My Gerge3an Bounties for Ramadan 1432 :p
One thing I love about Ramadan is the gerge3an time! I await the gerge3an boxes we receive with anticipation and then devour their contents as dessert after futoor :p This year didn't disappoint. I've never written about what gerge3ainat I've received before and I've gotten pretty amazing ones, don't know why! Any ways I will post them here in the order they were received.
On Thursday we got the VIVA gerge3an from the VIVA Ghabga. Which I still didn't write about but will do soon. Thank you VIVA
Next came scoop a cone's ice cream gerge3an It was quite a good gerge3an if I may say so
Next came my cousin's first gerge3an. Cute baby Juju is only five months old and the gerge3an is bigger than her :*
I loved it! I also loved the fact that it had Swiss and British chocolate pieces
All the kakawat are lathetheen… kinder and Kit Kat for example.
I hate the nuts in the gerge3an. Especially if they are loose and salty and stain the chocolate, the chocolate taste would change for some reason. In Juju's gerge3an the nuts were a minority -thankfully- and in their own individual bag. No fuss, no mess, no staining. Perfect choice!
Salem Juju ya Allah… Khalha lomha Ya Allah :*
My sisters and not me got this tiny little gerge3an jar from Choowy Goowy! Its so cute, I couldn't resist adding it to the collection of gerge3anat especially since I ate most of it :p
See how tiny? Sooooo tiny! A bit too dry though but still cute.
Last but not least was Um 3azooz's amazing gerge3an for her boys.
I have to say that this shade of lime green is my absolute favorite color
Check out the card! The card is wonderful. It is like a mini folded story book.
Ya7leelhom 3zooz o A7mad Salem 3zooz Ya Allah Khallah lomah ya Allah salem A7mad Ya Allah Khallah lomah Ya Allah
Now for the wrapped box…
What do you think is inside? If you are thinking Kakaw o 7alaw think again
A box filled with tiny little ghraiba's! Very tasty ghraiba if I might add, perfect portions for tea or coffee! I loved the idea, very different o very very Nzaka! Thank you sooo much Um 3zooz :*
Now doorkom… how many gerge3an's did you recieve?

Our Gerge3an in Ramadan 1432
Every year in Ramadan we get ready for the gerge3an by getting out our Zebeel 'traditional woven basket'.
Our gerge3an this year is chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. Mako nuts or mokasarat. There are candies, bubble gums, marshmallows, and Chupa Chups lollipops too!
The problem is that my siblings, my parents, my husband, and I are too happy with the gerge3an we would be sneaking pieces of chocolate every now and then :S I doubt anything will remain for the kids.
Even as I was emptying the candy and chocolate bags into our gerge3an zbeel my parent's maid asked if it was '7aram' if she ate from the gerge3an? I told her it wasn't and she could eat if she wanted to. Ya3at el mara!
The gerge3an is now ready and waiting for the neighborhood kids. Taboon 7yakom Allah, garge3aw bel jabriya ge63a 9 :p
Scoop a Cone Gergai3an Gift
Friday night I got a call from my mother who asked if I knew a scoop a cone store. I told her I did so she informed me that I have received a box from them filled with ice cream and if she could take a bite maskeena.
She resisted taking a bite w3liya until I could come back home and take pictures, my parents are used to my blogging routine by now :p However I didn't get a chance to do so until Saturday afternoon to do so.
Inside the bag was a big ice cream box decorated with a little cute ribbon. It was Scoop a Cone's idea of a Qerqe3an gift for me
Inside was five scoops of different flavors: Chocolate, Mango, Strawberry Cheescake, Vanilla, and something that tasted like a mix of cinnamon and misteka.
There was also an envelope.
Inside was a menu and 3 cards. The cards are the ones you stamp whenever you buy a scoop and then you collect a free one after 3 cones if I am not mistaken.
We enjoyed the luscious ice cream scoops after futoor for dessert. Thank you scoop a cone for your generous and very delicious gerge3an gift. Kil 3am wentaw ebkhair

