Tweens and teens and college. Oh my!

Are you seeing the prom pictures on Facebook? Get ready for the next wave: cap and gown. I know they say this in all the speeches, but parents, please believe me when I tell you this is the beginning of something, not the end. And you best get yourselves prepared. (Don't worry about the kids. All they need is a trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they'll be set.)

Umm... what happened here?

We’ve recently noticed a few … let’s call them “gaps” in our younger boy’s socialization. The moment I looked at my own child and exclaimed, “Didn’t your mother ever tell you…?!” I realized we had a problem. ​

I'm coming clean on 15 Things We Kind of Screwed Up with Our Second Kid on Babble, which is ironic because apparently I forgot to teach this kid what "clean" means.
