Self-Publishing In the Eye of the Storm Self-Publishing In the Eye of the Storm by Karl Wiggins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything rang true for me. Loads of matter-of-fact advice for indie authors - and from several different authors. I only wish I could have contributed to this book. Loved it.

Solar Arc Directions

Solar Arc Directions Solar Arc Directions by Carole Devine

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Clearly explained astrological teaching for students or teachers of astrology.
This book was originally published in 2000, but is now available on Kindle for $3 at Amazon, both in the U.S. and Great Britain. A thorough textbook about one of Astrology's most accurate forecasting tools, it includes: mathematics and theory of Solar Arc; indications of childhood auto-response triggers and resulting adult dramas; Carole's original discovery of reverse repetition of Solar Arc fourth harmonic aspects after 45 degrees--meaning, some lessons of life repeat after age 45 in reverse order; and rectification using Solar Arc.

Now available from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Solar-Arc-Direc...

Freedom is Earned

Freedom Is Earned Freedom Is Earned by Kristal McKerrington

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved this book and there is a definite message here, screaming to be heard. It is from the youth of our society needing to be recognised as a voice. I should know, as being one of the first ‘baby boomers’ and those to be recognised as ‘teenagers’ way back in the 50-60s, we were the first to be established as a part of society and not ‘just children’ that nobody listened to. We weren’t allowed to vote until we were 21, but we could still be sent off to war at the age of 17 to die for our country. Where was the justice? No wonder we rebelled and wore our ‘ban the bomb’ t-shirts with pride. Our only weapon was rock ‘n roll and the Hippie peace movement back then.

Three generations on, young people are still rebelling against society as they find it. They are still misunderstood, still feared, ridiculed, and still blamed for everything that goes wrong.

Kristal’s book: Freedom is Earned goes a long way into explaining how the generation gap has occurred and possibly how it always will exist. She effectively describes her longing to make a difference and her passion for street dancing as a form of expression for all young people. Within the story, she also describes her own passions, hurts, humiliations and, finally, the strength that these things gave to her.

Against all adversity, Kristal has achieved. I take my hat off to her…

Bobby's Girl

It took me ages to find this blog page again. Are you supposed to have separate ones for reader, author and publisher?
Anyway, just saying that I am giving away 6 signed copies of 'Bobby's Girl' by Bernie Morris. The giveaway is until August 3rd.

Bronwyn Editions

Hello, I am Bernie Morris and also Bronwyn Editions. I do this publishing stuff all on my own. Sometimes it seems almost impossible to cope and I feel like giving up, but I won't so long as I have authors like GB Hope who are so dynamic and enthusiastic and raring to go. How could I let them down?

Born 1946 so I guess that makes me ancient. Never thought of writing until I read 'Jennie' by Paul Gallico, aged 12. Only wrote poems at first in my schooldays and did so for several years after until ...more
