Paranormal Romance Just for You: Worlds Apart

The happy day is here. I can officially announce that Worlds Apart is for SALE!Marlene Dotterer_Worlds Apart [2] (1)

I still need to get it up on Kobo, but it’s at Smashwords and Amazon. Give Smashwords a few more weeks to get it out to Apple, B&N, etc.

If you’re going to buy it from Amazon, consider using my store to do it. It all helps the author.

Comparing Ob/Gyn to Midwifery Care (side-by-side): What Would Each Care Be Like For You? | Your Baby Booty

This is a wonderful, descriptive video interview, explaining the differences between OBs and midwives. I think I’ll have all my students watch this video in the first class.

Happy Birth Day, Hannah

I admit to some giddiness this morning. Welcome to my lovely new granddaughter, Hannah Joy. She’s the first girl on my side of the family. She has two brothers and four male cousins. Good luck, Hannah!

Celebrate

This is what I had for my birthday:

We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. That’s as wild as it gets this year.

Oh, and our house is being painted. Yellow. With white trim. And a red door. It’s going to be so cool.

It’s Only Words, and Words Are All I Have

I’ve been thinking about words lately. I should probably think about them more than I do, considering I’m a writer, but I guess my brain is too full of almost 58 years of living. There was a time in my life when words fascinated me. I was that delicate age when a girl is beginning to glimpse the woman she will become, and wondering what it all means. What it will all bring. I wrote these trembling feelings in pages of flowery poetry that didn’t rhyme, but flowed from my restless brain with si...
