Updates and what lies ahead!
Whelp I just got the news that as of Feb 2025 Kindle Vella will be discontinued and I had to cancel my contract with one of my narrators. It sucks but life happens and I wish to work with them in a future project. But my book Supernatural Agency will be done by Nov 4th and the series will have all 3 done. For Kindle Vella all I had was Fur and Fang of Love but I didn't finish it. But I have plans for it to be continued for my 5 and 10 dollar Patreon and Ko-fi page members. I want to do something exclusive and fun for those. I've thought alot about what I wanted to do yeah it would be nice to do writing full time but I also love video games too. Writing is a fun hobby which is what some of these stupid book marketing scammers don't understand. It is my hobby not my job. It was getting irritating being bombarded with messages about people wanting me to promote my book for a fee or review my book for a fee. I left some of those groups since it was also getting depressing too if people would message me everytime I dropped my book link. There are more books coming such as My Demon Lover on the way. Heck I want to be active on my Patreon and Ko-fi more too since I want to do exclusive behind the scenes and some other stories not published in ebook form yet. Even thoughts on my books in italics too. So many ideas! I also love horror, cozy and rpg games too. I am way better and my allergies went away my birthday was Friday so it was fun streaming, gaming, and spending time with friends and my partners there will be more stuff in store. It was just depressing stuff happened at once. Also, ever since I moved in with my boyfriend things aren't as easy to afford on the last paycheck like half of it went to rent and groceries. Not exactly easy here and one marketer wanted to bitch about it not being as easy...no shit some of us live paycheck to paycheck just to afford rent, bills and groceries so it makes me angry when people say stuff like that. Heck, I've been here a year so far but it is full of firsts like the first time I've fired off fireworks. Like in Kansas certain fireworks are legal here like mortars unlike in Virginia. There is also more alcohol stores here too. I want to do some fun videos on it.
There are drawbacks to living in apartment though such as thin walls, one bathroom, and no washing machine and dryer. It can be sucky but it is worth it to have my own space. Even though I live with my boyfriend I can pretty much do what I want. Also was dealing with allergies and I tripped and one of my toe nails ripped off since it was in bad shape. So yeah. That can happen. Heck ever since I started the day job in May week days have been hard to produce content after work and write. I wished I spent more time enjoying content and writing instead I was stressed about getting a job when I was unemployed. But now that I am employed and don't have allergies alot I can write more!

They love going after me for some reason. I join groups to promote my books and these assholes take it as an opportunity to ask me for services I don’t have money for. I don’t pay for book marketing, promo services, reviews or digital marketing. Covers and developmental edits is all. They are jokes and now time to show you more bullshit they will say heck one tried to act like a romance scammer when I told the dumbass I wasn’t interested in his services like no means no jack ass and they all come from different countries.
Also they love to use AI to generate their posts even had a dumbass post: Generate me a blog post as a book marketer on Facebook that authors can reply to. Dude you totally use AI to generate your posts and don’t use your actual brains.

My Writing Journey so far!
Latest book but the journey is a long one not to mention I'm tired of getting asked the same stupid questions over and over again. Yes, I'm an author and I have written 26 books I started in 2011 and published some books and some weren't really ready for publication. The Killer Contract Agency was rewritten 3 times this latest time being the last since it is better then I could ever imagined. I've also taken down 9 of the AngelWitch series since I know with my new editor I can get it better rewritten and planned now. The reviews sucked for some but I released books that clearley needed work. Now I can rewrite, redo and make them better. I also make my own trailers and mockups with Canva Pro and have multiple audiobooks. I've also went wide since it didn't pay to stay in Kindle Unlimited for some authors it works out for some it doesn't. I have an Etsy shop, uploaded it to Draft2Digital, Ko-fi, Gumroad, even a discord shop. I've even taken up streaming on Twitch. Also, I've sold 200+ copies over the years, got some reviews and made I think less then 1k over my 14 years. I also have graduated college, worked part time and then full time. Being an author is more of a hobby for me. Word of mouth seems to work the best. I know I want to stream full time and be an author part time. I also have review copies of my books on Story orgin and Allautrhor promotes my book.
Paying for book promotions is a waste for me which is why I'll never hire someone to promote for me when I can do it while wearing my cat ears looking cuter. I've even used Ingram Spark for the first time and have a special hardcover edition of the Ghost Reaper boxed set link here!

New books out!!

