Bridget Guthrie and Zander Hudson have worked at Club Splendor together for years, sharing smoldering glances, flirting, and building a friendship. Thanks to the club’s strict policy of no staff fraternization, they’ve resisted how much they truly want each another.
With Bridget leaving to explore her dreams, they no longer have to hide their passions. After hours, in one of the pleasure rooms at Club Splendor, they finally give in to the burning desire they’ve held at bay for too long. She’s taken care of other people’s love lives for so long while at the club, can she find the courage to take care of her own needs and fantasies?

Bridget gasped and inched away from him. Turning, her eyes locked with his. Her bottom came up against the table behind, her heart racing, realizing there was little room to move. She was trapped between Zander and the wooden object. Nerves skated down her spine. The hunger and need in the darkness of his eyes emboldened her, filled her with a confidence she never experienced before.
No time to think about that. Not when desperate need coursed through her. His first kiss against her skin changed things. There was no way she’d accept just friendship with him now.
Anxious, wanting to hold onto this moment with him, and share her innermost desires, she grabbed the remote from the table and hit a button. The curtains behind her opened. She watched Zander’s eyes shift upward and go wide. They returned to hers and he grinned.
Bridget hit another button and the room filled with moans and sounds of flesh slapping against flesh. She trembled hearing the couple’s rough but no-doubt-exhilarating sex behind the glass. Always hard on each other while at the same time as gentle as their love, both enjoyed vigorous and no-holds barred sex and gave no apologies.
Zander stepped toward her, and skimmed his palms across her stomach, creating heat and butterflies circling inside her. So hot, his skin warmed her.
But when he lowered his head to hers, his lips gliding against hers, all thoughts fled and she pulled him closer, need and anticipation filling her.
Empowered, she slipped her tongue inside of his mouth. He moaned and opened wider for her, allowing her to discover the delicious taste of him. Cupping his ass cheeks, she held him close as they explored, and his palms drifted over the globes of her bottom.
Her heart thrummed as he fisted the soft cotton of her skirt then tugged her even closer. She didn’t think it was possible to be so absorbed in this man. She craved crawling all over him for endless hours.
Zander pressed his forehead against hers. “Bridget,” he muttered, “I want you. So much.”
“I want you too.” She brushed her lips against his.
Lifting his hands, he made quick work of the buttons of her blouse. He pulled open the sides, and groaned. “This is what you wear to work?”
He smoothed his fingers along the valley between her breasts and skimmed over the sheer see-through material of her bra. She loved lingerie and spent as much money as possible at Victoria’s Secret. Her one indulgence, she treated to herself whenever she socked her school money away from her allotted bi-weekly checks or any extra income from working more hours at the club.
His wide and hungry eyes made her feel sexy and she smirked at him. “You don’t like it?”
“If I liked it any better I’d have a heart attack right now. Jesus, gorgeous…your tits are so hot behind that lacy stuff.”
My review – 4.5 Stars

Dying to Love Her – Dana Lorraine
I’m happy to have Dana Lorraine here today and her new book, Dying to Love Her, out November 13th. Please enjoy Dana’s post, a blurb from the book, and enter to win a copy of the book and a gift card down below!
Hello to all of you—Carly Fall’s wonderful fans. I’m so grateful to be here. Thanks Carly for having me on your blog today.
My name is Dana Lorraine and I’m an almost published author. My debut release, Dying to Love Her, will be available November 13th from Ellora’s Cave. In just two days my erotic paranormal ménage will be out there for everyone to read! I’m both excited and nervous. LOL! I hope everyone falls in love with my yummy vampire personal trainers like I did.
You’re here today so I assume you like to read as much as I do. Ever since I was a tween and picked up Double Love I’ve been hooked.
Hold on—Double Love? Was she…oh my…she wasn’t reading THOSE kind of books as a kid, was she?
If this thought just ran through your head like a crazy naked person don’t worry—Double Love is the first book in Francine Pascal’s teen series, Sweet Valley High. It was my gateway read into the world of romance. I couldn’t get enough of Elizabeth (I sooo wanted to be her) and her twin sister Jessica (I sooo hated her) and their drama—most of which involved some dreamy boy.
