Another interview, and a non-fluffy mood disclosure

Not much photo evidence from this weekend as it was a quiet, family-oriented, contemplative one.

We're a week and a day away from BOOK RELEASE. I am feeling stressed and all-over-the-place, not sure whether to focus on Fury excitement, Envy revisions (due in less than two weeks), or normal work. I mean, I know I'm supposed to be focusing on all of it, but it's hard.

I guess I'm not really in the fluffy mood that I normally am in when I'm writing blog posts.

I'll try again tomorrow. Until then, h...

Podcast!

So excited that BookaliciousPam reviewed Fury for Katie Davis' Brain Burps About Books podcast! (The whole thing is awesome -- Charlie Joe Jackson's Guide to Not Reading, by Tommy Greenwald, sounds adorable! -- but if you're short on time, the section about Fury starts at around the 53-minute mark.)

Monday morning bachelorette quarterback

Has everyone realized by now that I hate coming up with titles for my blog posts?

Anyway, here we go with my soon-to-be-regular weekend photo update + week-ahead preview!

Of course, what happens at BeachBach stays at BeachBach, but here's an idea of what it looks like when I'm having borderline too much fun (complete with outrageous green-and-black zebra-print ensemble!):

Now, what's on the horizon (aside from the wedding in less than two weeks!):
Today I make the first stop on my...

Off to the Berkshires!

I'm heading out this afternoon for a weekend in the Berkshires (western Massachusetts) with my bf, his sister, and my parents. Quality family time!

My parents bought the house in Otis Woodlands before I was born. Since then, I've spent countless summers, winter weekends, and college breaks there. When I was 19, I lived alone there for an entire summer, waitressing and watching Sex and the City. These days, I often go with friends for weekend getaways (the house is about four hours from where ...

Babies

Just came from the hospital, where I met a new and important baby. Just needed to make note of that somewhere.

My day yesterday, from filming to Fire Island

After a hectic morning of travel (almost missed my flight!), I arrived yesterday to film my Studio 4 segment at the Simon & Schuster building. The filming took about 15 minutes and the clip will be edited down to just two or three...(can't wait to post the link / hope they made me look pretty). Then I signed some hardcover copies of Fury (omg the soft jacket -- I want to use it as a pillow).

Then I proceeded, for some unknown reason, to walk -- laden down by two heavy shoulder bags -- to Penn...
