WIP Thursday on Friday!

I'm hanging out over at the Menagerie Today, but first I thought I'd post the WIP Thursday post today. If you haven't commented on the Angels and Demons post yesterday, make sure you do. It's totally worth it!

So what's been happening and what's on the agenda. Grin. Lots!

I turned in the next Glow book, Wild Flower. It's still very paranormal, and very hot. In fact, there's a second story coming out of this one, too. A cousin who happens to be a wolf shifter wants his story told. Who am I to tell him otherwise? I'll keep you posted as to when Wild Flower comes out. Should be August from Changeling.

Speaking of sequels, I've got a Razor's Edge story coming out sometime soon called, Make Me. It's part of my Challenge Me series. The sequel, Show Me has been turned in and a third story, Take Me has been outlined as you read this. They are short stories, but packed with heat. Grin.

I keep saying I'm working on Tiger Lily's story from Forever Wicked: Always. I am, but I've had a couple of things that needed to go first. Call me quirky. Up first, my other Forever Wicked title, Strong Hans, which is tentatively being titled, Savage Protector. The guy wields a big hammer. Grin. That's happening first.

Then I've been given a task. Yes, a throw down. Stephanie Burke found a photo and she's tossed down the challenge. I'm rising to meet the challenge. There's no mistaking I love racing. Very much so. She's thrown down the idea, with the egging on of Cheryl Dragon, of me writing a paramedic and a NASCAR driver. Something in the MMF category. Grin. I'm so there. Want to see the picture? Sure!



I'll get back to Tiger Lily. Can't forget her. But a throw down is a throw down. Grin. I'm off to work on what's in the works and to attempt to make headway on stuff. Angels and Demons Coming Around!

We're talking about Angels and Demons for this blog hop and I thought for my part of the hop I'd share my Angel story that has a demon in it for flavor. Fallen is my contribution to the Angel realm. Here's a little bit about it and where you can get a copy.

“The man you fell for was foolish. He lost out and I’m damned glad.” Ty cupped her jaw. “This probably sounds like another lame-ass pick-up line, but I don’t want to fuck up my chance by making you think I want a quickie. I want so much more.”

“You do?”

“Absolutely.” Ty closed his eyes and lowered his lips to hers.

The moment his mouth fastened onto hers, Livia’s knees went weak. She clutched his shirt and nibbled on his bottom lip. Sizzles flew along her nerve endings, and more cream coated her panties. She ground her core against his thigh, not caring if anyone saw her acting so forward. This kiss was too good to waste with good manners.

Ty held her tight in the crook of his arm and stroked the top edge of her wing with the fingers of his other hand. “Does touching your wings turn you on as much as I think it does? Does wonders for me.”

God, she couldn’t fall from grace all over again, but she could fall in love, couldn’t she? In theory anyone could fall in love, including her. Why was that thought so damned scary? Because being vulnerable wasn’t a place she liked to be unless it was her idea. And what about when he learned what she liked when she made love? Some guys couldn’t handle it.

“Livia? I’m not being kind because I want in your pants.” He rubbed his thumb along her chin. “I do very much want to make love to you, but I’d like to get to know you, too. You snagged my attention the moment you walked in the history building and smiled. Now you’re here where I never expected to see you, but I’m dead serious when I said I don’t want to look anywhere else.”

“Have you had too much to drink, or was the change in altitude too much too fast?”

What's happening? Today is the release day for Here Without You . I'm really excited about the book and hope you are too. Hiram and Slash finally have their story. Grin. Grab your copy today!

For those interested in the Glow band and their fans, I've turned in my first werewolf story which is really a wolf shifter who happens to own the label Glow is on. Yep. So this is a Glow Kid book. It was fun to write and I hope you enjoy it too.

I turned in a story for Razor's Edge Press which I've decided is part of a new loose series. So far it's called the Challenge series. Make Me revolves around a challenge and a strand of pearls. The one I'm working on right now is tentatively titled, Show Me - another challenge, but this time with a length of silk fabric. There will be a third short story in the series, just haven't started it yet. Grin.

Tay wrapped his legs tighter around Luc and whimpered. He needed this -- needed the domination with a sprinkle of pain, needed to know where he belonged and just how much he meant to Lucien, needed the words of love. Goddess, he felt like he’d been set free. He kissed Luc with renewed vigor.

“My element loves you,” he breathed. “I love you. Always have.”

Luc leaned back a moment and simply smiled at Tay. “There’s the guy I know.”

Although Luc hadn’t returned the sentiment, Tay’s confidence soared. Things weren’t certain, but for the first time in a long time he felt like he’d come home.

More strokes, higher power… Tay shivered. The orgasm built low in his belly. No more thinking, just feeling. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. “Luc.”

Luc grunted and pressed his forehead against Tay’s. “God, yes.”
