What a way to start the day ! Wonderful 5 star review ! 🙂
'This story is an absolute page turner. She was left an orphan being shuffled from one foster home to another. On her way out for being expelled from school, she is recruited into a secret society, where she finally becomes a strong and very independent woman.
She was a disturbed, troubled, lonely, volatile child, never able to settle on one place.
Become ruthless or become a victim.
This is very fast paced and exciting thriller you won't be able to put down.
I loved how the chapters would change from her training/operations to present day. It's very well written and great character development. Loved it .'

Offered one final chance of redemption by an enigmatic stranger, she is recruited into a secret society of assassins formed by Winston Churchill after the Second World War. It has been operating clandestinely for years. Protecting. Hunting. Killing.

With only a career civil servant as back-up, she unleashes hell and discovers the enemy is inside the wire. The stakes are larger than she could ever imagine but now she must battle for survival against known and unseen enemies in a do or die existence to become the best. For only then can she take out those who killed her family.

Hi all,
VERY excited to have engaged a fantastic narrator with over 100 audiobooks to his credit to work on producing the audio version of 'A Child of Szabo.'
I have set no time limits but I am really looking forward to hearing the finished product.

If I had one wish as an author, it's that membership of Goodreads would be mandatory. Then I would be able to post reviews like this;
'Loved this Book - My favourite two authors are Lee Child and David Baldacci. Dare I say M J Webb’s name in the same breath? He’s definitely on the right track. ‘A Child of Szabo’ had me gripped from the off. It had me totally invested in the characters. The story is well written with research extensively done to add real depth to a cracking read. Definitely recommend and look forward to a sequel.'

Hello, is anybody out there?
Once upon a time there was a struggling, penniless father of two little munchkins. He decided one day to heap more stress, pain and anxiety upon his world by becoming a self-published author. So, he penned a trilogy of books just for the teenagers they would become. Central were two 15 year old heroes they would identify with. And they would display attributes which would hopefully inspire his offspring in life (courage, honesty, loyalty, doing what is right...). The first books were inscribed as a gift for each and they would be tiny parts of their father they would always have, long after he was gone. The Jake West Trilogy was the result and his work was done.

A decade or so later the urge to write returned again. Only this time, he decided to pen a novel just for himself. Pure self-indulgence. Another review
I have received another review on my site by a non-Goodreads member. I really must insist they all join ! lol
Anyway, it was too good not to share so here it is;
"I received this book after work in the evening and despite my tiredness from the day, had finished it by bedtime.
One of those rare stories that grips you tighter than a good Netflix show. Unapologetically full on action, with a gritty, grounded feeling. Whilst the story was soundly and satisfyingly resolved, i was absolutely left wanting more from these characters and this intense world. 10/10"
Anyway, it was too good not to share so here it is;