From there I moved onto the classics and hunky men. I read into all hours of the night wanting to be swept away by an equally dashing man as Mr. Darcy. And then I went to college. There wasn’t much time to read for pleasure but I was travelling to Japan with a few of my classmates and someone brought along Anne Rice’s dark erotic Beauty series.
Oh my! Suffice it to say I had never read anything like that.
I moved onto Rice’s vampire books, her Mayfair witches and fell in love with the paranormal genre. I searched for books that gave me both creatures of the night and love ever after. But I didn’t forget the thrill of erotica and back I went.
They say to write what you know. So for me it was an obvious choice to write paranormal erotic romance. And if I was going to write erotic I might as well go all the way and write ménage because really…it doesn’t get much more erotic than that.
I like my threesomes—in books of course—to be about love. That’s the romance fan in me. The odd guy out helping fulfill a fantasy for his buddy’s girlfriend is a sexy storyline but it doesn’t leave me sighing at the end of the book.
Melanie, my curvy heroine, couldn’t choose between the heroes, Rook and Alec, even if she tried. How could I ask her to when there’s no way I could? Rook with his easy going sexiness and Alec’s fevered passion—both are equally sigh-worthy.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’ll consider reading my short novel and trying to decide if you could choose between the vampire hotties. Trust me…you won’t be able to.
Enjoy my delish cover and blurb for Dying to Love Her here. If you head on over to the Ellora’s Cave website (maybe from there consider liking my book on Facebook…pretty please) you can check out the excerpt and add my November 13th release to your wishlist. A few days after that it should be available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble as well.
Oh and there’s a contest so enter that too. On my website you can see who else I’ll be visiting these next two months and I promise they’ll be more giveaways to come.
Happy Reading!
Blurb for Dying to Love Her:

With an exercise regimen that includes horizontal workouts, fat-burning orgasmic bites and lusty words of encouragement, she’s in serious danger of forgetting their relationship is based on a business agreement and not mutual attraction.
Alec Kosta and Rook Abernathy, best friends and owners of Empriva, have waited over a century for the right lifemate to come along. Now that they’ve found Melanie with her endless curves and quick wit, they’re ready to give up countless lifetimes to spend just one with her.
But time isn’t on their side—they’ve tasted her blood and now mere days is all they have to convince her their love is real or risk losing her forever.
About The Author
Dana Lorraine never dreamed she’d grow up to be a writer. A voracious reader of romance, one day she decided to write one of her own. And now she never wants to stop. Paranormal, sci-fi or contemporary, ménage or one-on-one, don’t ask her to limit herself to just one type because she loves them all.
She makes killer meatballs, loves to reread her favorite romances and likes any drink served with an umbrella. The Groom – Elise Marion
This book is an continuation of My Ex-Wife’s Wedding. You can read it as a stand alone, or you can go download My Ex-Wife’s Wedding for free at Bottom Drawer Publications
Blurb of The Groom:
When Lyle Cummings is left standing at the altar on his wedding day, all of his carefully composed plans for the future come crashing down around him. The pragmatic doctor is left questioning his well-ordered existence and wondering if there isn’t more to life than the achievements of wealth and career.
When he meets Katrina Giordano, a fiery lounge singer with more passion in her pinky finger than he possesses in his entire body, his mundane life is turned upside down. In Katrina, he finds everything his life has been lacking. With her, he will learn that what he thought was love really wasn’t at all.
But will Katrina’s dark past threaten the happiness that Lyle has found after so much heartache? With her life, and now his, hanging in the balance, Lyle will find himself tested when it comes to how far he will go for love.
Excerpt:
“ROUGH DAY?”
Lyle Cummings glanced up from the surface of the gleaming bar top and into the eyes of the petite woman moving around behind it. She was holding a frosted beer mug in one hand and controlling the Miller Lite tap with the other. Sympathy flashed in her stare, causing Lyle to jerk his own gaze away as if stung. He didn’t want her sympathy. All he wanted was peace, and . . .
“Single malt scotch on the rocks with a twist.”
He knew that his request had come out more like a raspy, barked command but Lyle didn’t care. Today of all days, he had the right to act like a jackass.
An understanding nod followed, and the bartender quickly moved to fill his order. She sat the scotch in front of him and accepted his debit card.
“Would you like me to start a tab?” she asked as she swiped his card.
“Yes.”
Hell yes. Today was also a day for getting drunk.
Plastered.
Shit-faced.
