From always choosing the storytelling option in English & French classes to sneaking a Mills&Boon romance under the desk at school, Zee went on to make a career out of writing the kind of emotional romances all young girls junk on.

Her Mauritius and Indian-based romances have all the classic makings of Bollywood-type drama: overbearing mothers, matchmaking aunties, ‘proper’ eligible suitors who look like frogs, race & class divides.
Travel to the UK (London, Surrey, & North Yorkshire), and you meet people—young and more mature—struggling to find ‘The One’ amid the drudgery of day-to-day life, never mind if they’re a simple graphic designer working from home, a world-renowned supermodel battling anorexia, or a reluctant heiress

Hello Tara! Sorry I am late in replying - was on a writing deadline this weekend.

LOL, I actually think I'm slacking, with not enough books out. Could be because I have ideas screaming at me in my head, and not making it to the Word screen fast enough.

I don't really have rituals per se - I love having a scented candle burning and have a mug of green tea next to me when I'm writing, but I can write without them; they're not requisites.

As for inspiration, well, I love people ... and more often than not, I meet people aka characters in my books' worlds, and I get tickled to know their story, and thus a new book idea is born. I can never leave well enough alone, it would seem *grin*(less)

Hello beautiful people

So it looks like I can pop here once every month - can we please go for that? If I have more worthy content, I will definitely post.

But yeah - a few days ago on a Goodreads group I'm in, someone asked what advice we'd give a newbie author. I wrote a few lines...and then this issue kept working at me throughout the week and it wouldn't let up, so I thought why not put this... Read more of this blog post »
