The site is a mess and is due for a complete overhaul, I’m months and months behind in posting (including letting you know about new releases and – OMG – A FREAKING AUREALIS AWARD what the even), but good things are coming.

Yeah, look, work has been hektik the last two weeks and sufficient sleep has not been a Thing. But! Today I finished with my marking for the year – shouldn’t have any more marking now until at least mid March?! – and Decoherence, Liana Brooks’ third Time & Shadows book, is currently with her for one final proofread before it comes back to me for final formatting then the print copy proof, so I have a few days of breathing space right now.

A Song To Encourage You Along your Way

In news that will shock no one who’s caught glimpse of my to-do list this month, it’s been a bit of a shocking week.

I said on Instagram last Sunday that I was hoping to be potato: covered in weeds, but still thriving.

Not sure I can say I *thrived* through the week, but I did *survive*, and I even managed to somehow get done all of the most important/urgent things, and am presently on track with the overwhelming number of deadlines in my life right now. Phew.
