm pooped.
So what's coming up for me?
Next week my fourth Glow book comes out. Here Without You will be available for your reading pleasure. Here's a little bit about the book and an excerpt because I'm feeling nice. Grin.

Love doesn’t always happen according to plan.
Some guys have all the luck and some guys love the pain. Slash Gunderson knows that feeling well. His place behind the drums for Glow is a dream come true. Can he accept his need for kink and the man who makes his heart beat?
Hiram Moline loves his job as the head of security for Glow. He’s also in love with Slash. There’s one major glitch -- someone has been sending Slash threatening letters. Hiram’s not about to let anything happen to Slash. Can he convince Slash they’ve got something strong before the stalker gets the upper hand?
EXCERPT TIME!!!
“You don’t get it.” Hiram shifted his weight and moved his hands to Leo’s thighs.
“There are so many facets of Leo that you don’t see. I do. I see them. You think we just fuck… it’s more than that to me. You’ve got a strength I admire.”
Not five minutes earlier, Hiram had wanted to give Slash a swift kick in the ass. Now he saw the scared side of Leo. He wanted to kiss him and make things better, then give him a clap upside the head for being so thick. “I don’t do emotional. You know that. But you bring out something in me that wants to protect you.”
“You’re the security figure. You protect all of us. I’d be shocked if you didn’t.”
Hiram gritted his teeth. The man would be the death of him. “Come on. Let’s wash all that shit off you.” Hiram tugged Leo off the counter and led him to the bathroom. “I can’t talk to you when you’re smeared.”
“You don’t like…”
Hiram pressed Leo against the bathroom door and kissed the response from his mouth. Leo fought him for a moment, then softened beneath Hiram. He groaned and wrapped his arms around Hiram. Hiram groaned, and his cock twitched behind his zipper. Now this, being tangled up with Leo, this was what he needed. He rocked his hips, grinding his dick against Leo’s. The fame, the makeup, the image, none of it mattered to Hiram. He’d been delicate about his feelings for Leo. Maybe it was time to be blunt.
Hiram broke the kiss first. “Love the way you taste.” He brushed his nose against Leo’s. “I like to look at you, not that crap on your face. There’s a sexy man underneath all that stuff, and he turns me on.”
Phew! Talk about hot...yeah I like those men. So what else is happening? I've got the wolfie story that is a Glow Kid book 3/4 of the way done. I'm actually pretty excited about that. Moving on to Strong Hans next. MM yumminess. The next up is slated to be Tiger Lily's story. That's the plan anyway. With all that said, it's time for me to head to the bat cave. 3/4 isn't 4/4 and I'd like to get wolfie done soon. Enjoy and let me know what you think of the books!

The Cover Faery Visited!!
The cover faery aka Renee George stopped by and left me with a fantastic cover for Here Without You . This is the fourth of the Glow books and the first without an elemental as a protagonist. The fun part about the cover is Slash totally evokes the over-the-top punkiness of the band. Renee captured what I wanted so well.
Here's the cover and the blurb! Check it out!

Sunday Snog ~ Wrapped Around
It's Sunday Snoggin' Time again and thanks to Victoria Blisse for having such a fun thing to post on Sundays. Click the banner above or right here to get to the other posts. But first, read mine. Grin. What's my snog? Just a fun little kiss from Wrapped Around. Yes, it's a Christmas story, but in this heat, a little ice and peppermint really hits the spot.
White Hot Christmas: Wrapped Around
Changeling Press M/M, Holiday, Shibari, Anal sex, BDSM, Spanking, Short Story Available here!Luc loves his role fronting the band Glow. He loves the adoration of the fans, the energy in the crowd, but it's Christmas. No one likes a Christmas alone.
Taygan's free spirit resists taming -- except when it comes to Luc. Luc's one hundred percent human. Taygan is all air elemental. He needs his space and freedom, but he'll do whatever it takes to make Luc happy, including giving up his space and freedom to make Luc's holiday one he'll never forget -- complete with the real Santa, peppermint candy, and lots of hot sex!
And now for that snog!!
“Santa brought what I wanted.” Tears burned behind his eyes. “Don’t know how he knew, but he did.” Just don’t leave again.
“Are you glad?”
Luc shook his head. “Glad? I’m stupefied. I thought you were in Alaska learning to crab fish or whatever it was you were doing.”
“I learned. Sort of.” Tay shrugged. He’d have to work his ass off to make Luc see he wasn’t back on a fluke or because he got bored. “I got lonely and realized my element isn’t the only beacon in my life. I want to be wherever you are.”
“But --”
Tay couldn’t help himself and bridged the gap between them. He placed the box in Luc’s hands and pressed a kiss to his lips. The scratch of Luc’s stubble bit into Tay’s cheek, and he loved every moment of it. He licked the seam of Luc’s mouth, needing more from Luc. Luc tensed, then placed his hand on Tay’s hip, drawing him closer. He sighed, allowing Tay deeper. Taygan groaned. Luc tasted of man, spice and sweat, the perfect combination.
Luc broke the kiss first. “Need you.”

