Holiday Reading Suggestions with Kate Pawson Studer and W*n Books!

First, a couple of quick notes. A ginormous THANK YOU to everyone who had a hand in nominating me for the 2013 Favorite Author award at the awesome Grave Tells site (and thanks to Liz for passing along the link). Voting begins on Sunday, and I'll pass along the voting link when it's up, but it's an honor to be nominated alongside Lara Adrian, Joey W. Hill, Gabrielle Bisset, Donya Lynne, and S.E. Jakes. (I'm there wearing my Susannah Sandlin hat.)

Also, as Suzanne (yeah, it gets co...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

Weekly Winners X 2 and a Scene Snippet Too

Blogger is behaving badly, so we'll see if we can get this up and going. I'm currently on the hunt for someone to handle the consolidation and migration of my three sites, so I hope by the new year things will be less scattered!

First, let me get this out of my system....Holy crap! Auburn's going to the national championship game! We were 3-8 last year, 0-8 in conference play. Okay, I'm done. No more football.

A few notes....I'm participating in a couple of big holiday giveaways. My home chapte...

Science, Meet Urban Fantasy with Anne Lippin and W*n a Book

Today, please help me extend a warm welcome to author (and my agency mate) Anne Lippin. Anne has stopped by today to talk about how easy it would be for us humans to morph into something altogether different. I'd like to morph into a woman who didn't have to work a day job--LOL. Seriously, though, I love Anne's post--you'd never know she's a guest-blogging newbie! [Okay, she got me with the bit about ovaries, eggs and Neil Diamond's young wife.] And I'm so turning lupin...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

New Releases Nov. 30-Dec. 6 and Readers Choice C*ntest

December is usually a slow month for new releases--except when it's not! I have my eye on the Dangerous Women anthology, although I'll admit the eye is at least partially cynical, at least until I see the full table of contents and decide if there's enough dangerous women authors included, or if it's mostly men writing about dangerous women. :-). And what's up with the covers of Malice and Cloak and Spider? I like them...both. I think they were separated at birth.

What do you want...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

Need to Read? I'm Looking for You!

Have a Sunday stretching ahead of you with nothing to read? I'm looking for a few volunteers to read the first few "sneak peek" chapters of a new novel today--about 30 pages--and answer a few questions (general things like, whether you like the characters, if the opening of the story engaging, etc.). The first five to email me HERE and volunteer will get a mention in the book's acknowledgment page!

Also, did you know Kindle books make great gifts? ABSOLUTION, winner of the 2013 Holt Medallion...
