Ornithologiæ – a strange book of birds, out now
I’m absolutely over the moon to announce that ‘Ornithologiæ’ is out now, from Egaeus Press, featuring 27 stories and poems, including my fairytale folk horror story ‘Ravenbaby’.
This gorgeous collection is full of “strange, dark and hallucinatory” pieces, on the theme of birds, edited by Mark Beech, who was absolutely awesome to work with.

My creepy little tale of building your dreams ‘The Audsley Chimera’ is now available to listen to free at The Other Stories podcast.
It’s narrated by Justin Fife edited by Duncan Muggleton and has beautifully atmospheric music by Duncan Muggleton and Thom Robson. The fabulously unsettling episode illustration was provided by Luke Spooner of Carrion House.

Changing book prices
I’ve been using Lulu as a printer for over a decade now, with mixed experiences, but mostly it’s been favourable. Since their major blip in 2020 when they remodelled their site, they seem to have got back on top of things and have been great to work with in 2022.
