Senne en Sanne: De Geschiedenis van de Gitaar

Bertus Sloophamer stormt als een briesende stier het Gitaarmuseum binnen, op zoek naar Fred Bonestaak en Toni Banditi. Een olifant in een porseleinwinkel zeg maar. Hoe zal dit aflopen? Deze kleuren zijn er snel opgezet en stemmen niet overeen met de kleuren van het uiteindelijke album.

Een tekening van Richard Nixon, die in 1974 moest aftreden wegens de Watergate-affaire. Ik heb één van zijn bekende one-liners erbij geplaatst. Het gaat hier meer om de oefening dan om het onderwerp. Hoe kan je een potloodtekening digitaal inkleuren zonder het verlies van grijswaarden in het potlood.

Schets van de eerste pagina van het kortverhaaltje 'Hoe Pedrelino Pierke werd', in het kader van het tweede album rond het Gentse poppentheaterfiguurtje Pierke. Pierlala of Pierke Pierlala is een Vlaams folkloristisch figuur, vooral bekend uit het gelijknamige Nederlandstalige volksliedje. Het is een schelmenfiguur die graag de bloemetjes buitenzet en fratsen uithaalt met de mensen. Hij wordt vooral met Gent en Ursel in Oost Vlaanderen geassocieerd.

Under you see the drawing in pencil. The car that I drew was the original Chevy '57 ( Bruce Springsteen's First Car, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible)of Bruce that I found in pictures on the internet. It will appear in future drawings round this song. Furthermore I've found the house in the background left as a "typical American house", with a porch. From my European point of view, the houses in the States are huge.