Shameless Summer and You!
Thanks to Jen at Red Hot Books, Brie at Romance Around the Corner & Michelle at Michelle's Book Blog for putting this on. Visit them if you don't already!
This shameless summer hop celebrates those white hot books that are favorites. You know, the ones that require a fan and a glass of something chilly when reading. As you can see above, the book I chose is one of my first.
Raylan believed himself unworthy of love until he met Chase. Chase brought out Raylan’s natural need to control and the power to force submission. But time and distance make having a relationship hard. Can Raylan prove to Chase they have what it takes for love to last through this Christmas and every other Christmas for the rest of their lives?
Chase found the muse for his songs in Raylan. Each time they touch, kiss, make love, music fills his soul. But working odd gigs to make ends meet while Raylan photographs rock and roll royalty isn’t beneficial to Chase’s creativity. Can he convince Raylan they’re better off together than apart?
So what do you have to do? Leave a comment. Which book is your fave so far? Tell me why. Then leave your name and email so I can contact you if you win and you're in the hat for a copy of
I'll bet, now that you've read the post and commented, you want to follow the rest of the tour? I thought you might. Grin. Here's the link for the rest of the hop:

Not Quite WIP Thurs and NSFW
I was going to write a WIP Thursday blog, but I came across this and it reminded me of more than one love scene I'd written. I like Ian Somerhalder, but this frantic, gotta-have-it-right-now, sex is hot! Yum!

Lori Foster Reader and Author Get Together
Okay, so actually I was going to call this post what I did on my weekend vacation but that didn't sound nearly as cool. Shrug. Most of the time, I don't sound cool.
The Lori Foster Reader and Author Event is one of the premier events to attend. Why? Because it's like hanging out with a ton of your favorite girlfriends who also happen to be authors. Yes. And it rocks. It's very PG rated, but really, do you NEED to have X rated all the time? Nah.
I left early on Thursday because I wanted to be there in time to put my stuff in the goody bags on Friday. Let me tell you. It was worth it, but man there was a LOT in those bags. Took the 20 or so folks (including me) about 3 hours to fill 500 or so bags. Yeah, that's a lot of bags. What was in there? Bookmarks, chap sticks, book thongs, lots of post cards, post-it notes, book samplers, print books (yes, I said print books), candy... all that.
I don't have a picture of it, but imagine two women-one wanting to eat lunch, both more than a little tired (already), trying to figure out how to get to the Quiznos. I love Quiznos, BTW. Needless to say, we missed a turn, ended up across the freeway, and Linda McMaken and I had a freaking blast. We ended up at the Steak 'n' Shake where I swear she got the world's largest tea. But it was worth it.
Somehow I ended up on the Welcoming Committee, which was so much fun, with Donna MacMeans, Desiree Holt, Keri Stevens, and a couple other ladies whose names (sadly) I've forgotten (sad because I loved working with them). We were instructed by Donna to pass out "virgin beads". Grin. Beads for those who were new to the con this past year. So I was one of the shouting people. "Who is the virgin? I want you! I want YOUR virginity!" Grin. I was very popular. Got a lot of blushes, too.
On a side note, I took part in the raffle for One Way Farm (check that out, if you haven't already - it's an awesome thing they do). I put tickets in for the Donna MacMeans basket. Why? There was a bottle of wine with her book cover on it in there. And guess what? I won!!!! I wasn't smart enough to take a pic of the basket before I dismantled it. Meh. I was excited. Grin.
I then took part in the massive epub/POD/digital signing. Talk about the company of fantastic people! Kaenar Langford, JA Saare, Desiree Holt, Dana Marie Bell, Christina Wolfer, yeah, there was some great talent there.
I have no idea what time I finally calmed down Friday night, but I happily went to my room with my Signed copy of Archeron. Yeah, the Sherrilyn Kenyon book. I went to sleep a happy girl.
What did Saturday entail? Lots! I hung out with Stephanie 'Flash' Burke, D Renee Bagby, Cheryl Dragon, Brannan Black, Camille Anthony, Drea Beacraft,
Desiree Holt, Renee Vincent, the ladies of Turquoise Morning Press, Kelli Collins from Ellora's Cave, Moni Draper from Liquid Silver Books, my dear friend, Linda McMacken, as well as the Ladies of Book Obsessed Chicks.
I did some pitching, some freaking out (try pitching to seven people. kinda scary), had some supper, listening to everyone else win prizes, donned a cowboy hat,
cracked up with Flash and D Renee, and the BOC. Yeah, it was worth it.
One of the best parts of the night had to be when I hung out with Virg Nelson. Started out talking at the cowboy party.
We chatted at the table, moved to the atrium still talking, I kind of did another pitch (yeah, not sure how that happened), ended up hanging out outside with Gayle Donnelly and Robyn Mackenzie, Lydia Michaels and Erin McCarthy. Yeah, fangirl moment. Jennifer Mathis was out there, too and we had a blast. Talked necromancers, vampires, and racing books. Oh and Amish Vampires. Yes, it was eclectic. I know it was after midnight when I finally crashed. Well after midnight.
The next morning I was mistaken for Anne Rainey and saw a charcoal truck overturn. All in all, it was a good time.
Oh and I made a total fool of myself, but what's new? I'll leave you with that photo. Grin.
