Dolce Vita Joy Project: Day #17

We often spend days, weeks, months, years or even lifetimes trying to get somewhere else, be at a different place, get away from where we are now. Yet we feel stuck and we don't know why that is. Your life is now. Your happiness is right in front of you. Look for joy where you are right now, and an even bigger path to joy will unfold. I promise!

Sweet Writer's Life? Three Common Misconceptions

Maybe you are a budding author. Maybe you have a wonderful idea for a new book. Maybe you have been working on your manuscript for some time. Maybe you have not found the courage to start writing yet but you dream of becoming a famous writer. But do you know what the life of a writer really is like? Or do you have romantic ideas of bohemian lifestyle, fame, money and sleeping till noon? I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you are, well, completely wrong.

Misconception Number One: Writer's Life...

Book I Love: Review Of "Fabulously Fifty And Reflecting It!" By Tamara Elizabeth

What a brilliant book! First of all, let me say that although the title says "Fabulously Fifty And Reflecting It", this wonderful gem by Tamara Elizabeth will help every woman to discover her "Lovable Me", as the subtitle suggests, regardless of her age, background or experience.

It is not a typical self-help book, it is not a typical workbook, and it is not a typical book of essays. In Fabulously Fifty And Reflecting It!, the author combines her life experience with supportive coaching tools ...

Dolce Vita Joy Project: Day #16

It doesn't really matter whether you're a Law of Attraction fan and love everything New Age, or consider yourself to be a total skeptic. When a situation is happening or certain circumstances appear in your life quite unexpectedly, you can never see the bigger picture. However, if you trust that in time you will understand what the bigger picture is, you learn to live fearlessly. Everything that happens to us makes absolute sense – we just need to accept the unfolding with wisdom and...

So What If I Don't Fit In?

I'm an indigo adult. I hate being told what to do. To me, self-help means that I help myself. If I need a self-help book for it, it's not self-help anymore. Logical, right? I'm not a team player. I hate being a part of the crowd. I get nervous when I'm not the center of attention. The idea of being average scares me. I believe I can do everything better than you, and if sometimes, very rarely, I can't, I will pretend I can so well that you will believe me. It's fair. I love being me. I'm the ...

Remember Your Life: Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Happiness can often be found in little things. Don't you believe it is true? If you look back at the last couple of months, how many big, memorable things have you experienced? One? Two? Probably there is not much you remember. But time is running so fast and it has the annoying ability to slip through our fingers. Days, weeks, months and years go by and we don't even remember them. But it is never too late to change this and make sure that instead of forgetting your precious time, you make i...

Dolce Vita Joy Project: Day #15

The best moments of our lives are those we've never planned, expected or hoped for. Have you noticed? The most wonderful moments come out of the blue and knock our socks off. We just need to remember to leave as many doors open as possible, and then forget about them. Joy blossoms and tends to come back to us regularly when we let it go, give it freedom and some breathing space, right? So relax, dream, love and just live!