When she goes on her first case she runs into Darrel Crichton who’s the evilest demon in the Angel Witch Utopia Realm. Finding out that she herself has the grace of an angel proves that she can shift into her new form and then back into her human form with ease. Chapter 1
I was sleeping peacefully dreaming of the life I was ready to lead. Silas was curled up next to me in his snow leopard form keeping me warm, and Alister was watching television down in the living room. It was a cool night, and I knew there was colder weather on the horizon.
I felt Silas shift on the bed and then I heard a hiss. I turned my head towards Silas, and he was on all fours with his teeth bared. I felt heat and the horrid smell of putrid death breathing in my face.
I turned my head to find the weight shift on my bed wasn’t Alister, but a grotesque demon trying to hypnotize me with sleep paralysis. I sighed, lifted my right hand, and snapped my fingers. The demon was launched off me and pinned to the ceiling.
I blinked my eyes a few times to focus and look at the demon. I’d never seen him before in any realm I’ve visited. I got out of bed and the demon’s eyes went wide. I was naked and the moonlight washed over me revealing the glow that sat atop my head.
“Angel.” He said in a grim gruff voice.
“Nephilim asshole, who are you?” I asked.
“You’re not who I’m looking for. I’m looking for the demon witch Layla.” He replied.
“You found her, now who are you?” I asked.
“You can’t be her you have a halo. The Layla I’m looking for is a vicious sort of witch with demon blood running through her veins. You look like a puny angel who’s out of her element in this world.” He replied.
“I’m not the one pinned to the ceiling asshole, try again.” I said.
“I’m Cyprian, and I know what Layla Firestar looks like, and you’re not her.” He replied.
Silas was standing in front of me still in his snow leopard form. His growl was low and ominous, but he was ready to pounce at a moments notice. I snapped my fingers, and the lights came on in the room.
I looked up at Cyprian and could see he wasn’t a run of the mill demon. His eyes were black, his pupils were red, and he was cloaked in black and silver robes. He gave me a death glare and put my hands on my hips.
“Let me know when you’re done staring at my breast.” I said.
“How are you an angel when you have a shifter standing in front of you guarding your naked body?” Cyprian asked.
“I told you already, I’m a Nephilim not a regular angel. Tell me why you came here?” I asked.
“I told you already. I’ve come for Layla Firestar.” Cyprian replied.
“Yes, why have you come for me?” I asked.
“I’ve come to take your head.” Cyprian replied.
“It’s right here.” I said pointing to my head.
“If you’re really Layla Firestar then I would’ve sensed it when I entered the room. Since I didn’t sense your true essence then you can’t be Layla Firestar.” Cyprian replied.
“I’m guessing you don’t know what this Layla Firestar looks like, or truly smells like, do you?” I asked.
“No, I’ve never met the famous Layla Firestar, but I know it can’t be you. You’re to meek, calm, and quiet.” Cyprian replied.
“Did you expect me to scream and run out of the room crying?” I asked.
“I expected you to be bigger.” Cyprian replied.
“Yet I have to point out that you’re the one pinned to the ceiling.” I said.
“Which is why you can’t be who you say you are.” Cyprian replied.
“Okay, I’ll let you off the ceiling and you can show me exactly who you are. I’ll get dressed before I let you down though, I don’t like how you’re staring at my body.” I said.
“Even for a liar you can be a sexy one.” Cyprian replied.
I left Silas to guard the demon pinned to the ceiling. I walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of black leather pants that were laced up the side with red leather string, a black leather corset with red leather string holding it together. I looked sexy and I knew it, but I had to get my hair tied up or else this idiot demon was going to rip it out.
I walked over to the nightstand beside my bed and grabbed my hair tie. I pulled my hair up in a messy bun and secured it with the hair tie before I slipped into my socks and combat boots. I didn’t care if I was in my own home or not, I wasn’t going to be ugly while fighting this intruding demon.
After taking my time getting dressed I got into a fighting stance. I snapped my fingers, and the demon was released from the ceiling. He dropped to the floor, but landed on his feet. We were now locked into a face off and I was growing bored.
“I’m waiting.” I said.
“Take me to Layla Firestar.” Cyprian said, and his eyes started to glow.
“I am Layla Firestar dipshit.” I replied.
“Impossible.” Cyprian said, and threw a spell ball of fire at me.
I reversed the fireball and hit him in the abdomen with it. He growled low in his raspy voice and held his bony hand out.
“You are not Layla Firestar. This is Layla Firestar.” He said holding up a holographic picture of Harley Calix.
