#snippetsunday From Bk1 INESCAPABLE: 1st peek at #upcoming #indie series Eternelles

Hey beautiful people!

Feels like ages since I last posted a Snippet Sunday... Didn't have the courage to post last week as Mauritius was reeling in the wake of flash floods that hit the capital city, Port Louis, on Saturday March 30. 11 people died, and hundreds of others have lost their homes and all their belongings... A catastrophe of that magnitude had never hit us and it was a dazed wakeup call for all of us Mauritians...

Anyhow, life does go on, and today I'm back on the bandwagon. Not po...

Review: Prophecy of the Flame by Lynn Hardy (as part of BTS Blog Tour)

Hey peeps! I've been engrossed in this read for the past few days in order to be able to post a review today. Disclaimer, before I proceed: I received a copy of this book as part of the BTS Blog Tour for this title, in exchange for an honest review. Never was I asked, requested, or was it suggested to me, to provide a glowing and/or positive review of the title. Any and all opinions expressed henceforth are mine and mine alone.
Okay, first off, let us get you into the general idea of this...

Lynn Spangler talks about writing & her debut release, Whiskey Whispers of the Past

Hey beautiful people!

Absolutely thrilled today to welcome one of the loveliest persons I know! I've never met her in real life, but she's one of my closest friends, a sounding board, and the very first gateway any of my books go through before they are subbed.

We met at a mutual publisher a few years ago, and before we knew it, were fast friends. She has been there for me in some of the toughest times of my life, and I strive my best to be there, too, for such an amazing woman.

But all that asi...

Blog Tour + Review "Child of Mine" by Judy Mollen Walters

Hey peeps!

I've been off the grid for a couple of days after the flooding disaster in Mauritius back on Saturday. The whole country has been in a state of shock since that afternoon and hence I wasn't able to post as regularly as I usually do. In fact, too - this post was supposed to come yesterday, but with the erratic connection, I preferred to let the tour host know I wouldn't be able to post.

Thankfully, everything is working all right today, so here we go with this one.

The book featured to...

Life After 6 Tequilas: An Interview with author Gina Rossi

Hey beautiful people!

Today, I welcome another fellow author originally from my region - she's South African but now lives on the Mediterranean coast (lucky gal, eh?) after detouring through London, if I'm not mistaken... While I've always known that Africa holds immense talent for writing, it never ceases to amaze me how far-reaching that talent for words and astounding stories goes, especially when I meet these ladies from South Africa.

My guest is one of the ROSAs, and she writes in one of m...

Prophecy of the Flame Book Tour: a Q&A with the author, Lynn Hardy

Hey peeps!

This book caught my eye a little while ago when I received an invite to take part in the tour. Got this baby on my e-reader and will be featuring a review on April 6.
As for this spotlight and Q&A, they were originally supposed to go up last Saturday. In all my headless chicken glory, I forgot to post the material and I'm hoping I can make amends today.

So here goes:

Title: Prophecy Of The Flame
Author: Lynn Hardy
Publisher: Resilient Publishing
Length: 393 Pages
Sub-Genres: Fantasy

A little book chit chat with author Sarah Cass!

Hey beautiful people!

Welcoming a lovely lady over on the blog today. We met accidentally by chance on the Net (how most of the best meetings happen...) and I invited her over to tell you a little bit about her and her latest book.

Her name is Sarah Cass, and she's a powerhouse of mummyhood and author kick-arse-ry. Here she is!

First of all, thanks for coming over and answering this doc! Thanks, Z!  It’s a pleasure to stop by. I enjoy getting out and meeting new readers! So, Sarah, tell us ab...

Review of Thunder Point Bk1 - the latest from Robyn Carr, The Wanderer

Hey beautiful people!

I'm finally back with a review of an upcoming/highly anticipated book. Asked once again by the lovely publicist who has snagged me spots with the likes of Susan Mallery and Robyn Carr herself, I landed myself an advance copy of the latest by Robyn Carr - The Wanderer.
Not only was this a new book - it was the start of a brand new series! Needless to say, when I was told "jump!", I merely asked "how high?"

That being said, I must point out that I have never, in any way, been...

Cover Reveal for Laura Kaye's "Hard As It Gets"

[image error] Hey peeps!

I have a special guest today who's popping in quick to share a little something with us. Her name is Laura Kaye (and I'm sure ye all must've heard of her! This lady is wicked talented and her stories are amazing!).

So, Laura has a brand new series coming out in November with Avon Books, and the first big excitement for that launch starts now. How? Well, it's the cover reveal!

Is there anything more exciting for an author to receive a cover and getting to display it for the world to se...

#snippetsunday Who's the mystery date? OnceUponASecondChance the #Muslim #1NS from #Mauritius

Hey beautiful people!

Cannot believe we're already in the last third of March already. This always signals the start of fall around here in the southern hemisphere, and just last week, the weather got a little bit nippy; we thought the change of seasons was coming in. But turns out we were wrong. It's back to being blazing hot this weekend and doesn't look like the temps will give us a break anytime soon (and yes, I'll prolly be complaining about the opposite in July/August, in the thick of wi...
