I promised Madame Eve a thank you letter. I guess it’s time I followed through.
Expressing myself through the written word is practically the only way I can effectively communicate. I email my PR-guru (she makes me call her that) Penny far more than I talk to her on the phone. Same with my editor. Personal appearances and readings give me panic attacks. I am a writer. I need to write things down before I can deal with them.
So when I met Ty on our 1Night Stand date, I didn’t know what I was going to do. I hadn’t had a date in five years. Conversation terrified me. Penny knew all this, and yet she signed me up for the date anyway. If nothing else, it’d help me answer interview questions about my relationships and hookups more easily for a while; after all, what good’s a romance author if she doesn’t have a romance to pick apart?
Penny was thinking about my image; I was thinking about my impending heart attack.
Talking to fans is one thing. Striking up a conversation with a guy who makes me want to write epic romance novels, who’s charming and handsome and carries his end of a conversation perfectly? It took a couple of drinks before I could form coherent sentences.
After, though? I was shocked by how easily we made conversation (when not distracted by those pesky phone calls). Granted, Ty’s ex became an unfortunate part of our date, but I can’t help thinking that even without her, we’d have had an excellent time. We do now.
Without Madame Eve, I wouldn’t have found the one person I can connect with. And I’d never have the confidence to go after my dreams. Ty’s amazing, and I’m grateful for every moment I can spend with him. Thank you, Madame Eve and 1Night Stand.

Ora focused on putting one foot in front of the other as if she were a one-year-old learning how to walk. After turning the corner and seeing the back of his head, she froze. She had rendered the man speechless. Ora’s gracious nature—that’s what she blamed it on, anyway—took pity on him and she touched his shoulder. The contact sent sensual awareness through her and she recoiled her hand.
“Hello, Aurora. Please forgive me. It’s just that I’m a little surprised to see you.”
“Not as much as I am,” she muttered, attempting to squash both the joy bubbling up inside of her at seeing him again and the overwhelming sadness of what she’d been missing for so long.
“Pardon me?” he asked.
“I didn’t expect to see you here. It’s a surprise to me, too.” She tried to smile, but it came out contorted, as if she’d been able to have a painful, rocky bowel movement after being constipated for seven days.

Getting Frisky at the Kitchen Sink in MADE FOR HER ~ #MySexySaturday #eroticromance
Hello everyone! Today is the 39th week of My Sexy Saturday.
This week we’re talking about bump n sexy. It’s all about the hard and fast sex that our characters decide they need. You know what we’re talking about…the hard and fast grind against a wall, on a counter or maybe even on a piano. There is nothing like those scenes that tell you the hero and heroine just can’t get enough of each other. Is it so rough and fast there’s little time to declare their feelings? At that moment, does it even matter how they feel?
Of course, it matters how they feel. We also need to know that these two are going to be together…at least for now but hopefully forever because we are romantics. We believe in the fact that there are couples who manage to make it a lifetime loving each other. But sometimes it is all about the hard and fast aspect of love and making love.

Set-up: In this sci-fi military romance, Mikayla learns that not only did her husband create clones for use in the military, but he also clones himself. Because he resembles her last husband so much, she grew weak and slept with him, something that could ruin her career in the military. This scene takes place at a hotel during one of their secret meetings.
After dinner they washed the dishes together, something no other man she’d known offered to do. And another reason her love for him continued to grow.
He splashed water at her the entire time until her shirt and pants clung to her skin. “Thanks.” She willed a glare. “I’m going to have to change now.”
“How about we just leave them off?” His hands grazed her sides and then he lifted her arms into the air. Sliding her shirt off, he pushed her against the counter. His arousal pressed between the cheeks of her ass.
A new hunger raced through her body, Dare’s masculine scent whetting her appetite.
He spun her around to face him. “I want you.”
And she wouldn’t deny him. She craved him just as much.
Lifting her legs, he wrapped them around his waist then set her on the edge of the counter. “I’m going to take you right here.”

Glancing up, he nodded to the captain in the pilothouse, who returned the gesture and gave him a friendly smile. Zeke tied off the tender, stepped onto the swim platform, and made his way up to a shaded teak deck.
He bit back the urge to whistle. As far as boats went, this one was impressive. He entered the ship’s interior and pushed his sunglasses up on his head. Crisp white linen covered a table to his right. In the center, a silver bucket with ice chilled a bottle of champagne, and two crystal flutes flanked the bubbly.
Nice.
A quick scan of the rest of the room left him with the impression of lavish comfort. Somehow, the mix of gold colors and warm-toned wood eased his angst. Yeah, he shouldn’t let the location of his one-night stand detract from his blind date. Who gave a crap if the boat reminded him of Kaci? His mission was to get laid, so he could clear his head and move on.
Beyond the room divider, he noticed the end of a bar. Was there a bottle of Scotch stocked back there? Because he sure could use a shot to take the edge off. As he rounded the partition, he stumbled to a stop. A petite woman with short red hair stood at the bar with her back to him. The plush carpet must have masked his approach because she tapped her fingernails on the granite counter, offering no sign of being aware of him.
His gaze dipped below her copper strands to her backless dress. Damn. All that creamy skin sent lust jolting through him. Not to mention the way the black fabric hugged her like a wet suit, displaying one mighty fine looking ass. The hemline stopped mid-thigh, and at the very bottom of her long, toned legs, stilettos graced her feet, adding at least four inches to her height. Oh yeah, he could work with that.
He cleared his throat. “Uh, hi. My name’s Zeke. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” The redhead turned to face him, and the blood rushed from his head. Sea green eyes met his. Shock rolled through him with such force, his whole axis tilted.
