Find Your Purpose!
You may think that your life is nothing special. I can tell you that there is not
a person on earth who is not meant to manifest a wonderful and profound life.
There are no exceptions. You might think that you forgot to get into the talented
gifted line but the truth is that no mistakes were made in heaven as we prepared
and planned for our lives here on earth. That is the nature of heaven – order and
perfection. We all have a unique but profound life that we have been born to live.
What are your passions? What gift(s) are your meant to leave the world? In what
way are you meant to bless the world in which we live? As you find, identify and
develop your gifts, you will find the greatest joy that is possible to experience
iIn this life. You were not born to be a nobody – you were born to be a mortal
version of the special you that existed in heaven prior to your birth. I hope that
you will share your gifts with the world and realize a life of promise that is meant
to be yours!

You Can Never Cross the Ocean Unless You Have the Courage to Lose Sight of the Shore…
I don’t know about you but personal growth always feels like a remodeling project to me – with too many walls being demolished and the new construction always fraught with delays. Yet, when the work is done, I never fail to look back and feel a heart full of gratitude.
Personal growth is such a blessing! Self improvement always requires a leap of faith and courage. Although we may see massive benefits to changing, where we are is usually where we feel most comfortable. God is our most ardent fan. He is mindful of our capacity and our abilities. No one knows us better – not even ourselves. You only know yourself from a mortal perspective. He knows your mortal history and your pre-mortal history. He knows your magnificence! Best of all, He believes in You!!
Are you feeling a need for some changes? Perhaps God is nudging you! Listen to your heart and allow yourself to really feel deeply what God is trying to speak to your spirit. Then use His guidance to start the step by step process that He will provide. He will help you across your “oceans” and you will never regret the journey.

We Were Not Placed on this Earth to Walk Alone…Nurture Your Relationships
“I can do it myself!” Have you ever heard that statement from a little child? Have you ever thought it to yourself? I am guilty of wanting to “Do it all myself” a lot. When others don’t seem inclined to want to help me, it makes it all the easier for my thought patterns to go back to that rut of “I Can Do it Myself”. In heaven, we were amazingly adept at being cohesive and sharing our love, care and support. On earth, many of us are too well versed in the art of isolating ourselves and withholding love and support. I have read that the opposite of love is not hate – it is apathy. I agree with that statement. How many wonderful things go undone and important causes blow away because no one is willing to care? When we our transition back to heaven, we will not care about what our bank accounts looked like or how famous we were. We will care about our relationships and those we love. This life is short, precious and is meant to be shared. I hope that this week will be full of caring and sharing moments for you!

Sometimes God is Missing from our Lives…
I don’t know about you, but there have been times in my life when I really needed God and it just seemed like he wasn’t there for me. Then, as I reflected on my relationship with God, I realized that I was giving lip service to the idea of my relationship with God but I wasn’t really including Him. I was asking Him for help and to solve my problems but I wasn’t listening to Him or trying to use His guidance. All I was really doing was wanting God to follow my instructions and do things my way. I’m not proud that it took a near death experience for me to recognize how inferior my ways were and how clearly superior God’s intelligence was in comparison to my own. Even now, I have to catch myself at times. It is easy to fall back into bad habits. I don’t tell God what to do but I am not always as good as I need to be at listening and seeking His will. If you have the same problem, I hope you will take the time to listen to the best friend and mentor any of us could ever have – our Father in heaven.

God Can Calm All Storms…
I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that there is always some sort of “storm” in my life. I think it could also be called personal growth or personal challenges. Less than three months ago, I sat in an intensive care unit beside the hospital bed of my granddaughter as her young body fought for life. Today, I watch her at home as she recovers and rebuilds her strength. I know without the smallest doubt that she and I and all of our family were assisted by angels throughout those very difficult days. Later today, I will sit in front of my computer and I will attempt to learn a new powerful software so that I can make my book available online again. For you, today’s challenge will be different. Some of my challenges have been relatively easy to overcome (I am hoping that is the case with the new software today!). Others, have been very difficult – such as the 15 years it took to overcome my 24/7 migraines. I know now that life never was meant to be a cake walk. However, whether our current challenge is more similar to a sprint or a marathon – God can and will help us through it all. There was a time when I was experiencing my migraine headaches that I wondered if I would ever know another day of life without skull crushing pain. Fifteen years is a very long time to have a headache. Yet, a few days of headache pain would have never created the health advocate that I am today. Now, as I look back on that experience, it is easy to see that I was given incredible blessings through that trial. Somehow, I was enabled to function much better than I should have been able to function and step by step I was eventually led to the people and answers I needed to find health and healing once again. Storms will be a consistent part of life but God can and will calm them all – if we ask and allow. Sometimes, they may not disappear from our lives but where they remain, God will take us by the hand and help us walk above the waves.

Creativity is Intelligence Having Fun!
We are born creators. You might say we a are chip off of the old block! God is most definitely a Creator and we are most definitely His children! I not only witnessed God’s creative perfection in heaven but I also witnessed our amazing intelligence and the glorious abilities and strengths that we have been endowed with. I believe that we each have an innate desire to create. What I create may be different than what you create but that’s part of the plan. We each have our own unique contribution to make to this world! I hope and pray that you are manifesting your positive creative abilities and enjoying every minute!

Beauty Begins the Moment You Decide to be Yourself…

Is it difficult for you to be yourself? Do you have a hard time believing that you are beautiful? I believe it is such a blessing that we each are so unique! Even identical twins have their own one-of-a-kind fingerprint! I think this is just one way that God communicates to us His belief in us and His ability to know us and love us each for ourselves! If you find believing in yourself or your beauty challenging, I hope you will make time for yourself and go to your Creator in prayer. Ask God to bless you with an understanding of His love for you and the gifts He has given you. Ask Him to help you see yourself as He sees you. If you are willing to watch and listen, I know that you will find your experience a blessing in your life!

In God We Trust…
With the presidential election coming up in our near future, I have spent more than a few moments thinking about the state of our country and the principles this nation was founded on. Our Founding Fathers knew who to seek guidance from. They knew the blessings that come from seeking God in their lives. They were not perfect men but they were godly men. Our country’s strength was and ever will be determined by our trust in God. May we all trust in God and may we elect those officials who do the same.

Whatever the Mind Can Believe and Conceive, the Mind Can Achieve…
In Proverbs 23 it says, ” For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. Think of the heart – the emotions and the conviction that comes from the heart. The scripture seems to address what a man is. However, I believe that it also talks to what a man (any individual) can become. Is there something in your heart that you are passionate about? A cause? A quest? I hope you will listen to the positive whisperings of your heart – those whisperings that speak of doing wonderful and positive things! That is your divine guidance speaking to you! That is your spirit and your Creator attempting to communicate the amazing potential that you are meant to realize! Remember, if you can believe it, you can achieve it!

When We Create Peace and Harmony and Balance in Our Minds, We Will Find it in Our Lives
Our minds are a powerful tool! Give yourself one week. Pay attention to your thoughts. Are your thoughts really on track with what you want in your life? Take time to write down your thoughts! Then, if your thoughts need some redirection, start working at replacing those negative and destructive thoughts with positive and joyful thoughts! You will be amazed at the difference you will see!