Wasted.
He wrapped his fingers around the perspiring glass and inspected the bruised knuckles of his free hand. Mottled splotches of blue, purple, and green marred his sun-bronzed skin, and swelling edged the bruise with a ring of deep red. Lyle’s fingers curled into his palm as he downed the scotch in a few long gulps, the fire racing through his gut elevating the adrenaline rush he felt at the thought of smashing Jack Thompson’s face in. A few drops of blood stained the cuff of his white dress shirt and the sight of it sent primal satisfaction through Lyle’s gut. It was the only pleasure to be salvaged from the disaster that should have been the happiest day of his life. Well that and . . .
“Another,” he rasped, sliding the empty glass back toward the bartender.
She arched an eyebrow at him while reaching for a clean glass. “Who’s the unlucky guy?” she asked, nodding toward his bruised knuckles.
Lyle grasped his newly filled glass. “Nobody.”
She laughed. “Looks like Nobody took quite a beating.”
That’s not all he took, Lyle thought. The reminder of the earlier events caused his rage to flash back to boiling point; Jack Thompson may have been on the business end of his fist, but ultimately the other man had won. Even now, Jack was riding off into the sunset with his Holly and probably felt not an ounce of guilt over what he’d done. And why should he? Holly was everything a man could want in a woman. Jack had lost her once to divorce. It was unlikely that he was going to be stupid enough to repeat the mistake after winning her back again.
A frown pulled at the corners of Lyle’s mouth as he stared down into the contents of his glass. The bartender reached across the wooden top and clasped his injured hand. Lyle flinched and snatched it away, glaring at her with narrowed eyes.
“I was just going to offer you some ice,” she said gently. Lyle felt like an ass when he saw the bundle of paper towels clenched in her small fist. He tried to offer her a smile as she pressed the ice-filled towels against his knuckles, but it turned into a grimace as the ice came in contact with his flaming skin.
“You should stick around,” she said warmly after he’d taken over with the ice. “We have live music on Saturdays.”
She placed another filled glass in front of him and Lyle took it, nodding his thanks and looking away, freeing the bartender to wait on her other customers. He took his time with this drink, the tentacles of the first two already reaching out through his body with warm intent. He hadn’t noticed much about his surroundings since arriving, but he took stock of them now as he drank.
The lighting was dim, which was good because if someone in the room knew him, Lyle didn’t want to have to deal with that. The pitying eyes of the bartender were one thing; the probing stares of people who were expecting to see him with a ring on his finger and a bride on his arm would be enough to make him want to go somewhere and splatter his brains across the wall. The bar was long, wrapping in a serpentine pattern around half of the room. At least three other bartenders worked the gathered patrons, who sipped beer and munched on peanuts while waiting for the music to start. Conversation filled the room in a dull buzz.
The other half of the room was filled with round, cloth-covered tables and wooden chairs. Waitresses bustled in and out of the crowd in short skirts and white tops, pens in their hair and comfortable shoes on their feet. Lyle’s stomach rolled and clenched with nausea at the smell of nachos and greasy hamburgers. He took another sip of scotch and sighed in relief at the feel of fire burning the nausea away. Just then, he didn’t care if he ever had another bite of food again in his life. If he could just crawl into the bottom of the liquor bottle and curl up in the fetal position, he could die somewhat happy . . . or, at least, numb.
Jutting out from the back wall was a stage hosting a microphone stand and a couple of speakers. A red velvet curtain separated the stage from whatever was going on backstage. Lyle tipped his glass back and stood, deciding that listening to some bartender’s sister’s band sing the blues was the last thing he wanted right now. Another drink, preferably in a quieter location, was just what he needed.
“Closing out the tab?” the bartender asked as he stood and dropped a few dollars in the tip glass. He nodded.
“Yes, thank you,” he said, holding up the makeshift ice pack. “Have a nice—”
Lyle’s sentence was cut off by a man’s voice. A burly bouncer in a tight black T-shirt was on stage, announcing the act for the night. He could barely hear him because of the catcalls and whistles coming from the audience. Every man in the room seemed to lean forward in anticipation as the curtains parted to reveal the figure of a woman holding a guitar. She walked forward with a bright smile, her skin bathed in the glow of the spotlight as she took a seat on the stool.
