At the end of her Instagram post, Bieber wrote, "As I’ve said, this is only the beginning."
Discussing her partnership with the e.l.f. team, Bieber told Vogue, "I could have gone to a table of suits (referencing brand suitors), but Elf Beauty’s partnership offering was different."
In a separate interview, e.l.f. Beauty CEO Tarang Amin described Bieber as "more than a celebrity," adding that her company grew to more than $212 million in net sales in less than three years. "I can think of no better brand that also aligns with our vision,” he concluded.
Looking ahead, the brand plans to create "a streamlined product assortment, calculated expansion into makeup and body care, performance-driven marketing, viral social media execution and selective retail partnerships," in the words of Vogue.
If Bieber made one thing clear, it’s that she has no plans to step away from the business—and she intends to stay deeply involved in creating what consumers are looking for.

Boil Water Advisory in Richmond, VA: City Releases Map & Timeline
The City of Richmond, VA, has issued a boil water advisory along with a map of affected areas and timeline.
On the evening of May 27, 2025, the city wrote in a statement that the "two zones impacted by the Boil Water Advisory have returned to a safe pressure," and noted, "The Department of Public Utilities took the first water samples from both zones around 7 p.m. Those results will come back in approximately 24 hours."
Lifting the Boil Water Advisory "requires two negative tests taken 16 hours apart; we plan to pull the second set of samples around noon on Wednesday, May 28. That set of results will also come back in approximately 24 hours,"
The city noted: "In the meantime, Boil Water Advisories remain in effect for residents in the neighborhoods highlighted on this map."
According to Axios, the boil water advisory was initially issued on the morning of May 27 and covered "nearly all areas north of the James River, including the Fan, Museum District, VCU's Monroe Park campus and VCU Health, Scott's Addition, Jackson Ward and parts of downtown."
It was then expanded "to parts of South Richmond," Axios reported.
"This advisory comes after the City’s Water Treatment Plant experienced an operational issue in the early morning hours on Tuesday, May 27, and after the water system had been restored to full production. The filters reclogged after running at full production for over an hour," the city wrote..
At 6:44 p.m. on May 27, the city wrote, "The City of Richmond, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health, has expanded the localized Boil Water Advisory immediately and until further notice. This expansion now impacts residents served by the Cofer Road Tank on the Southside of the City."
The map "includes (among others) residents living in communities or portions of Commerce Road and Richmond Highway corridors, including communities of Ancarrow’s Landing, Bellemeade, Blackwell, Commerce Road Industrial Area, Hillside Court, Davee Gardens, Manchester, Oak Grove, and Windsor (NOT Windsor Farms)," the city wrote.
"Some customers in these areas may experience a total loss of water service, while others may experience varying degrees of loss in water pressure," the city noted. "Impacted residents are encouraged to take conservation steps immediately, and boil water before consuming it. The list of impacted residents may continue to expand as water usage continues; residents in all neighborhoods are encouraged to conserve water and to stay up-to-date at rva.gov or on the City’s social media pages."
'90s Rock Legend Just Quietly Dropped a New Summer Banger You Have to Hear
Back in 1997, the rock band The Verve dropped one of the most immortal, epic anthems of all time: "Bittersweet Symphony." But, Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft has really never stopped putting out incredible music. Throughout the 2000s, Ashcroft has released several solo albums, and as recently as 2021, put out a compilation album called Acoustic Hymns Vol. I. But it's been seven years since he released any brand-new songs until now.
Unassumingly, on May 23, Ashcroft dropped a new single called "Lover," a pop/rock ballad that fuses his 1990s Verve swagger with the romantic vibe of his solo work. If you've missed the unique rock voice of Ashcroft, this song will take you back a bit. But, it's also totally modern, and if you didn't know it was him, you might assume this was coming from a newer band or singer.
View the original article to see embedded media.
At 53, Ashcroft isn't the youngest rocker in the game, but he's certainly not the oldest. Back in 1997, lawyers for The Rolling Stones sued Ashcroft over the use of a violin riff in "Bittersweet Symphony" that had originally been used in the Stones song "The Last Time." But, in 2019, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards reversed the previous position of their management, and all songwriting credit reverted to Ashcroft.
The new song, "Lover," uses elements of Joan Armatrading's song "Love and Affection," though Ashcroft got Armatrading’s blessing before recording the song," according to Under the Radar.
There's no word yet if "Lover" signals a new full album from Ashcroft or not. His next project is arguably bigger than recording new music. Along with the band Cast, Ashcroft is the opening act for Oasis on the U.K. portion of that band's massive Live '25 tour.
He's long been close with both Gallagher brothers from Oasis. Noel Gallagher has said the song "Cast No Shadow" was written for Ashcroft. Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher dueted with Ashcroft on a 2021 version of Ashcroft's song "C’mon People (We’re Making It Now)."
"You've got a lovely, exciting summer ahead of concerts," Ashcroft said recently on Radio X, in reference to him opening for Oasis. "It's a good thing to play with the lads over the summer. It's a kind of validation. We weren't all insane, you know what I mean? Back then [the 1990s] we were doing something that meant something."

Jackman, 56, and Furness, 69, met in 1995 while working on the television series, Correlli and married the following year. They are parents to two adopted children: Oscar, 24 and Ava, 19.
Furness gained recognition after starring in Shame (1998), and is also known for her roles in Jindabyne (2006) and Force of Nature: The Dry 2 (2023).
Jackman rose to fame for his portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men film series and is also known for his roles in The Greatest Showman (2017), The Prestige (2006), and Deadpool and Wolverine (2024).