He could see the confusion on my face and put the holographic picture away. He thought he was catching me off guard when he threw the second fireball, but I swatted it away like it was a pesky fly. He was growing angry, but I was growing annoyed.
“I want Layla Firestar NOW!” Cyprian said.
The sound of his voice was like a sonic boom and the whole house shook. This was all it took to wake the rest of the house. Silas let out a growl and all hell broke loose.
Cyprian didn’t like the thought of being deceived and I was sick of his antics. I did another spell and bound him, so he couldn’t throw anymore fireballs at me. He was struggling against the spell bindings when he fell to the floor with a loud thud hitting his head against the bedpost.
Cyprian was out cold when Alister, Harley, Roman, Noah, Izra, Camilla, and Nathan came barging into the room. Harley and Camilla were dressed identically to me, and staring at the demon on the floor.
“This is Cyprian something or other demon guy. He tried to give me sleep paralysis, but it didn’t work. He thinks Harley is me, and he’s looking for her face to my name.” I quickly explained.
“What does he want with me?” Harley asked.
“I’m not sure, but he wants Layla Firestar’s head.” I replied.
“Where would you like for him to go?” Roman asked.
“Dungeon please. We’re going to get some information out of this fool the right way.” I replied.
Roman, Izra, and Noah picked up Cyprian and carried him down into the dungeon. Alister checked me over to make sure I wasn’t harmed, and Silas was still in his leopard form. Harley and Camilla did a once over in the room to ensure nothing else was in there, and looked for the opening the demon came through.
“Find anything?” I asked.
“No, I have no clues here on how he got in.” Harley replied.
“I’ll go check the attic. I know it seems odd, but that’s the only place I can think of that’s open.” Camilla said.
“Good idea, take Nathan with you.” I replied.
Camilla and Nathan disappeared from the room and Silas shifted into his human form. He quickly got dressed and gave me a look of concern. I patted his hand and gave him a reassuring nod.
The three of us were about to go down into the dungeon when a loud shrill pierced through the house. Alister darted up the stairs to the attic before Silas and I could even follow him. Silas and I got to the top of the stairs and saw Camilla on the floor bleeding from her head.
Alister had an intruder pinned to the floor and Nathan was dangling from the window trying to pull himself back into the house. The intruder on the floor tried to fight against Alister’s tight grip and dug it’s nails into his arms. Alister lifted the intruder up six inches off the floor and slammed them back on the floor hard.
The intruders hood fell off and we could all see her face. She was a beautiful goddess-like creature. She had platinum blond hair, alabaster skin that was iridescent in the moonlit attic, and her tunic matched Cyprian’s.
“Do you think this is his mate?” Silas asked.
“Only one way to find out, but she needs to be bound.” I replied, and cast the binding spell.
Alister released his grasp on her, and let her limp body lay there on the floor. I’d never seen anything like this woman, but she had to be connected to Cyprian. Alister picked her up and carried her down the stairs out of the attic.
The woman started to stir in Alister’s arms. He looked at me and I gave him a nod. With lightning speed, he rushed down the rest of the stairs and down into the dungeon.
Silas and I rushed down to the dungeon, and we could hear deep growling and rattling bars. There was a low moaning coming from a cell and we approached it trying to figure out what was going on. With every growl there was an echoing moan like a conversation between the two.
I stood in a position to look into both cells. Cyprian was crouching down glaring at everyone until his eyes landed on me. I realized then that he was angry at me for not producing what he was looking for.
I gave him a kind smile and reached out for Harley’s arm. I pulled her into his line of sight and we both looked at him. He looked from Harley to me then back again.
“You’ve deceived me.” Cyprian said.
“I never deceived you, but you’ve got things mixed up. You showed me a hologram of Harley, but you asked for me.” I replied.
“You said she wasn’t in that room, and she was.” Cyprian said.
“She wasn’t in that room when you attacked me.” I replied.
“I’m looking for Layla Firestar.” Cyprian said in his low growling voice.
“We’ve found Layla Firestar Cyprian, kill her.” The female said in a singsong voice.
“She’s saying she’s Layla Firestar, and not the one we’ve got a picture of.” Cyprian said.
“Who cares, kill them all.” She said.
“If he could kill us all,” I said dramatically. “Do the two of you not realize that you’re in spell bound cages?” I asked.
The growling and moaning started again, and we all watched. I had no clue who this woman was, and her voice was grating on my nerves. The men in the room though seemed to be enchanted by her.

I redid my Wordpress blog!