My purchases from We Expo
Of all the expos I've been to this year We Expo is by far my favorite!
I flew from one booth to another buying like mad :p
Min ygool ini sharait 3/4 elexpo? I had to go to the ATM machine outside and withdraw more money :p I will share some of my purchases… first I bought a dozen cupcakes from one more bite that I simply adore (post).
There were also many food stands, one that caught my eyes was the waffleish stand by a group of young Kuwaiti guys who were baking waffles and moving around the expo presenting them to people
This very cute earrings stand. I am a sucker for earrings and I had a hard time choosing what to buy. They were all very cute!
I took more than one pair. One of which are those very cute pizza earrings.
By the way the clown below even though he was on stilts and causing a bit of traffic but he had envelopes with him that he distributed around. Guess what were in the envelopes?
A cupon for 5 KD! To use for purchases in any booth! Nice idea! I used mine to buy my self earrings
I also liked those road signs…
Again the signs were crowding the walking space but they were useful.
I saw an innovative Qerqe3an designs stand. They had some good artistic pieces for sale.
Also saw a stand for gems and msabee7.
A booth for Beit Abdullah selling badges. I did purchase some. Yestahloon
I found this booth that sold the funkiest craziest stuff!
Its caled ashya2 and they have this amazing clock you hang in the corner of any surface at home. Totally my style!
Price tag? 3 KD! Ya balash mo? Check how beautiful it is on my flat screen at home!
and it doesn't obscure the screen's images at all! Perfect for telling the time while you are watching TV! I love love LOVE IT
If you like it and wish to buy it here is their information.
Ee I also saw this…
Camera lens coffee tumblers! I've been wanting those forever, so I bought my self one for my post-Ramadan breakfast days insha2 Allah.
Eyanin mo?
I also found this new Kuwaiti website that does online actions -free of charge- just like Ebay. Quite intriguing I would say.
The website is www.auction.com.kw if you are interested. Guess what I found for auction on their website?
Its the Booz collection chair I liked from this post (link). Nice mo? Good idea wallah.
I saw this BMW on display but I am not sure if its for display only or would it be included in a draw or something.
Last but not least, is this amazing booth. The Twenty Seven Booth.
I've seen these guys before in the Qraish Expo (post). This time however they were well equipped with tons of Tshirts.
They had an irrisestable offer: buy two tshirts for 5 KD! I am a sucker for Tshirts so I took my time purchasing two, one for me and one for Butootee. The proceeds of the sales go to the Aid of Somalia by the way.
When you open the box you will find these little carton guys with more carton pieces to attach later on.
This is my Tshirt. My sister wanted one for her self when she saw it.
Etshaweg mo? This is Butoote's Tshirt.
To see the entire Tshirt collection you can check their website.
To order you can contact them using the info below.
We Expo was a great expo indeed. Held in Movenpick hotel. I should have posted about it early Saturday morning but I didn't have the time. 7safa its over now but insha2 Allah we will get more exciting Expo's in the future
10 Things that Doesn't Make Sense in Mosalsalat Ramadan 1432
1- Profanities! Malat 3leech/3leek, chalb, etc.! When did it become OK to use so many profanities in the shows? 3aib 3lekom! A bit more class please.
2- Bgara! Every mother in law calls her channa Bgara! Are there women who call their channa's bgara and they don't even retaliate? Nor they neither their husbands? Wain ga3deen? It is not OK for a mother in law to call her channa any name, period.
3- Speaking of mothers in law, in two serieses the channa is actually the daughter of the sister of the mother in law. You would think there is a better way for aunts to treat their channa/nephew in this society. Ay shay mo?
4- Eating! Throughout the episode they eat lunch 500 times! Ma9arat! Don't we have any other activities in Kuwait to show for besides eating lunch?
5- Lunch is always machboos dyay. Every single mosalsal, every single lunch, its machboos dyay! Mako shay thani we eat? Maid? 9boor? M6abag Zbaidi? Marag Bamiya? Machboos la7am inzain? Min kither makalaw machboos dyay I began craving it over futoor!!!
6- In more than one series wives must feed their husbands while they are eating lunch. Every single meal. the mother in law would be watching and BAM she goes off in a fit of profanities! I never feel the urge to feed my husband, the love of my life, while we are eating lunch and if I do I wouldn't do it in front of my parents o ana atga9a3! Wain ga3deen? Is it just me?
7- Maram is always a jealous wife o elsan.ha metbaaree minha, and the husband bends backwards to prove his never dying love to her! Erm Maram what's your secret?
8- The excessive emphasis on money is just ridiculous! In every mosalsal there is one millionaire who people want to suck up to and the rest of the cast are poor and look for ways to exploit money off their millionaire relative. Ma 9arat!
9- Every millionaire is mean, rude, and spitting profanities all the time especially when poor relatives who are angels walking on earth ask for money. Also, the poor people seem to have no dignity at all, they take the abuse, bow their heads, and keep on as if nothing is wrong! Laish 3la Allah?
10- Every cool guy is hugging the phone at night whispering with his beloved girl. Don't you know that people now a days use facebook, twitter, BBM, and other types of media to communicate? Le meta ey'3azloon bel telephone ballah?

Review: B Villa, Al Bida'a
Remember my post about the soft opening of B Villa (post)?
Well I went to the opening with my dear friend Pink Girl. It is located right behind Alzomoroda on Al-Bidaa area and it is overlooking the sea.
Before we went inside we noticed the garden with the B Cafe label on top and the lovely candles scattered everywhere.
As we got inside we were greeted by the sweet Bushra & her daughter Anfal who welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of the Villa and its various sections.
On the first floor you will find the B Villa boutique and fitting room with various display hangers and counters beautifully decorated.
Lovely and unique fashion pieces.
Vintage and unique pieces. Check out this Chanel necklace
You find bunches of flowers everywhere.
Then it was time to go up the stairs to the second floor to view the rest of the Villa.
The Villa's staircase opens up on the lounge that is located in the first floor. A place to unwind, relax, watch TV, and chat.
Cosy, modern, and nicely decorated.

On the right the studio is located where the Yoga, Salsa, and Zumba classes will be held.

On the side of the studio there is a door leading to the terrace that overlooks the sea. There will be an outdoors setting that would be quiet and secluded in the winter of Kuwait.

On the left of the lounge the salon is located. It is not fully furnished yet but it will be soon. Also the hairdressers and makeup artist will be Turkish.

As we left B Villa we were left with a very good impression of the place. It is worth a visit and a good place to hang out in for sure. I will be back insha2 Allah! Thanks Bushra & Anfal for the invitation and the tour, best of luck to you guys