United Airlines Tightens Passenger Check-In Window
Starting next week, United Airlines passengers must check in earlier than usual. As of June 3, United will implement a "check-in cutoff" for domestic flights 45 minutes before departure. That is 15 minutes earlier than it currently stands.
In an email to The Associated Press, a United spokesperson said the change "brings greater consistency for our customers."
These requirements vary by airline. For example, according to The Associated Press, Emirates passengers must check in 90 minutes before departure. And on Delta, passengers must check in at least 45 minutes prior to departure for all domestic flights. Americans' cut-off is also 45 minutes prior to departure.

This news comes on the heels of other major changes in the world of flying.
Southwest Airlines, for example, is introducing a baggage fee—a notable shift for the carrier long known for its free checked bags.
On May 27, the airline started implementing a $35 fee for the first checked bag and a $45 fee for a second checked bag. These charges won't apply to those in the A-list Rapid Rewards loyalty program.
And that isn't the only news. According to Conde Nast Traveler, those traveling frequently this summer should become better acquainted with a law enacted in October 2024, which states that those flying within the US will get "automatic refunds if passengers’ flights are canceled or significantly changed for any reason."
According to the outlet, if a passenger's flight is canceled or "significantly changed," they can receive automatic cash refunds.
The outlet wrote, "While the new rules are a huge win for US consumers’ rights, many travelers aren’t aware of the new laws or how to advocate for themselves when an airline doesn’t seem to be abiding by them."

It features quick-drying fabric that keeps you cool and comfortable during the grind, an athletic cut that provides a flattering fit, and reflective details that add a touch of visibility for night runners.

Before you hit “add to cart,” it’s essential to know what to look for when selecting a workout shirt. Fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex are excellent for wicking away sweat and drying quickly, while cotton might be more comfortable but can become heavy when soaked (and really stink up your gym locker).
The fit is another critical factor; a shirt that’s too loose might get in the way, while one that’s too tight can restrict movement. Additionally, look for shirts with ventilation zones or mesh panels to enhance airflow, keeping you cool as you train. And don’t forget the design—whether you prefer bold patterns or minimalist styles, the right workout shirt should make you feel good as you exercise. And if you happen to wear it out to the bar after your session, we support you.
Pilot Warns Passengers Against Using Seatback Pocket
As the summer draws near, we're reaching the peak season for airline travel across the United States. But before you board a plane, one former pilot has a warning for all passengers to ensure they don't lose their valuables.
Captain Steve Scheibner, an American Airlines pilot who's gained a following on YouTube as Captain Steeeve, issued a warning for all passengers recently as he advised travelers to never place their personal belongings in the back pocket of airplane seats, especially if it's something valuable or irreplaceable.
"Stop putting personal items in the seat back pocket in front of you. If you want to lose it and never see it again, put it in that dark hole that is the seat back pocket in front of you," Scheibner warned in a recent video.
Scheibner said that far too many times, he has heard from passengers who deboarded the plane only to realize that they've left personal items in the seat pocket where it's difficult to see or keep track of your items.
The biggest problem, he explains, is that once a passenger gets off the plane, they are not allowed to re-board the plane to look for their item.
"If the airplane is still at the gate, fingers crossed that somebody who cares can go out there and find the thing that you left in that seat back pocket," he said.
"But the odds are diminishing with every minute that ticks by after you leave that seat and you leave it in that black hole of despair. So, my friends, do not put your personal items in that seat back pocket, unless of course, you don't ever want to see it again."
The best way to avoid losing your valuables is to simply keep them in your pockets or your carry-on items.
Citizen's 'Elegant' Eco-Drive Watch Is Nearly 60% Off on Amazon, and Collectors Say It's 'Worth Every Penny'
Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Whether it’s high-tech features, expensive materials, or horological bona fides, there are lots of reasons watch prices get way out of hand. That’s unfortunate, because most people just need a good-looking, dependable timepiece that doesn’t cost a fortune. Japanese watchmaker Citizen is known for making these kinds of watches, and one of them is currently going for less than half of its normal price on Amazon.
The Citizen Eco-Drive Corso Classic Stainless Steel Watch is just $145 right now, a 59% discount off of its already reasonable $350 list price. It doesn’t count steps or advertise your net worth, but it does clearly display the time, the day, and the date. It’s earned 69 five-star ratings (out of 84 total), and reviews are calling it a “simple yet elegant” timepiece that’s “worth every penny.”
Citizen Eco-Drive Corso Classic Stainless Steel Watch, $145 (was $350) at Amazon
This watch has a case and band made of stainless steel, an attractive and durable material that complements the black face of the watch quite well. It has a simple-to-operate foldover clasp, small dials that display date and day, and water resistance up to 100 meters. Importantly, it uses Eco-Drive technology that harnesses light to power the Japanese quartz movement, so you’ll never need to worry about winding it or replacing the battery.
The “simple design” of this watch will “add some class to your outfit,” per one shopper. “All the different edges reflect light as you move, and it seems more expensive than it is,” and it works as well as it looks. Overall, it “makes a great daily wear watch.”
Another reviewer inherited this watch and has been quite impressed with its performance under tough conditions. ”I wear it every day in a woodshop and can say that it is a great watch,” they wrote, calling it “very accurate and durable” despite spending so much time in such a dusty, dirty environment.
The Citizen Eco-Drive Corso Classic Stainless Steel Watch is a lasting style statement of a watch that doesn’t cost a fortune on a normal day. With the limited-time discount Amazon has going, grabbing one is an even easier decision.