I wanted a hub with pages and a place to write more and have fun with it. Essentially I have been re-evaluating what I want to do. After the last Ghost Reaper book is published I want to focus on articles, short stories, Youtube channel content for my main and gaming one and on streaming to Twitch more. Being an author is fun but I’ve made a lot of mistakes like publishing the AngelWitch series and not having a good editor. I unpublished it from Amazon, Draft2Digital, Ko-fi, Gumroad and my Discord shop. They needed more work and right now I can’t afford to have them redone yet so going to take a break so I can work on my stuff and afford to publish. Editing and cover art is the only thing I pay for tried all kinds of stuff but it didn’t work. Also authors should stay off Goodreads since it can suck to see people’s book being ripped a part. Some of the reviews left were horrible and it kinda got me down especially when I had one person one star all my books since I blocked them for trying to give me advice. Like people suck ass. Also the annoying ass book marketers don’t help had to turn my messages off due to them interrupting me at work and trying to sleep! I’ll still be writing just having stories and articles.

Ways I promote my book without hiring a book promo person!
As an Indie author the only thing I pay for is cover art and editing. I don’t pay for book promotions anymore since honestly they don’t make me any sales. I tried Facebook ads, instagram ads, Tiktok ones, even a so-called book promoter but it didn't work. Here are some ones that do work!
Tell family, friends and coworkers! I told my friends, family, coworkers, even people who I visit streams with it does work. Make Tiktok videos those are fun and you can post about your book with other book lovers. Upload videos about your book to Youtube. Post about your book on Instagram and Threads. There is even Bluesky, Hive, Tumblr, Facebook in some groups like the ones in your genre. For example I post about mine in reverse harem groups, and that is the genre I write in. I post in discords as well and have my own books in my discord server shop.
Never believe those annoying book promo scammers since they are full of shit honestly. Heck one even pointed out my book didn’t have enough reviews like no shit it is a new book. Also, post about it in your newsletter if you have one those are important since it let’s people know about your book. Reviews and sales come in time you can’t just put one book out and expect massive sales like these asshole book promo people say. It takes time and publishing more books another thing you can do is keep posting behind the scenes stuff and pictures. Heck I have all these book marketing books on my kindle. I'll read them and do reviews for the blog, Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok accounts. That way less people will have to suffer with these awful book marketing scammers! I get so sick of those seems like every new release there is idiots trying to take my money. Also, you can use Canva pro to create a book trailer and mock up. The dumbass marketers said my book trailer isn’t one, and then they give me a garbage trailer with a voiceover like no. You should target your book trailer to the readers in your genre which I know more than they do! They called Canva not professional which is bs since it was them just saying that to use their awful services. There is also the fake author book promo scammer scam. Heck I can write all about the book marketing scams out there. And I have so I won’t go into detail anymore. I’ve also been dealing with allergies lately and waiting on the editing for the third Ghost Reaper book. I can’t wait then I’m making it into a boxed set with all 3 books.

Heck I want to make a book based off the Busch Gardens ride Dark Castle I love the castle, werewolf and escaping it seems like a fun story to write. Why I turned off my Facebook page messages and how I marketed my book!
After every book is live there comes the next steps suck as promoting a book. I dropped my new book in reader groups specifically reverse harem then I was bored so I dropped it everywhere else. But that is my mistake since besides the usual so many stupid book marketers kept messaging me daily. Heck today got to a point where when I blocked one the dickhead then messaged me on his other profile to say to not block him. The dude was bashing my banner and then said my book trailer wasn’t one the worst part is I was at work. The jackass was trying to convince me of his services and whats worse is those book trailers had an AI voiceover. Like no my book trailer is targeted toward my genre.
I also have a mock up and I already know how to promote my books. I’m not paying for book promotion since when I tried it I didn’t get any sales. Heck I’m sticking to promoting my book on X, Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube. Everywhere I can I even told friends and family about it and everyone. You can always tell if it is a scam book marketer the dumbass this morning had 2 guy first names and a girls picture. They are idiots like most of them can’t read I have my links on my page, the genre on my page, how many books I’ve written which is 24.
