What are you doing online? I'm swearing off the computer today ( so I 'm posting from my phone -LOL). I will be back on Friday with a new guest!
Whether you share my faith or have your own, take a few moments to focus on the gifts of your life today. I wish you peace.

New Releases Dec. 21—Dec. 27 and Readers Choice C*ntest

As you might expect, this week is slow on new releases. Even so, there just might be a book or two on the list this week which will captivate your interest, because I know we've got some Jennifer Estep fans out there! And since this week's list is so short, let's make it a "winner's choice" contest--you can pick ANY new book from your wish list.
What do you want to read this week? As always, leave a comment telling me the book you’d most like to win, and maybe random.org will...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

Introducing Cedar Key--a New Setting for Adventure

Happy Sunday! It is raining so hard here in bucolic Auburn, Alabama, that I have suddenly developed lakefront property (as in, my back yard is a lake of standing water). The dogs are snoring downstairs, and it's a good day to get a lot of work done!

First, though, I wanted to share a place I daydream about. I'm not a beach person. I mean I am seriously not a beach person. If I get too much sun without sunblock, I break out in a rash. The glare of sunlight on sand hurts my eyes. I don't like be...

Q&A with Marina Myles and G*veaway

Please help me extend a warm Preternatura welcome to author Marina Myles today.  Marina is stopping by as part of her virtual book tour celebrating the release of her most recent book, Snow White and the Vampire, which was released on December 19 by Kensington.  Snow White and the Vampire is the second book in Marina’s The Cursed Princes series.
Although Marina Myles lives under the sunny skies of Arizona, she would reside in a historic manor house in foggy England if sh...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

Out Today -- Chenoire (Oh, Those Darned Louisiana Gator Hunters....Or Are They?)

I'm excited to welcome a new little one into the world--a novella, that is. Today's the release day for "Chenoire"!

Those of you who've been reading this blog for a while might have seen "Chenoire" in a slightly different form. It was originally written in the Sentinels world, but Susannah stole it from Suzanne, put her own spin on it, expanded it, and now it's a standalone novella.

I'll be touring it during January, so you'll be hearing lots about Zackary Prejean and gator hunting and St. Bern...

Cover Reveal: Lovely, Dark, and Deep!

Happy Tuesday! I had a guest blogger cancel on me at the last minute, so you're stuck with me today.

First, I'm up for Favorite Author for 2013 over at the awesome Grave Tells blog. Here's the link (thanks to Liz for sending it to me) to vote--it's one of the last categories, down at the bottom. Last time I looked, I was in last place--LOL. These things are always fun, but they're basically popularity contests, so I never go out and beat the bushes for votes. However, it's fun to be nominated...

New Releases December 14—December 20 and Readers Choice Contest

A quick note: I'm talking holidays over at Lady Scribes today and giving away the winner's choice of one of my books to a commenter. Head on over if you have a chance!

One sure-fire way to know that we are close to Christmas is that everyone seems to be going on a holiday schedule—including publishers.  This week is one of the lightest weeks for new releases in a long, long time but there are some winners in here!
What do you want to read this week? As always, leave a co...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>

Weekly Winners? It's That Time

Happy Sunday!

I'm frantically working toward a Monday deadline, so not much new today. I did want to get the winners announced, however. So if you see your name here, please email me at this address (click on link). If a print book, I'll need a physical mailing address. For digital, a good email. Then, go outside and play some for me today!

SUSAN won a mystery book or two from my TBR mountain for commenting on Kate Studer's guest post--thanks to all of you who shared your favorite holiday reads...

Building a Shifter World with Abby Niles and G*veaway

Gotta get in a little plug--I'm over at Marsha A. Moore's Illusions of Intimacy blog, having fun talking about the unique bonfire levees held each Christmas Eve in the Louisiana river parishes--it's one of my favorite holiday traditions, even if the stories about how they got started are kind of wild. AND I'm giving away a special treat to one commenter--a copy of the book The Cajun Night Before Christmas. Sure, you could give it to a favorite child in your life, but I bet y...<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>