Lyle felt frozen in place as she strummed on her guitar and opened her mouth to sing. Her voice was like velvet, a purr that wrapped itself around him tightly and squeezed, flooding his insides with warmth and . . . something else—he wasn’t quite sure what. He felt himself moving, and somewhere in the back of his mind realized that he’d backed toward the stool he’d left seconds ago and was sitting down again.

“Gennie-bear, you want another bite of this
cupcake? You can use my fork,” Brent said and held it out to me. With his saliva on it.
I had no idea where his mouth had been lately. Gross.
I shook my head. “Uh, no thanks. I’m good.
I’ll get another fork.” I said and shoved my chair back so hard it made a loud, screeching noise across the floor. I smiled an apology before I escaped and wondered how I could prolong the simple task of retrieving a fork.
I took my time at the counter talking to Melanie about the weather, about cupcake batter and about where she got her plastic forks, anything to delay my return to the table. When Lexie sent me the twin death glare, I sighed and went back to the table.
Brent had eaten half of my Lemon Drop cupcake.
“That one was really good,” he said and sent me a sparkly smile.
I almost stabbed him with my fork, but the bell above the door jingled and I looked up to see Matt standing there.
The light flooding through behind him tipped his dark hair in gold. I nearly sighed. Was it weird I thought I heard sirens and angels singing? There he was, my knight in shining armor, saving me again.
I threw the fork down and bounded from my chair. It tipped backward, but the sound of it crashing to the floor was muffled as everything else faded to the background. I rushed into his arms and he caught me to his chest with a deep laugh and it reverberated through my body like a bass drum. His arms circled around me, wrapping me in his warmth and I breathed in the scent of him, my face feeling like it might crack with my smile.
His cheek rested against my temple and I sighed, content. Would my heart ever stop racing when my eyes caught sight of
him? I hoped not. It was exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
“You came,” I whispered, not willing to let
him go.
“Did you doubt I would?” He dropped a kiss to the tip of my nose, sending shivers down my spine, the butterflies knocking like mad into each other inside my stomach.

“You really should change that light bulb,” Matt said, glancing around us.
“I know.” I pushed aside my wallet to dig to the bottom of my oversized purse. “I kind of take for granted that this is supposed to be a safe neighborhood.”
“Until an alien abducts you off your poorly lit porch.”
“Very funny.” I glanced up from my purse with a smile. “But really, it’s late. You could have been home by now.”
“Gen, I’m glad to walk you to your door. I would have worried about you if I hadn’t.”
I considered him as we stood there on my porch, the light flickering above us. I didn’t want himto leave, but I didn’t know how to ask him to stay. Maybe I could ask him in for a drink, though I’d already had enough.
But I have those cupcakes…
Yeah. I could offer him cupcakes. They weren’t his favorite, chocolate with sprinkles, but yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting had to be a close second, right? Hadn’t he said a cupcake will fix everything?
“I’m really glad we went out tonight.”
His voice made me jump and I dropped the keys. We both bent to pick them up at the same time and bumped foreheads.
“Sorry,” he said.
“It’s okay, I’m fine.” I clasped my forehead and laughed. Probably, I sounded hysterical. Likea rabid hyena. I couldn’t even look him in the eye when I took the keys from him.
“Thanks for inviting me. I had a lot of fun tonight.”
“Me too,” he said.
I put the key into the lock, turning it slowly as I struggled with what to do about him and my out of control libido. Unlocking my door hadn’t given me enough time to figure things out, though, so I tried to prolong sliding the patio door open. That didn’t take long either, and I hesitated in the doorway, still unsure. I opened my mouth to ask him in, but nothing came out. So I stepped backward through the doorway, my gaze glued to his. After a moment, he followed me inside, part of his face lost in shadows.
Time stood still.
My tongue darted out to lick my lips, and I lifted up onto my toes as he lowered his head to meet me halfway. The smell of his cologne surrounded me and my eyes drifted shut. He grasped me loosely around my back, pulling me close, sending shivers coursing through my body. His breath caressed my skin, his lips just a whisper away from mine, and my lips parted.