Also, they usually say drop links, ask about challenges, how many books you have written it goes on and on. Like I made my book trailer from Canva pro and they totally shitted on it saying that is not a trailer and some of the examples they gave me was an AI voiceover and some broll. Like quit being mean about my book stuff just because you want to bash it to sell me stuff. I am not paying money for one of their shitty, boring book trailers they don’t know how to market worth shit. It is BS when they say they can produce massive sales too. I hate them so I turned off my Facebook messages for now so they will get the hint to leave me alone. I’m pretty much publishing a book a month at this point and the sales and reviews comes with time. It is annoying how they were commenting about why a month old book doesn’t have reviews it takes time to gain a following. You can’t just promote one book and expect it to take off this takes time which is what these idiots don’t understand. I do have a Facebook group for readers and a discord the links are in the back of the book. I got so sick and tired of all these marketers asking for the link to my book since it is a new one and they weren’t going to buy it anyway. Instead one of them was jerky and pointed out it wasn’t doing well due to marketing and promotion. It is a new fucking book that stuff takes time.
Heck not just those but fellow authors too. But they just messaged me to promote their stupid marketer. I have gotten sick of those too like just because you wrote a book doesn’t mean you need to connect with me just because I write. Those authors were most likely fake profiles too set up to suggest their bs marketer, get money and disappear. Why is someone who is traditional published contacting an indie author anyway it doesn’t make sense? Also, one made fun of my little reviews and was saying your sales aren’t going well compared to my own I have more then 6,000 reivews. Okay, I don’t care lol. Also their whole thing was to sell me to get to use their marketer not all of us has money for the stuff. Like really leave us authors alone about marketing books some of us have plans and free ways for it. Done with ranting since ever since my book released people are annoying me about it. I don’t want to drop a link for review I want readers and not people trying to sell me their stupid services.

Description:
Harley Calix is a demon anthologist in the realm of Luxor. She’s madly in love with her boyfriend Roman, who’s a vampire. They live their days in Cain’s Palace left to them by Layla Firestar, who’s the ghost reaper.
Harley and Roman are contacted by Daemon for a job to find his roommate and best friend DeMarcus. Everything changes in less than twenty-four hours. Possession, finding a new realm, and fighting against the evilest creatures they’d ever seen.
Everything shifts when the panty dropping Noah Jones isn’t who he says he is. Will they be able to untangle the multiple spirits that have been spell bound together to create these demons, or will they get caught up in the extracurricular activities and become demons themselves?
Chapter 1:
I never wanted to be possessed by a ghost, but then again I didn’t have a choice. I should have known it was coming when Roman started acting different. He told me at one point it was meant to be, and I’d always be his before he downed his whiskey in one gulp. But I’m getting off track here, let me start from the beginning where, and when this all started.
Roman and I were doing a paranormal investigation late into the night. It was getting close to three in the morning, and the witching hour was weighing on us. That’s when we pulled into a driveway of an old, abandoned house, and decided to investigate it.
Normally this wouldn’t be a place that would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, but this house had an eerie feeling. This feeling started even before we got out of the car, but decided to investigate it further. Roman gave me that look of curiosity and fear mixed together.
We stood side by side looking at the house and the surrounding areas, and knew we weren’t amongst regular ghosts. Whatever was here was dark, yet inviting. Roman took my hand and pulled it to his lips to kiss it like he did before we went into any ghost infested house.
“Come on Harley, it’s time for us to earn our paycheck.” Roman said.
I smiled at him, and we approached the house with extreme caution. When we got to the front door it opened before we even touched the knob. This was a sign of a powerful haunting.
Roman looked inside the door frame and everything looked dark. He stepped over the threshold, and I followed him inside. When we cleared the door it slammed shut behind us.
After the door slammed shut the room lit up like a 1920’s lounge with a bar. There seemed to be a theme to the room where everyone was dressed in modern formal attire with the exception of one man. He stood out and my eyes zoned in on him immediately.
This man was tall with rusty almost brown hair, and his eyes drank me in like a cocktail. He stared at my body like it was a feast to be shared. When he sauntered over to us he held out his hand to Roman first.
“Welcome to The Roxette Lounge and Bar. My name is Noah Jones, and if there’s anything you two need just let me know.” He said introducing himself.
Noah had Roman’s hand in his, but his eyes never left mine. This man was every woman’s dream even if she had a specific type, she was dreaming about him. Roman cleared his throat and looked at me. I knew my face was flushed when he gave me that questioning look.
“I’m Roman Wilson and this is Harley Calix my girlfriend.” He replied introducing the two of us.
“Roman Wilson, hmm, that name sounds very familiar to me. Have we met before?” Noah asked.
“I don’t think so. I’m sure I would have remembered you.” Roman replied.
“You’re a necro witch, are you not?” Noah asked.
“I am, how did you know that?” Roman asked, confusion written all over his face.
“Ah, I make it my business to know about all the creatures here in Luxor. You’ve come from a long line of necromancers and witches alike. Your people are very entuned with the dead, and well I enjoy their company just the same.” Noah replied.
