Spill it

“Spill it,” Ryan said.

I could tell he was tired of my pensive
sadness.

            “I don’t want to,”
I said.

            “Why?” he asked.

            “Cause it’s over. It
was over before, but now it’s really over,” I said.

            “If you love him,
why is it over?” he asked.

            I watched the sun
sink lower in the sky throwing a bright line of light across the ocean at us. I
didn’t answer him.

            “Come on Morgan,
tell me,” he said. “I’m a good listener.”

            I looked at him
trying to conjure up a decent answer.
           “Just because you
love someone doesn’t always make it right, make it work."

Sewing

Keri
and I both hated sewing. We sat right next to each other so she talked to me. She
was one of the more popular girls at school. I didn’t rate there. She was
shorter than me but she had thick straight blonde hair that fell to her waist
and almond shaped green eyes. She had a cute figure and did her best to flaunt
it. The boys all thought she was hot and she knew it. She was a total flirt. I
wouldn’t go as far as to say I wanted to trade places with her, but I sure
wished I could get some of the attention she got.

Tingle

        Linda
moaned softly as he slid one hand down and parted her legs sticking two fingers
into her. She spread her legs more and he pushed his fingers in and out of her.
She could feel the tingle between her legs, and the wetness. She wanted him
inside her. She tried to pull Jake onto her, but he wasn’t finished with
pleasuring her.

Intensity of old

        When
we made love it was with the intensity of old. He was all I could see. The
guilt feelings I thought I should feel never surfaced.  We spent the next few days and nights
together, completely immersed in each other. It made me sad to have to leave
him, and I dreaded going home. As I lay in Mathew’s arms I tried to compare my
love for him to my love for Max and realized there was none, they were
completely different.

Ah, yeah!

             He
looked me in the eye and gave me a small smile. His
expression sent a shiver through me, and it was hard to pull my eyes from his. I
had no idea if he wanted to sit there or didn’t want Bobby sitting next to me. I
could feel the heat rush up into my chest, and my heart beat faster. Yeah, Gayle,
I said to myself, I want to kiss him.

At the movies

I get up and blog almost every day--it's sort of like shouting through a tunnel because I'm not sure I can be heard. Last night we watched a newer movie, a regurgitation of a plot line that has been going on for years...years...years. It was film, in my opinion, completely wasted. The plot was nil and the only thing, only thing, going for it was a ton of fighting, blowing up, and car/train chases (which I don't like). I have given up on regular TV and about to give up on movies. Hollywood has become like our government, it's all about the money and not about the real thing anymore.

Nick-name

        Rachel
hung up feeling proud of herself, a step in the right direction. She inspected
herself in the mirror again and wondered if the jewelry she’d put on was too
much. Damn Ali for always having just the
right amount.
She chuckled to herself, Gem Rats, she thought it was a very
cleaver nick-name for the girls’.

If only you knew

             I
closed my eyes. I thought about his kiss, his touch. “You want some of this?” he'd asked. Yes, I do I imagined myself saying as I started unbuttoning his pants.

“Ohhhh,” I shouted arching my back
as cold ocean water was splashed across me.

I flipped over to find Mathew
holding an empty plastic bucket, the kind kids get with the shovel, at the drug store. I’d been
daydreaming and looked from his hands to his face.

            “Mathew!”

“You looked like you needed some
cooling off,” he laughed.

If you only knew, what I'd been thinking, nevertheless he’d totally
startled me.

Bird

Yesterday Dennis left the door open as the sun was out, and it was warm, and he was playing with the goats. A little song bird took the opportunity to fly into the house. He lighted on the dining room fixture and looked down at me. Of course trying to get him out of vaulted ceilings came to no fruition last night--highest point every time.  He spent the night with us. This morning I could hear him chirping upstairs, when I followed the sound I found him perched on my writing chair. I moved very slowly and was able to open the slider and set him free. Good luck???? I'm sure hoping!

Player category

As for Greg, Linda knew exactly what he was from
the minute she met him. She categorized men into two main groups, the players
and the others. The others had subcategories like good guy, too nice, too
controlling, things like that, but the player category was just one, player.
