Congressional Awareness on Brain Injury

USA Today reported on April 8th that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' office and other members of congress are pushing for a full range of rehab services to be included in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. If this movement is going to be successful there needs to be a great deal of information about brain injury disseminated. Very few people understand what a grueling, uphill battle it is to get any resources for those with brain injuries. Thousands of individuals, and many of them young, are warehoused every year.