“Are all of these people dead?” I asked, looking around at the people who paid us no mind.
“No, they’re all just friends of mine.” Noah replied.
“So, are any of them demon possessed?” I asked bluntly.
Noah gave off a laugh and it was like music to my ears. I could feel it from my hair follicles down to my toes. Everything about this man beckoned to all of my senses, and I wanted more of it.
“Would the two of you like a drink?” Noah asked, ignoring my earlier question.
“I’d like one, but we’ve got somewhere we’ve got to be. Harley, are you ready?” Roman asked.
“Yes.” I replied, but kept my eyes trained on Noah.
“Well, you two must come again and bring your friends. Harley I can’t tell you what a pleasure it is to meet you. I hope you come again very soon.” Noah said, taking my hand in his.
Before I could react Noah was kissing the knuckles of my right hand, and I was breathing heavily. This man was talking to my inner sex goddess not to my human form, and he knew just how to do it. Roman took my left hand in his and gave it a squeeze, and I was brought back to the reason we stopped here in the first place.
Noah released my hand and walked to the door behind us. Roman and I both turned around just as Noah opened the door to the outside world. Roman took a few steps and pulled me along, and Noah stopped him.
“Do bring your friends when you return tomorrow night. I’d like to introduce you to a new way of life.” Noah said.
“Thank you.” Roman said, and we stepped over the threshold to the outside world.
The door slammed shut behind us and we both flinched. Roman took a step down off the porch and I followed him with my hand still in his. When we got to the bottom step we looked around and squinted.
“What time is it?” I asked.
“It’s almost five in the morning.” Roman replied.
“It didn’t feel like we were in there for almost two hours.” I said.
“No, it didn’t, but we’ll get into that when we get back to the house.” Roman replied.
“Looks like we’re chasing the dawn then.” I said.
Roman walked me back to the car with a tight grasp on my hand. He had a fear in his eyes, like he was going to lose me to a demon lover named Noah Jones. He opened the car door, and I got in.
I looked back at the house and saw a shift in the curtains. I knew that Noah had been watching us the whole time, and he was still beckoning to me even though I wasn’t in the old house anymore. Roman got into the car and slammed the door shut.
“I don’t want you to ever come back here. I know I sound bossy, but save it. I saw how he was looking at you, and you at him.” Roman said.
“You’re my boyfriend not my father Roman, and we found this place together.” I replied, trying to keep my tone even.
“I know, but he’s a demon and he’s trying to seduce you. If you can’t see that then we’ve got a problem.” Roman said.
“I know he’s a demon Roman, and in case you forgot I’m a demon hunter. My whole role in life is to exercise demon possessed creatures and set them free. Or did you forget that?” I asked.
“I didn’t forget, but there’s something off about him. He’s not an average demon.” Roman replied.
“I know, and he’s watching us through that window right there. I think it’s best if we leave before he comes back out and invites us in.” I said.
Roman looked up and could see the curtains moving, but there wasn’t anyone standing there. He could see only what Noah was allowing him to see just the way I could only see what Noah allowed me to see. Roman got the hint and started the car.
We pulled into the driveway of our shared home an hour later. Our home was a mansion taken over by the Ghost Reaper’s of Luxor. It was led by Layla Firestar and her husbands who were born in the Earth Realm.
Layla created this home for all creatures who had extra talents. Roman is a vampire and ghost talker on his father’s side, and a witch necromancer on his mother’s side. I’m a ghost reaper and a scholar on demon possession.
I can spot a demon and a possessed creature without anything so much as the naked eye. As soon as I saw Noah Jones I knew he was a demon, but what demon or his motive I didn’t know. He was a mystery I was itching to solve.
When we got out of the car we went right into the house to give a rundown of what we saw and how we handled it. The entire house was present for the rundown since we had been gone for so long. Roman and I sat side by side and explained what we saw at the old house.
When we were done explaining the house I excused myself for some much-needed rest and down time. I went to my room and stripped out of my gear and went to the bathroom. I stood under the shower letting the hot water hit my body and soothing out my thoughts.
There were a few things in knew for sure. Noah Jones was a demon, he had a fortress, and he was up to something. All of those people in that room were like zombies who wandered around that room mindless. What I didn’t know was what else Noah Jones was.
I wanted to know everything about him. Where he as from, who he was entangled with, and who his family was. If I had to guess I’d say he was either a vampire or a werewolf. But for now, I needed rest, and time to process my thoughts.
