Jason Kelce Shocks Fans With Major Request Amid Retirement
Jascon Kelce made a major request of fans amid retirement, and it surprised them.
Kelce posted a video of his golf swing on Reddit and confessed that he needs improvement. He even asked random fans for advice.
The original Reddit post is still up. It was posted to the subreddit r/GolfSwing on May 4, 2025.
Fans couldn't believe that the former NFL player wanted their opinion, but they were thrilled by it.
"Like everyone else said, try not to sway on the driver swing especially. But holy sh** this is cool as he**, Jason Kelce wants our advice guys 😂," wrote one shocked fan on the Reddit thread.
"No f****** way my man Kelce came in to this sub 🤣," wrote another.
Podcaster and digital show host Kevin Clark shared the news on X, writing, "Jason Kelce posting on the golf swing subreddit asking for advice on his backswing is beautiful. Golf is beautiful.".
"Hey Reddit Golfers, Jason Kelce here. Now that I’ve hung up the cleats, I’m trying to get serious about my golf game," the post says.
"I’ve uploaded 6 different angles of my swing from a session yesterday. Looking for any tips you can give me - especially on my backswing and follow-through. Been working with a local pro in Philly, but figured I’d get some crowd-sourced wisdom too. Thanks in advance. Kelce.”

Walmart Announces 1st Futuristic Store With Unusual Amenities
Walmart has announced its first major "store of the future" with a series of new and unusual amenities for customers.
Walmart announced the grand opening "of its newest Supercenter in Cypress, Texas — the company’s first ground-up Supercenter in four years and the first new-construction 'Store of the Future' in the U.S.," according to a April 30, 2025, press release. Walmart says the goal is to "modernize" retail by anticipating customers' needs relating to auto repair, health, and other issues.
"This milestone marks an exciting step forward in Walmart’s plan to build or convert more than 150 stores over the next several years as part of its long-term commitment to modernizing retail, expanding access to essential services and strengthening communities nationwide," the company wrote.
Walmart announced a series of unusual amenities at the new store.
They include a full-service fuel station for up to 16 vehicles, a "modern Pharmacy with a Health Services Room and Drive-Thru," a Hispanic bakery section including a fresh tortilla maker and sushi station, and "customer-centric amenities" like an Auto Care Center. The SuperCenter also has a Dunkin'.
"Customers will see QR codes throughout the store that unlock digital tools, resources, and instant access to an expanded assortment," Walmart wrote.
Customers are able to use the Walmart App for "scheduling TV mounting, enhancing registries or booking tire installation," the news release said.
There will also be a series of delivery options, including fast delivery within three hours, express delivery within 30 minutes, and InHome delivery, Walmart wrote.
The store will also have "digital shelf labels," according to Walmart.
“This isn’t just a ribbon cutting. It’s a commitment to the future, an investment in a community and new job opportunities,” said John Furner, President and CEO of Walmart U.S, in the news release. “I’m proud of our associates in Cypress who brought this to reality.”
According to Walmart, "In addition to Cypress, in 2025, Walmart plans to open new Supercenters in Frisco, Texas; Melissa, Texas; Eagle Mountain, Utah; and Eastvale, California."

