And be quick about it

Picture How do you spend your me-time in the car? Did it make NickMom's Top 9? Today I'm over on NickMom with the Top 9 Things You Can Only Do When You're Alone in the Car. #5: Enjoy a 3-minute ugly cry. Did I miss anything?

If you're still reading this, you'll love the Short Attention Span Gift Guide on BonBon Break. Here's your chance to win Suburban Haiku and other books for the attentionally challenged. That's a thing, right?

Talking shop

Picture Click through to Amazon. You were going to anyway. How’s your Cyber Monday going? Are you struggling to find just the perfect thing for your mom,
grandmom, mother-in-law, and mom friends? Lucky for you, A Cookie Before Dinner has a handy dandy gift guide for all kinds of moms. Hint, hint, Mr. Price. Oh, and thank you, Cookie, for including haiku!

Speaking of a certain little haiku book, I am flattered and delighted by this review by Welcome to the Bundle. I would quote you something, but I love every word. And the macaroni. Go see for your own self.

Prepare ye

Picture Click the pic for more Suburban Haiku on NickMom. Don't look now, but it's the holidays. Snap out of that Halloween candy sugar shock and face it, Mamas. Lucky for you, I'm always here to help.
Is your Santa strategy rock solid? Kids these days are a bunch of skeptics who'd rather take Siri's word over yours. (Siri, is Santa real? "Really. You sleigh me." Hmm....) I'm divulging my proven-effective Santa-saving strategy over on Great Moments in Parenting. Bonus tip: Ignore the eye roll. Good luck out there. Have you started your holiday shopping yet? Why not pick up your girlfriend gifts first? They're always the most easy and fun, and you get to check something off your list before you even have a list. The Jayhawk Mommy has some fun finds to get you started. Ahem.
