Catching up with the cover reveal of LIGHT MY WORLD, Bk2 of the Island Girls series!

Hey peeps!

After 2 weeks in the house (where we were stuck thanks to a huge cyclone making its apparition in our area and staying put for days!), the hyenas are finally back into school, and the weather has returned to bright and sunny. Not exactly hot, since we've already veered into winter territory, it seems, but the sunrays can get very warm when you're out under them.

Anyhow... kids back in school = me back at work. Hard. On top of prepping for the release of INESCAPABLE, Book1 of the Eter...

From Bk1 of #Eternelles INESCAPABLE: teenage angst from a mother's POV #snippetsunday

Hey beautiful people!

For once, it's a beautiful, dry, and sunny Sunday here in Mauritius. I'd had it up to here with the rain and wind and humidity - ack! Thank goodness for this change in weather, though we've veered into winter climate with this kind of brilliant light that however doesn't heat at all!

Perfect time to cuddle with a good book... though ye all in the US and Europe are going into spring. Well, even spring is a good time to lose yourself in a good read...

*hint, hint* This one wi...

Interview with Nancy Goldberg Levine, author of "Mr Short, Dark, and Funny"

Hey peeps!

The sun finally shone after 2weeks+ of rain and dreary weather. Managed to take the boys out this Easter break as they go back to school on Monday (hallelujah!). However, since we only just got home, and we left at the break of dawn (or around), I am late in posting today's guest interview. I hope she, and ye all, will forgive me for this lateness...

Anyhow, today's guest is a lovely and wonderful lady. Since we've met, she's always had a nice word or comment on almost all my posts,...

Sunny with a chance of sexy - Stephanie Beck visits!!!

Hey beautiful people!

After a week-- no, 10+days! - of rain and cyclonic weather, the sun is finally back out and shining on the whole of Mauritius. FYI, my town, Curepipe, is the equivalent of Forks, Washington; the Twilight town where it's always dark, dismal, and raining. Feels good to have some sunshine and warmth breaking through the stinking humidity of the past week.

And coincidentally, today's guest visitor brings with her a blog topic of... Sunny with a chance of sexy!

I'm not too sure...

Decadent TEASE: Captivate – SILK & SCANDAL by Cassandra Dean Cover Reveal! @Decadentpub

Hey beautiful people!

My good friend Cassandra Dean asked me if I would like to host her today for - she said - something big and really awesome. Always one to get intrigued by "conspiracies" and Gossip Girl-type plots, I was jumping aroung with glee asking her how I could be of help...

And my help comes in the form of participating in the amazing cover reveal operation Decadent Publishing has rolling from today on to April 21!

TEASE: a brand new line starting at Decadent, spearheaded by senior...

From Bk1 of #Eternelles INESCAPABLE: the joys of the mother-daughter relationship! #snippetsunday

Hey peeps!

It's Sunday again - where did the time fly? One week of Easter break down for the hyenas; one more to go for me. Wish it went this fast, but then, too, I won't be getting much done if the time flies by me... Knuckle down, Zee: you've got work and deadlines!

Not to mention upcoming releases... And speaking of, how about a little more from Inescapable, Book 1 of the Eternelles series, and my collab with my bestie, Natalie G Owens?

Last week, I introduced you to 'my' character - Adrastei...

2 British boys battle for the top spot today! *on my Playlist!*

Hey peeps

It's a cold and dismal Saturday here today. Cyclonic warning Class1 in force this morning when I'm writing this; hopefully we won't get much worse weather. Lotsa rain is not what we're looking for, esp after the recent floods in the capital city.

So what else is there to do except hunker down inside the house, maybe with a good book, or a good WIP? Yep, I'm writing a new story (more about that next week with the Progress Report).

But another thing you can do when the weather is awful =...

DADspirations: The first 100 days of Fatherhood - BLOG TOUR + a Review

Hey peeps!

The invite to take part in this tour landed in my inbox a little while ago, and I couldn't resist from asking to feature this work and also get to review it. The title says it all, innit, and when you read the blurb, you can a better picture of what this book conveys.

Found myself reading a lot more non-fiction lately, and this one sounded right up my alley. Check out the blurb:

Title: Dadspirations: The 1st 100 Days Of Fatherhood
Author: Pete Densmore
Publisher: Dadspirations Press

Prepper culture with Rebecca Royce + a Review of her latest "Love In One Night" Prepper romance from @Decadentpub

Hey beautiful people!

I am delighted - over the moon, really! - to welcome one of my oldest and dearest writing friends on the blog today. Just this morning, I was thinking about the time we met... It was 2007, and I had started my first romantic comedy and set it in the world of the rich & famous in London. On the crit group I belonged to back then, one woman championed this story and through her encouragement and relentless pursuits to give her 'more' of that book, pushed me to finish th...

Catching Up & musings about my 2013 release schedule!

Hey beautiful people!

Funny how I find myself with some time on my hands when the hyenas are on break. I usually go nuts and all kinds of crazy haywire when they're at home, but this time, I tried to clear my sked a bit to be able to spend some time with them.

Not that I've managed to, really... I mean, I've arranged my schedule to fit everything I need to do within the hours when the kiddo is at school, and though on the whole I've accomplished my goals, I still find myself with a full plate a...