Wildly Popular Appliance Is Being Recalled After 106 Burn Reports
A popular appliance sold at Walmart, Target, Costco, and other stores has been recalled after 106 burn reports throughout the U.S.
The product under recall is the "SharkNinja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cooker," according to the May 1, 2025, recall notice from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
About 1.8 million of the pressure cookers were sold in the United States, and more than 184,000 more were sold in Canada, according to the recall notice.
"Consumers should immediately stop using the product’s pressure-cooking function and contact SharkNinja for a free replacement lid. Consumers can continue to use the product’s air frying and other functions," the recall notice says. "SharkNinja has received 106 reports of burn injuries, including more than 50 reports of second- or third-degree burns to the face or body, with 26 lawsuits filed."
According to the notice, the pressure cooker was sold at "Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Amazon and Target stores nationwide, and online at www.Ninjakitchen.com, www.walmart.com, www.costco.com, www.samsclub.com, www.amazon.com and www.target.com from January 2019 through March 2025 for about $200."
The recall notice says, "The pressure-cooking lid can be opened during use, causing hot contents to escape, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers."
The remedy listed is "repair." The recall notice says the pressure cookers were manufactured in China.
"This recall involves all Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers. The cookers have functions that include pressure cooking and air frying. They were sold in black and have a 6.5-quart capacity," the recall notice says.
“Ninja” is printed "on the front of each unit and on the product label. Model numbers OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP305CO and OP350CO are included in this recall and are printed on a label on the side of the cooker," the notice adds.
"An additional code following the model number is not part of that model designation. For example, a unit labeled 'OP301 I07' is a model OP301 unit. Any OP300 series replacement pressure cooker lids purchased as an additional part are also included in this recall."

Oasis Brothers Reportedly Won't Party Together — For One Clear Reason
The lyrics "gotta keep em separated" may have come from iconic 90s band The Offspring, but today, the sentiment might better apply to another 90s band that starts with the letter "O." If reports are to be believed, the tempestuous brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, of the recently reformed band Oasis, will not be hanging out together backstage before or after the upcoming and highly anticipated reunion tour.
According to an article published in The Sun, and picked up by Deadline, "...the Gallagher brothers have been given completely separate green rooms and after-party spaces."
The thinking behind this is allegedly coming from the band's management, and, in theory, is designed to avoid one of many catastrophes that have plagued Oasis since the release of their first album, Definitely Maybe, in 1994. During their first American tour, Oasis broke up at least once, and by 1996, when the band played MTV Unplugged, lead singer Liam infamously dropped out of the show, and heckled older brother Noel, who took over vocals for the performance.
The band eventually broke up, seemingly for good, in 2009, when, before a concert in Paris, the Gallagher brothers fought so fiercely backstage that Noel refused to do the concert, and subsequently quit the band. Animosity simmered between team Noel and team Liam for 15 years, until last year, in 2024, when the pair publicly buried the hatchet, announcing a massive string of reunion shows.

In addition to songwriter/guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam, the rest of the Oasis line-up has been somewhat transient over the years, with certain members leaving for a variety of reasons.
Although the tour kicks off on July 4, 2025, as of this writing, the only confirmed band members are Liam and Noel. Rumors have suggested that Gem Archer, Oasis guitarist from 2000 to 2009 and frequent collaborator with both brothers, would return for the tour. Founding member Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs has also been rumored, as has nearly every single previous Oasis drummer, from Chris Sharrock to Ringo Starr's son, Zak Starkey, who, funnily enough, was just recently fired by The Who. Oasis bassist from 2000-2009, Andy Bell, has not been confirmed, though he did tour with his other famous band, Ride, in 2022, and just released his latest solo album, Pinball Wanderer, in February of this year.
It should be noted that the scoops from The Sun may not be entirely accurate. Seemingly in response to the reports, Liam Gallagher tweeted "after parties are for wankers."
The Oasis Live '25 Tour begins on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff. The band's first U.S. stop is Chicago, on August 28. For the Boomers, the best Catwoman was Julie Newmar or Eartha Kitt. For the younger crowd, like Gen Z, it's probably Anne Hathaway, Zoë Kravitz, or maybe Halle Berry. But for the elder millennials and Gen X, the one and only Catwoman is still Michelle Pfeiffer.
And now, after thirty-three years, Pfeiffer has been reunited with her iconic Catwoman suit from the 1992 Tim Burton film, Batman Returns. While attending the 2025 TCM Classic Film Festival, Pfeiffer posed with her original leather catsuit, on display, courtesy of the Warner Bros Film Archives.
In an awesome video, posted to her official Instagram account, Pfeiffer can be seen inspecting her old costume lovingly and hilariously. Her caption read: "Visiting this old friend was catnip for a girl like me."

