A Child of Szabo Release
Hi,
I have been really fortunate and today appear as guest author on a wonderful blog run by a Goodreads Librarian. I am so thrilled with the whole presentation and can't recommend this guy highly enough. He is so friendly and helpful and his love of books shines through. His blog justifiably has a great following so drop by and take a look.

A Child of Szabo
I'm delighted to announce the publication of my new novel, A Child of Szabo.
A teenage rebel with a tragic past is on the edge of the abyss. Offered one final chance of redemption by an enigmatic stranger, she is recruited into a secret society of assassins formed by Winston Churchill. She must battle for survival against unknown enemies in a do or die existence to become the best. Only then can she take out those who killed her family. Those who are now trying to kill her.
This novel is for adults and it is a thriller I hope you will enjoy.
Thanks.

New Book
I'm writing again. Strange, after such a long time. Anyhoo, the new novel will be a complete change. Adult Thriller. Twenty chapters penned and I think it's rather good. But then I would, wouldn't I?
Update;
The book is now penned. The dilemma is whether to submit to agents/how many and for how long? I may self publish but have to give it a chance first.

My Son the reader.
Several years ago I had the crazy idea to write a book for each of my two children. I wanted to give them each something very personal which had taken a lot of effort to create. Something special. A tiny piece of my heart and soul that they could always carry with them through life, whether physically or mentally. Something which would arm them with ideas, memories, inspiration.... should the need arise.
After deciding on a fantasy epic in which the main characters would be easily identifiable as representations of my Jack and Sophie (Jake West shares my son's initials and physicality's/Princess Zephany I thought was close enough to Sophie in name and spirit), the rest came easily.
Far too easily as it turns out for an unplanned third instalment soon had to be penned in order to complete the story.
.....Anyway, the point? Well, after years of suggestions, hints, bribery etc. a few weeks ago my now teenage son suddenly decided out of the blue that he was going to actually put his phone and Xbox down long enough to read them!
Chuffed? I don't think I've been that happy since Villa were promoted back to the Premier league.
And so it began. The nail-biting wait to hear what he thought. Absolutely nobody's opinion to date has mattered to me more.
In the end I needn't have worried. He flew through them with lightning speed and gusto. As my wife will testify he could often be seen reading well past midnight..... On a school night too I might add. And this from a lad who usually reads an average of one book every two months.
His verdict? He loved them. He actually reviewed them in a recent English exam.
It's something really quite extraordinary when your 15 year old says he has become your biggest fan.
I suppose now I need to continue working on Sophie?!
You never know.

Thanks
Over recent weeks I've tried to raise awareness of my novels by offering to give away free pdf files in return for reviews. It's hard to reach my target audience of teens so I was hoping to generate a little interest/some discussion in various groups and among site members.
I'd like to thank all those of you who have participated and I look forward to reading your thoughts and opinions.
If you're a teen/young adult and you'd like a free pdf file of book 1, just pms me with your preferred e-mail address. All I ask is that you review the book if you'd like books 2 and 3.

Another 5 star review
Very, very happy to have received another 5 star review on Amazon UK. Haven't quite cracked Goodreads but I'm so grateful to the readers for every single review or rating.
'Brilliant. Nothing more to say really. I was wondering if this series could get any better, and it just did. The dragons were immense. At times I was almost crying. This trilogy has everything but this book is the star of the show. I'll be looking out for more by this author that's for sure.'