Tag! You’re it Blog Hop
TAG YOU’RE IT! BLOG HOP
Hello! I’ve been invited by LAZ & LACHI Publications to participate in this “blog hop interview.” In order to participate, I answer these questions, and tag three other authors. They post the same interview questions on their blog pages. The writers they tag, will post their interview questions and answers on their blogs, and so forth. A lot of hopping! You can find Laz & Lachi’s interview questions and answers here:
Here are my answers to the interview Q&A:
1. What are you working on right now?
Right now I’m working on my Angels of Affection series. I am waiting for the edits on the first book and am writing my face off to complete the second.
2. How does it differ from other works in its genre?
My angels are a little different. They are Angels of Death who have been forced to become Angels of Affection. An Angel of Affection is tasked with helping people fall in love. Being an Angel of Affection is a big leap from being an Angel of Death.
3. Why do you write what you do?
I love writing fantasy/paranormal. People can love a little harder, the drama can be more pronounced, and the rules of the “real world” can be bent.
4. How does your writing process work?
I do an outline, and get going. I usually wear earbuds and listen to ambient music.
I am tagging the following authors: Kacey Hammell, Elise Marion, and Vivi Dumas. Make sure to check out their blog posts on the following date: October 21, 2013. — Tag you’re it!

New release and giveaway!
One of my good author friends has a new book in her series coming out today! The King of Cardenas series is wonderful, and I’m happy to be featuring every book today, including the new release, The Mistress.
I have read this series, and let me tell you, it is so well written it will take you back to the days of strong kings, beautiful queens, pomp and circumstance with a lot of excellent romance and page-turning drama thrown in.
Because I love this series so much, I’m gifting every book in the series to two people.
I tend to be awesome like that every now and then.
To enter, simply answer this question in the comments and include your email: If you were king or queen, what two laws would you put into effect?
The Third Son
Prince Damien, the spoiled youngest son of the king of Cardenas, finds that his world will never quite be the same again when a fiery Gypsy girl, Esmeralda, comes dancing into his privileged life.Rake. Rogue. Scoundrel. Each of these words has been used to describe Damien Largess, youngest prince of
Cardenas, most frequently by his ridiculously somber eldest brother. Damien is perfectly content to spend his days drinking at the card tables, and his nights in the bed of his scheming mistress, especially since doing these things seems to vex his high-handed brother to no end. But when he steps into a glittering ballroom on the night of his twenty-fifth birthday, the roguish young prince’s life will be forever changed.Beautiful. Graceful. Sensual. When Esmeralda steps into the center of the King’s ballroom to perform for his youngest son’s birthday, every eye in the room is glued to the tall, lithe Gypsy dancer. One pair of eyes seems to burn straight through her, and though she has worked endlessly to shield her heart, she finds her defenses slowly slipping away in the presence of the handsome prince. She cannot resist his devastating charm, nor is she immune to the earth shattering desire in his kiss. As she falls rapidly under his spell, Esmeralda dares to hope for a future she would never have thought possible.
With a deadly plot against the royal family surrounding him in danger and intrigue, Damien will face a decision he never thought he would have to make. Would he step up to claim a responsibility that should never have fallen to the third son? Or will he abandon it to risk all for love?
The Second Son:

When a devious plot against the royal family results in her husband’s death, Isabelle is left with a broken heart and an uncertain future. Only one year after his brutal murder, she has no choice but to choose a new husband and return to her homeland to take her place as queen and repair the war-torn land.Prince Serge has secretly loved Princess Isabelle his entire life. His future is now uncertain, but Serge is determined to find his own way in the world now that he has been given the gift of new life. When it is suggested that Princess Isabelle take him as her husband, Serge begins to hope that all of his most secret dreams will now come true.
Despite unexpected spark of desire between them, Isabelle resists the new path her heart is taking as she clings desperately to Lionus’ memory. Can Isabelle let go of her past and learn to love Serge in return, or is she destined to a life tied to one man as she mourns the other?

Ava Longley, captain of the lady knights, never expected to become the target of an obsessed murderous madman. When a kidnapper is sent to abduct her, Ava sees it as the perfect opportunity to bring the mastermind to justice. To Julian Vincent, Lady Longley is no more than the means to an end. However, when sparks fly between them, Julian is faced with an impossible decision.