Pfeiffer also pointed out that the 1992 screen costume was designed by Bob Ringwood and Mary Vogt. Ringwood is a Hollywood legend, and in addition to the leathery fits for the Burton Batman films, he was also responsible for the iconic stillsuits in the 1984 David Lynch Dune. Meanwhile, Mary Vogt worked on a number of films, including Hocus Pocus and Men in Black.
While attending the TCM Classic Film Festival, which ran from April 24 through April 27, Pfeiffer was also immortalized by placing her handprints in front of the TLC Chinese Theater.

U.S. Announces Major Plan for 42 New Hunting Opportunities Nationwide
The United States Department of the Interior announced 42 "new proposed hunting opportunities across more than 87,000 acres within the National Wildlife Refuge System and National Fish Hatchery System."
The news was announced via a May 2, 2025, press release.
"This proposal would more than triple the number of opportunities and quintuple the number of stations opened or expanded compared to the previous administration, underscoring a strong national commitment to outdoor recreation and conservation," the press release says.
“Expanding recreational access to our public lands isn’t just about tradition—it’s about supporting rural economies and the American families who depend on them,” said Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
“By opening more areas to hunting and outdoor recreation, we’re helping drive tourism, create jobs, and generate revenue for local communities, all while promoting responsible stewardship of our natural resources," he added.
The Service "is proposing to open or expand opportunities for hunting and sport fishing at 16 National Wildlife Refuge System stations and one National Fish Hatchery System station," the release notes.
These stations "are located in Alabama, California, Idaho, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Texas and Washington," the release says.
"The Service is committed to ensuring that all hunting and fishing opportunities align with state fish and wildlife regulations. We continue to work closely with our state partners to maintain consistency in areas such as the use of lead ammunition and fishing tackle, and we will incorporate these considerations into future updates," it adds.
“Hunting and fishing are traditional recreational activities deeply rooted in America’s heritage. National wildlife refuges, national fish hatcheries and other Service lands offer hunting and fishing access that helps boost local economies and gives Americans an opportunity to unplug,” said Fish and Wildlife Service Acting Director Paul Souza in the release. “We are pleased to expand access and offer new opportunities that are compatible with our conservation mission and are committed to responsibly managing these areas for the benefit of future generations.”
The National Wildlife Refuge System "is an unparalleled network of 573 national wildlife refuges and 38 wetland management districts," the release said.

Everyone Made the Same Joke After Journalism's Kentucky Derby Loss
On Saturday, May 3 the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby saw a tight race between Sovereignty and 3-1 favorite Journalism, with the former squeaking out the second win for trainer Bill Mott.
He won his first Derby in 2019 in similar wet conditions when Country House was eventually named the winner despite Maximum Security crossing the finish line first before later being disqualified.
"This one got there the right way," the Hall of Fame trainer said. "I mean, he's done well, he's a great horse, he comes from a great organization and I can't say enough about the horse and the organization that started him out and made this happen."
Following a rocky start, Journalism jumped out to the lead down the back stretch before Sovereignty came storming past to take the win.

