Ten Line Tuesday ~ Savage Protector

Since the Tuesday Studs are no more, I thought I'd do a new feature - Ten Line Tuesday. Ten lines from my latest WIP. This week, the WIP is Savage Protector. It's my take on Strong Hans with a bdsm slant. I hope you enjoy!

“What about you? Why are you telling me this?”

“I like you Hans. More than I should. I know you figured me out. I came into this group because I thought I liked danger. What I liked was you.”

Liked him? Big old heart? Pietro had to be toying with him. “I won’t tell you when I’ll strike. You’ll use it against me.”

“I understand. You’re right, I could.” He sighed. “Trust must be earned. Starting today, I’m ready to earn yours.”

Uh-huh. Hans scoped out the landscape of the room. His bedroom. At least he had his books. He fell backwards onto the heap of blankets he called a bed. If there was going to be a fight, then he’d plan out precisely when he’d strike.

Sooooo...Now What?

If you've read the buzz going around, you might know about the issue with photos. I'm going to state here and now, I messed up. Yes. I've been posting photos for Foxy Friday and Tuesday Studs because I thought getting them from Google was okay. It's not. Because of that, Tuesday Studs and Foxy Friday as well as Suit Up Sunday will cease to exist. Stinks because those were fun to post. Fun, but I also look at it this way, stealing photos - which by the letter of the law it was - is like stealing my books. Okay, I'm not stealing my books, but pirates are. I don't want people asking me for books 'to review' only to have them send them to pirate sites because they didn't like it, didn't want it, thought it should be passed along. That's not fair. That's the money I use to buy food for my family being taken away so someone can get a free book.

Works the same way for the photographers. I'm using photos I don't have the right to use. Doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it easy to kill those posts. I mean, who doesn't like a good hot guy pic? The photographer who is having their work thieved. So I'm sorry to have to do this. Tuesday Studs is out until further notice. Foxy Friday, although fun, has to be put back in the foxhole. Suit Up Sunday will have to wait for another gala. The party is over.

I'll still have the other usual posts, but probably with a few less photos - unless I own them or bought them. Thanks for your understanding and please continue to follow the blog and all I do. I appreciate your support.

Luc shook his head. "Glad? I'm stupefied. I thought you were in Alaska learning to crab fish or whatever it was you were doing."

"I learned. Sort of." Tay shrugged. He'd have to work his ass off to make Luc see he wasn't back on a fluke or because he got bored. "I got lonely and realized my element isn't the only beacon in my life. I want to be wherever you are."

"But --"

Tay couldn't help himself and bridged the gap between them. He placed the box in Luc's hands and pressed a kiss to his lips. The scratch of Luc's stubble bit into Tay's cheek, and he loved every moment of it. He licked the seam of Luc's mouth, needing more from Luc. Luc tensed, then placed his hand on Tay's hip, drawing him closer. He sighed, allowing Tay deeper. Taygan groaned. Luc tasted of man, spice and sweat, the perfect combination.

Luc broke the kiss first. "Need you."

"Yes." In a blur, Taygan unzipped and yanked his pants to his ankles. He kicked out of his jeans and knelt on the bed. "Take what you want."

Behind him, Luc growled. Open-handed, Luc placed three quick swats on Tay's bare ass. "You always did like commando."

"Free ballin' means you get quicker access." Tay wriggled his ass in an invitation. "Mark me. I can't wait any longer."

WIP Thursday ... A Little Late

I didn't actually forget about WIP Thursday, just been up to my eyeballs. With what?

Strong Hans is almost done. Yep. Savage Protector. I'm excited. Love these boys. ..er...men. Grin.

The next plan is to get moving on either Callum's story or Tiger Lily. Whoever Talks first, gets their story told first.

WIP Thursday!

This post is more of a drive-by post as I'm busy in the bat cave writing away. Hey, gotta write when the muse wants to talk. Gotta. Grin.

So what's happening? Between all those hops I've been doing, I've managed 8k on Savage Protector which is fantastic. Thinking it should be around 15k so right on target. I've mapped out another in the Challenge series and still have Tiger Lily talking to me. I'm also listening to Callum chatter away. See? I've got lots of people talking to me. Gotta get the words all written down. And if I'm lucky, I'll get back to the boys from Permanent and get their story down. Grin. Thanks for reading and I'm sorry this is quick.