After being sold into slavery by her king and washing up onto the shore of Cardenas, the friendless African Amazon, Mudiwa Akua, was taken in by Barony’s female soldier’s regiment. When her tranquil existence is disturbed and she finds herself on a ship bound for the exotic island of Martinique, Mudiwa faces certain death and possible enslavement for the second time in her life, dredging up ghosts of a past she had long thought forgotten. When planter Isaac Prideux comes upon a mysterious African woman, beaten and half-dead, he takes it upon himself to care for her. He never imagined doing so would shake up his monotonous life so completely.
After the highly honored title of onna bugeisha—the feminine equivalent of a samurai—begins to lose its power in Japan, Hanako Kiyomi sees no choice but to flee. But when her deserted husband comes searching for her, Hanako escapes him the only way she knows how: marriage in name only to a stranger. Lord Garrick Overton has always admired the cool, stoic Hanako from afar. Marriage to the woman he’s desired for years seems like a good idea; until she proposes the marriage be in name only. As he sets out to win her heart, he faces not only a tough task but a begrudged man that will stop at nothing to win back what he has lost.
Their courage will be tried. Their hearts will be put to the test. Can three headstrong women maintain their independent natures while surrendering to love?
Gypsy Rose:
“Unlike the delicate, hothouse rose, the Gypsy rose is riddled with thorns. Few men are brave enough to take one in their grasp.”
Tatiana Angelo always dreamed of a life of opulence and glamour. When her cousin became the wife of the King of Cardenas, she was swept away by the intrigue and decadence of palace life and became the jewel of the royal court.
Catching the eye of a rich and titled lord seemed like a dream come true, but a few months after their whirlwind elopement, Tatiana found herself abandoned by the man she once thought loved her. Now, all she wishes to do is return to her previous life, one of simplicity and freedom. When Adrian Wilshire enters her life, Tatiana is certain she’s found in him the freedom and passion she desires. Despite the scars left on her heart by her past love, she throws caution to the wind and opens herself to the possibility of a future with him. But when the truth of his identity comes to light, the pain of his betrayal is too much to bear. Yet, despite her anger and sadness, she finds that turning her back on him will be harder than she could have ever imagined.
A few months ago, Adrian Wilshire was nothing more than the illegitimate son of a courtesan and titled lord. After years of hard work, he’s finally saved enough to begin the modest but quiet life he’s always craved, hoping that in doing so he will finally leave the ghosts of his tormented past behind. When he sets eyes on the vivacious Gypsy dancing under the moonlight, Adrian knows that he has finally found the woman that could make his dream of a happy life complete. But the strains of a responsibility he never wanted weigh heavily on him, as the demands of an estate left to him by his father press in on him from all sides. Can he live his life trapped in a gilded cage he despises and still keep the heart of a woman who desires freedom above all else? With his vengeful half-brother bent on destroying everything Adrian has inherited, as well as his life and love, Adrian will find keeping the balance between duty and desire even more complicated.
Can Adrian fight the dangers of the present and the ghosts of the past while claiming the fickle heart of the Gypsy Rose? Can two broken hearts find comfort in each other and lasting love? Elise Marion’s Kings of Cardenas saga continues with a story of heartbreak, passion, deception, and love.

A Sunday Kind of Love by Kacey Hammell
For Sunday Reardon, once an A-list actress, leaving the spotlight, hectic schedules and tabloid gossips behind for the quiet tranquility of her hometown was the best decision she ever made. She’s surrounded by her family, her gardens and has everything she needs. Except the love of her life, a past co-star who offered so many promises years ago, only to break them all.
When she’s nominated for an Academy Award, Sunday’s world shifts into confusion and what-might-have-beens as she comes face to face with the one man who broke her heart…and still sets her body on fire.

“God, you feel so amazing in my arms. I wish you could come with me.”
Eyes closed, she nodded. “I can’t. I’m sorry.” Opening her eyes, she gazed at him. “Once the editing is finished, I need to get away from all this. I can’t deal with it any longer. And you know my dad’s having hip surgery. I need to help my mom.”
Shifting his stance, he slid his hands over the globes of her ass, urging her closer. “I know, babe. It’s okay. I won’t be gone long.”
She dug her fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck. “Nine months seems likes forever. You won’t forget me will you?”
A moan erupted from his throat as he dipped his head and latched his mouth onto hers. She savored him in her arms, revelling in his tongue dancing with hers. Passion, yearning, hunger, it was all there in his kiss.
