Still waiting
Still not in surgery. Michelle keeps begging for Taco Bell.

Surgery
Surgery is scheduled for 2:30 tomorrow. We were unable to get an operating room today.
Another Delay
Surgery is postponed until tomorrow.

Just talked to neurosurgeon
Surgery is definitely tomorrow. Don’t know what time yet. It should take about an hour. We’re replacing tubing in pelvic area and will know immediately if that corrects the problem. If not will proceed immediately to brain surgery and replace entire shunt.

Surgery Update
Just been informed that Michelle will not have surgery until Monday morning. She’s spending the weekend in the hospital. It’ going to be a loooooooong weekend.

She’s Being Admitted
Michelle is finally being admitted. She just ate and is much happier. Hopefully surgery tomorrow.
Still waiting
We’re still waiting for neuro to tap Michelle’s shunt. We’ve been here twelve hours now and she hasn’t been able to eat and is attached to lines. Getting impatient. Can you blame her?
