Busy month

What a month this has been. Have published 3 new books since April 30th and there is one more currently underway, which just goes to show how busy some people have been during lockdown or their furlough situation and how those same people have used the time positively.

These days, it's commonly believed that teenagers' brains are differently 'wired' from those of mature adults all over the world, which I guess explains teenage angst and all its associated problems. But this book points out that the wiredness (or maybe 'weirdness') exists, not only all over the world as we know it, but also all over the Universe. But, at the same time, some teens exhibit a rare wisdom and understanding that combines with innocence and just growing up.
Loved this book.

Mirror on the World: Poetic Reflections by Ann Perry

I love the way the pages are set out with staggered verses on the longer poems. This makes for an easier and pleasant read. Also the poetry, whether happy or sad, is all either uplifting or moving. A joy to read and would make a lovely gift.