Immediately after the result, thousands of people - mostly journalists - rushed to social media to joke about sovereignty defeating journalism once again...or how journalism fails to pay.
"you don't get into journalism to make money," one person noted.
"Sovereignty defeats Journalism. Tale as old as time," joked another.
"Sovereignty defeating Journalism hits a little too close to home these days," offered a third.
"It appears my parents were right: Journalism doesn’t pay," joked another.
"A dark day for Journalism," another added.
Baeza, who got into the race on May 1 after another horse was scratched, took third. Final Gambit was fourth, and Owen Almighty finished fifth.
White House to Cut Over 1,000 Employees From Top U.S. Intelligence Agency: Report
The White House has already gutted a number of government entities with the goal of saving the American people money - or so the claim goes.
In another stunning move, the White House now plans to fire thousands of employees in a massive cutback to shrink the workforce of a number of U.S. intelligence agencies. According to a report from NBC News, the goal is to cut thousands of employees over the next two years.
The report noted lawmakers have already been told the downsizing will see the loss of up to 1,200 employees at the CIA, which NBC News reported had over 21,000 employees as of 2013.
A CIA spokesperson told NBC News that the agency’s director, John Ratcliffe, “is moving swiftly to ensure the CIA workforce is responsive to the Administration’s national security priorities.”
“These moves are part of a holistic strategy to infuse the Agency with renewed energy, provide opportunities for rising leaders to emerge, and better position CIA to deliver on its mission,” the spokesperson added.
The CIA isn't the only intelligence agency that will be making cuts in the near future, though. The report noted other intelligence agency's fall under the Defense Department's budget and will have to fall in line with the Pentagon's goal of reducing civilian workforce by up to 8%.
"The cuts at the CIA and other spy agencies would be achieved through a combination of scaling back hiring, early retirements and so-called 'buyout' options for those ready to accept a one-time offer to resign later this year," the report said.
No mass firings are planned, which shows a clear departure from how the administration has handled cuts to other federal departments.
Popular Whiskey Brand Hit With Troubling News
Popular whiskey brand Devils River Whiskey has been around since 2017, expanding from its roots in San Antonio, TX to 36 states and five different countries.
Back in 2023, the company announced a new brand deal with Dune and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista to join the growing business.
"We are thrilled to have someone of Dave's caliber as an investor and partner," Co-Founder and CEO of Devils River Whiskey Mike Cameron said in a statement at the time. "Dave's involvement in our brand is a major step toward Devils River Whiskey leading the diversification of bourbon culture and elevating Texas whiskey."
Bautista emerged as a household name thanks to his impressive stint in Marvel, standout performance in Knock at the Cabin and his work on Denis Villeneuve's Dune series. "I'm extremely honored to join the Devils River family. I was blown away by their products and the love and pride that goes into making them. I couldn't be more excited to contribute to the growth of the company," he said about the brand deal in 2023.
Just two years later, the company was hit with some difficult news. According to a report from The Street, Devils River Distillery LLC and an affiliate filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to reorganize their business and continue operating.

The debtor listed $1 million to $10 million in assets and liabilities in its Subchapter V petition filed on May 1 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. Its largest unsecured creditors include McDermott, Will & Emory, owed over $317,000; Sazerac, owed over $258,000; AREA Real Estate, owed over $132,000 and Romph & Pou Agency, owed over $83,000.
The company touts "more than sixty-three national and international awards" for its products including bourbon whiskey, agave whiskey, coffee whiskey and more.
"Devils River Whiskey is recognized nationally as an award-winning brand, including multiple SIP Awards, The Fifty Best accolades, and International Spirits Competition gold medals," the company said.
Simone Biles Turns Heads at the Kentucky Derby
In the days leading up to the Kentucky Derby, American singer Grace Potter admitted the national anthem was one of the most challenging songs to sing.
"It's one of the most challenging vocal songs to sing. That's why so many people botch it pretty darn good. And when I hear it in its finest form, it's usually instrumental, you know, it's no one singing it because it is a gorgeous piece of music, but the vocalization of it is challenging," she told Southern Living.
"It's a little bit like playing the bagpipes, which I did do as a young person. There's just these points in the dynamics where your voice is being asked to do something that would be better performed by an instrument. But I love a good challenge. And, you know, this is as far outside of the box for me as a rock and roll singer as I could go. But, I don't know, life is too short not to try everything at least once, twice if I like it, you know?"
Unfortunately for her, the challenge was witnessed on the national stage as she struggled with her rendition. While Potter didn't exactly execute how she would have liked, seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles couldn't say the same.

Fans noted the Olympic superstar looked like a natural in her new job at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday night.

"No disrespect to Livvy yesterday but there’s levels to gymnasts doing the riders up at the Derby," joked another, calling out Olivia Dunne.
Biles and the rest of the 150,000 spectators at the event witnessed Sovereignty get the win over Journalism.