Flexing his hips, Josh shifted his shaft to fit in the V between her legs. She gasped, her head falling back. Josh kissed his way down her neck, nibbling, biting, and driving the temperature a million times higher. She wanted to succumb to him now, to finally make love to him, but they couldn’t risk being caught.
He hauled her tighter, holding her so close she could barely breathe. But Sunday didn’t care. All she would ever need was this man in her arms. Feeling him against her, his body fevered against hers—nothing else mattered.
Josh lifted his head, his forest green eyes bore into hers. She could drown in his loving and hungry gaze. He knew her better than anyone else. While filming, they’d enjoyed so many secreted-away moments, revealing hopes and dreams and shared childhood stories imparting laughter. He was everything she’d ever need. And she couldn’t wait to tell the world.
But they couldn’t. Not yet.
“I know my leaving, since filming of my next movie is starting sooner, throws a kink in what we’d planned, but I promise, babe, I’ll be back as fast as I can. I’d rather be with you, starting our journey toward what I think will be a great future together. If I had any other choice—”
Understanding about commitments and responsibility, she covered his lips with her hand. “I know. It’s okay. We have time. We do. I’ll be waiting for you.”
He sighed. “I love you more than anything else.” He caressed her face. “I’ve waited so long for you already, it’ll be hell, but I know it will be worth it. Especially when we’re far away from prying eyes.”
She smiled, her heart booming with happiness. “And I love you.”
His cell phone vibrated. He yanked it from his pocket and groaned. “Damn, I have to go. They’re looking for me. Our flight leaves in forty-five.” His lips captured hers.
She poured all the love, hope, and belief of their relationship into the kiss. He had to come back. She couldn’t live without him now.
“I miss you already,” Josh whispered when he stepped back. His gaze travelled over her face as if memorizing every facet. Then he leaned down for his duffel bag. Straightening, he said, “I love you, Sunni.”
Tears in her eyes, she watched him walk toward the door. “I love you.”
He stared at her from across the room. Sunday wanted to rush over, wrap her arms around him and beg him not to go. But she couldn’t do that. She loved how dedicated and honest he was. There was no way she’d ever ask him to break his word.
With a last long, deep breath, he turned the door handle then exited the trailer. Feeling alone already, she sat in the vanity chair and gazed into the mirror. The love of her life had just walked out the door for war-torn Afghanistan. She worried for his safety but knew his people and the movie company would keep him safe while filming. All she could do was hold the love she had for him in her heart, and wait.

My Review – 4.5 Stars/5 Stars
Five very hot, short stories about the world of Hollywood.
A Sunday Kind of Love – Kacey Hammell
Sunday Reardon has happily retired from Hollywood, until she wins an Academy Award nomination. As she once again navigates Hollywood, she comes face to face with the man who broke her heart.
I wanted these two to work out their differences and miscommunication from the get-go.
As with most of Kacey’s work, she writes scorching romance with deep undertones of emotions that really bonds you with the characters. A great little story I really enjoyed.
Red Carpet Release – Emma Lai
I had to laugh at the beginning of this book when Kalea’s top pops open – that’s something that happens to us girls with the big boobs. I liked the story of the girl letting all of her inhibitions go and getting it on with a big star. The story was well-written and very sexy. What I didn’t like was the ending, or lack thereof. Personally, I like my stories to end, and this irritated me a bit as I wanted to see what the outcome would be for the couple.
Private Screening – Sandra Sookoo
I really loved this interracial story of a “nobody” hooking up with an A-List actor and having no idea who he is. I also loved that Meghan isn’t your typical heroine: she’s got some curves instead of the normal Hollywood figure. There were a couple places in the story where I wanted to see more emotion from Meghan, but overall I really enjoyed it.
Silver Screen Dom by Marie Tuhart
I don’t really read a lot of Dom/Sub work, but I did like this story. The characters were believable, sexy and the emotions in the story were real and believable. It is a great story of the games Hollywood people play.
Take Two by Lacey Wolfe
Chloe is stuck in her small hometown, with no career and just making it by. When she gave her virginity to Sean Cooper, and he then decided to go to Hollywood to make it big, he left her.
Throughout the years, both have held on to their old feelings. I liked the idea of a man being among all the Hollywood starlets, and still having feelings for the girl next door he left back home. Combine that with the secret plans of Sean Cooper’s grandma, this is a delightful little story that will leave you smiling.
